SIR: If there is one man whose life and ministry has impacted spiritually, morally, materially on the lives of millions of people around the world, it is the founder and leader of the Synagogue Church of all Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua popularly called Prophet T.B. Joshua. From a very humble beginning in the late 1990s, Prophet T.B. Joshua against all odd have continue to soar in his mission of changing lives, changing nations and changing the world.

One astonishing feature that distinguishes Prophet T.B. Joshua from other men of God is his maturity in preaching and teaching the Word of God with power and the practical demonstration of God’s love for mankind through provision of assistance and succor to millions of people irrespective of nationality, tribe, religion or denomination.

Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV partners’ scholarship scheme stand out today as one of its kind in Nigeria. What marvels is the kind heart with which these assistance are given devoid of the usual showmanship and grandstanding exhibited by most people when they give to the needy. Recently, the prophet paid about N26 million to enable one Ms. Yinka Oduwale undertake a PhD study at the prestigious Oxford University in England. The gesture particularly challenged me. Thousands of families today are being restored through Prophet T.B. Joshua ministry. On more than one occasion, I have watched him donate millions of dollars in aids to people affected by natural disaster elsewhere in the world and at same extending similar gesture to charities organization and rehabilitation homes in Europe and America. Hence, Aljazeera once reported this unusual gesture as the flow of aids form Africa to America.

Apart from students, athletes and people with disabilities are very dear to the heart of the Prophet. Every year, he and Emmanuel TV partners spend millions of dollars to train and develop talented athletes especially those living with disabilities.

The life of Prophet T.B. Joshua has something to teach all of us, his very humble beginning is a testament to the fact that anybody can be chosen by God irrespective of his/her background. Prophet T.B. Joshua has taught the rich not to glory in their riches; that we must jettison the thoughts self alone.

The simplicity and humility of Prophet T.B. Joshua is particularly a challenge to our billionaire flamboyant bishops and pastors whose ministries of prosperity, riches, gold, diamond and private jets have turned Christianity upside down in Nigeria and the world over. As this humble God’s servant mark the age of 50, I join millions of people across the world to appreciate God for the gift of a prophet for my generation.

ONCE I WAS BLIND, BUT NOW I CAN SEE

Mrs Naomi Kiloko was experiencing blindness for one year. What started as mere irritation of the eyes soon worsened to the point where her eyes became grossly swollen and she lost all vision. Medical doctors were unable to explain the sudden deterioration of her vision and discharged her from hospital offering no hope of solution.Mrs Kiloko would spend the entirety of her days alone, lying down on her bed in utter darkness and desolation.

It was in this condition that an extended family relative who was privileged to have visited The SCOAN and received the new Anointing Water came to see her. Using her hands to prise open the severely swollen eyelids, she ministered the New Anointing Water in Jesus’ name.

To the astonishment of all witnesses, a physical sound erupted as if a cork was unscrewed from a bottle! At that Divine moment, Mrs Kiloko’s sigh was restored! In view of the fact that so many people still seem to believe the liberal bias Journalism of BBC and SKY news on SCOAN, We’re making this post to revisit the issue and also as a Tribute to a regular commenter on TB Joshua watch who goes by the alias Ironclad, and works in an investigative/audit field involving white collar crime in the State of New Jersey, we with this post present collated excerpts from his comments throughout TB Joshua watch which are as insightful as they are revealing and are facts too important to be at the bottom of many comments on TB Joshua watch. Apart from exposing the hidden agenda behind the BBC and SKY news report on SCOAN, he also laments how too many cessationists would rather leave God in the fridge of their unbelief, with miracles abounding and the gifts of the Spirit shining in third world countries.

TB Joshua Watch, BBC and SKY report On SCOAN – “The Hidden Agenda”

The BBC news report mentions a Jane Iwu (I don’t fail to notice the ‘Jane’ part of Doe) who “knows of a friend.” No name. No dates. There’s also mention of a “second woman from east London who told of a friend.” Notice, an unnamed woman tells of another unnamed woman. Both accounts are hearsay and thus not good admissible evidence. Where’s the third alleged victim? Can we really say with full confidence that these are worthy evidences to justify such a firm conclusion as the heading of the report proclaims? That’s misleading. Guilty until proven innocent is not a good Christian practice; but then again, who said these liberal news agencies are in favor of Christianity to begin with. News reporting should be more responsible than that. Maybe that’s why respectable news agencies like the AP have not picked up on it. We should not let bias blind us away from what is honest and true. If what they say is true, then the perpetrators are liable for manslaughter, at least? This indeed has all the trappings of an indictable offense. Have the police been conducting an investigation? Are there lawsuits pending? I know Great Britain has a very severe judicial system. And the President of Nigeria would not allow one of its citizens, whom he personally knows, to get away with this. It is not good for the nation or his political reputation. I don’t need to travel to a faraway country to realize that in every church and in every movement there will always be those who will stir the waters of controversy because of envy or because something that has been done against them. There will always be opponents. Such reality we also find in the Bible. Christian history is filled with it.

BBC report on SCOAN – based on “An unnamed woman’s testimony to another unnamed woman” – Faceless and nameless allegations offering nothing to track!

Let’s go back to that BBC report again. The report states: “AHPN said it believed the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), which has UK headquarters in Southwark, south London, MAY BE one of those involved in such practices.” (Note the capitals) According to the above, they don’t even know if SCOAN is implicated. The mindtry MAY BE involved in the practice. So much for nothing. No wonder none of the leaders have been indicted or investigated by police. Look who the churches in Britain are dealing with in this controversy. A closer look at one of the accusers >>> “Emmanuel admitted he suspects he may have passed HIV onto his boyfriend” {http://news.sky.com/home/uk-news/article/16117269}. Talk about not changing your lifestyle and repenting from your sin of homosexuality and yet wanting God to heal you. Since in the Western world AIDS still attacks gays disproportionately, of course it is not a long jump to conclude that some in the gay community will have their radars open and their claws ready for tearing its prey with on this one. After all, ILGA and similar LGBT groups are increasing their efforts to bring down all things religious and if it could, destroy Christianity itself, the vanguard of so-called hostilities against them. Funny that many professed Christians are joining their efforts as the Devil pounces on. We cannot deny the fact that AIDS disproportionately affects gays in western countries. And we cannot pretend that there is not a homosexual agenda out there looking to destroy the church, or at least that sector of Christianity that disagrees with their lifestyle and calls it a sin. Have you been aware of the latest activities of the pro-gay movement in its attempt of dismantling established Christian traditions and values? We have one of the accusers, Emmanuel, in the Sky News report, who’s complaining that he might have given the virus to his boyfriend after, presumably, thinking that he was already healed. What??!! That sounds so preposterous and disingenuous. The gall of this man!! Instead of changing his sinful ways and turning back from the sin of homosexual sex, this malcontent has the audacity to point fingers at God and his servants for not having his miracle as was promised so that he could go ahead and keep on enjoying his sodomizing escapades. This is bad enough in itself, but what worries me more is that here we have a group of co-called Christians joining hands with these unrepentant sinners, even with a liberally slanted media, and following the Serpent’s tail without so much looking at the destructive path the filthy animal is leading it to.

Abuse Allegations against TB Joshua – Where Are The Proofs? – or at least News Reports?

Satan remains the accuser of the brethren, working through his agents to accuse God’s servants.

And about allegations of sex abuse coming from Nigeria, if this is also true, where are the news articles for these also? If a minister is suspected of having committed so serious a crime as sexual abuse, don’t you think the authorities would be on top of this as well as the respective news organizations? respectable news agencies like the Associated Press Especially when SCOAN has as one of its members the President of a nation? News agencies will stop at nothing to cover such juicy sensational stories. But that’s not what we have because it’s just that. Faceless and nameless allegations offering nothing to track. And one more thing about the BBC report. The two anonymous accusers don’t even make a connection with SCOAN. They only say that some pastor or some church had told victims not to take medication. This is the classic guilt by association ploy. I’m not saying the BBC is not credible. What I had problems with was the story of the people making the news. It did not add up and was kind of flaky. To their credit, the BBC journalist did write: “AHPN said it believed the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), which has UK headquarters in Southwark, south London, MAY BE one of those involved in such practices.” A good way of not putting yourself in the hook. Pretty slick! So don’t let my skepticism of people’s shaky stories stop you from posting relevant news articles, After all, you are compelled to save the world from awful Antichrists like TB Joshua. In that spirit, where are the articles pointing to SCOAN’s sexual abuse allegations? I’m sure with potential crimes like these, it would not be hard to find a juicy story or two, especially when you have hundreds, if not thousands of people out there who are being robbed and abused by Joshua’s ministry and are out to get him.

Why So Much Criticisms against TB Joshua’s Ministry?

Heresy hunters have been at it for centuries. This is nothing new. Just look at Christian history. Mention Irvington or Kuhlman, for example, and all cessationists and anti-charismatics will come out of the woodwork with nooses and stakes. To cessationists and anti-charismatics, revelatory and other supernatural gifts are just not possible, so if you have them, that automatically qualifies you as a false prophet. Notice how they make much of the 1 John 4:1-3 test, but yet fail to heed its pure wisdom. On this score, TB Joshua passes the test since he acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and is from God. But that’s not enough to the cessationists. To him, extraordinary displays of supernatural power and revelation makes you an antichrist. Such views operate from an a priori thinking, and it is therefore natural that the charismatically gifted should send them fear because it is a violation of their theological sensibilities.

*Cessationism: In Christian theology, is the view that the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as tongues, prophecy and healing, ceased being practiced early on in Church history.

Testimonies in abundance at the SCOAN

1.       NNAMDI EDOZIE AND WIFE – RECONCILED AFTER DELIVERANCE

A video was played in which the prophet last Monday prophesied to a couple that there was no affection at home. The husband, Mr Nnamdi Edozie revealed that though he has a beautiful woman as a wife, she is used to beating him; he washed her clothes and she was indeed the husband at home. He used to dream also, in which he saw his wife’s spiritual husband sleeping with her while he was turned into a houseboy. He said the wife was also wasteful in spending, violent and domineering. The second video was played, revealing the wife’s deliverance. The evil spirit spoke through her that it wanted to kill the couple through an accident and the wife would never have a child.

The husband told the congregation this Sunday morning that he had suffered so much, and had spent close to N15 million, visiting over 50 churches and 21 herbalists, for a solution, without success. Instead, he was told lies as to the causes of the problems in his household. He suffered financially and even had to use his vehicle as collateral. He experienced terrible accidents with his personal Jeep and three of his vehicles used in his transport business.

After her deliverance, she dreamt that the spiritual husband who had previously chased her wanting to use her for pepper soup was instead cut to pieces and used for pepper soup. Calling her husband “my baby boy” to acknowledge the renewed love between them, she stated that she was “the happiest woman on earth”. To the husband, the affection is now wonderful – “Just like an electric shock”, he said with a huge smile. He had advised that couples should look up to God as “there is nothing God cannot do”.

2.       MRS HELLEN UBONG TOON – RECONCILED WITH HER HUSBAND

A video was replayed showing the prophet prophesying to Mrs Hellen Ubong Toon that she had caught her husband with another woman and that she needed to hear God’s voice on the issue. After revealing a prophetic word to the woman about a man meeting her in her dreams, Prophet T.B. Joshua posed a question to her, asking her if that was not fornicating spiritually. Her home, according to the prophet was plagued by a spiritual husband. This morning, the woman had come with her husband; her husband used to be good to her, until recently when he turned against her, especially as she had remained barren for 12 years. For the first three years of their marriage, he said that things were really good for him but after that time, he had to sell his three cars and house due to financial problems caused by the spiritual husband. He had also slept with other women to prove his virility and fertility after which he was convinced that she was the cause of the barrenness. Prophet Joshua promised to deliver them and reconciliation occurred immediately.

3.       PASTOR LUCY PAYE TENIE – DELIVERED FROM EVIL FORCES

The USA based pastor (with a prophet for a husband) and co-founder of The End Times Ministries had come to the church, having watched numerous miracles performed and shown on Emmanuel TV. The evil spirit which spoke through her said it was responsible for fighting against the ministry, especially the commitment towards liberating Africa through the mechanism of Christianity. It said it was a collection of evil spirits from under the sea, which specialized in confusing people and creating sicknesses all over them. She had worked on a number of items (like a foundation centered on the less privileged and victims of HIV/AIDS, orphans, widows, etc) but had often procrastinated. She had told the church today, that she had only come for deliverance but was shocked to see what happened to her. She said she had pursued a career in medicine and now Biblical studies. She said deliverance is an important process but it must be done in a living church because though delivered before now, nothing worked for her.

Prophet T.B. Joshua spoke on the need for people to be aware of the fact that one may not know himself and that God can use anything to do His work. Works of charity must be done consistently to “prove that you are a servant”.

4.       ROSE IDRISU – EXPERIENCED BREAKTHROUGH THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

A Ghanaian woman had come to the church to thank God for the spectacular breakthrough she has experienced in her life, through a former poor, kindergarten teacher. She had earlier come to The SCOAN to collect Anointing Water from the prophet, which she administered. She started selling timber and this soon grew into a prosperous business. Today, she has two Jeeps and five trucks and four building though she started the business with only $350. 

Her advice to people was that the most important change is her life was not becoming a comfortable millionaire but that her faith increased to a new level and her life was completely transformed. This was her advice to people.

5.       AYUK AKOACHERE – EXPERIENCED ACADEMIC AND ENTERPRENEURAL BREAKTHROUGH THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

A Cameroonian, this multiple award winner, came to the church to express gratitude to God for His mercy on him. Frustrated in his job as an MTN Financial Analyst and Planning Manager, he had visited The SCOAN and was privileged to receive the Anointing Water. He applied it in his home and office and also sprayed in directly on himself. In 2011, he received an award for best performance in November and then the quarterly award as an outstanding employee. He also got the 2011 award in the category of “knowledge shared” and the MTN- Best Award in West and Central Africa. He chose to be sponsored by the company; he attended the Harvard Business School, Oxford Business School and The London Business School and made good impressions in the midst of other business executives from all over the world.

The Anointing Water is always his companion and it has opened a lot of doors and many companies wish to employ him, even as a physically challenged. His advice to the young is to trust in God though “we live in a world of temptations, doing crazy things to make money”. He said Jesus gives us an open cheque to fill any amount and enjoy life to the fullest with no strings attached. He also encouraged people should trust and have faith in Jesus and “He will do the rest”.

6.       MRS TANGANY BOTHO– DELIVERED FROM GALL BLADDER STONES THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

Mrs Botho had initially experienced terrible pain and felt she was dying before she chose to visit the hospital where she was diagnosed with gall bladder stones. Doctors recommended operation but she refused and came to The SCOAN and was privileged to get Anointing Water which she used; upon use, she felt a burning sensation and her pain faded gradually. Eventually, she did a test and was told the stones were no longer there. She had advised that people should trust God because through Him, all things are possible. It was her first time of coming to The SCOAN from Botswana.

7.       KENNEDY VIRGINIA EKERIA – DELIVERED FROM AN 18 YEARS ADDICTION TO DRUGS THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

He had actively used drugs for 18 years and became morally and psychologically depressed. He had used a variety – Indian hemp, cocaine, heroine and many other drugs. Not being able to stop it by himself, his wife joined the battle when she became terrified of him as he was always humiliating and beating her. After one of his violent rants, she was hospitalized and operated on but in the end because of his financial carelessness, he could not pay the hospital bill. He explained that without his knowledge, she was pouring the Anointing Water into his bath, food and drinking water and praying with Emmanuel TV. Due to her prayers and active faith, he became calmer and calmer. One night, he was ‘arrested’ in the dream by the Holy Spirit, God met with him and he abandoned his drug habits and old ways of life.

8.       HNR KING RICHARD SEIBA – DELIVERED FROM KIDNAPPERS AND GIVEN A CAR AND N500,000 BY PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA AND THE EMMANUEL TV PARTNERS

Hnr King Richard Seiba is from Yenogoa Council, Bayelsa State, Nigeria and was kidnapped from his home by seven armed youths who removed him through a window. He was alleged to be having an oil company in his domain through which he made a lot of money and built several houses. The kidnappers had demanded for a ransom of N30 million. One of those close to the king, Mishak Matthew (from Edo State) had tried to raise some money – first N2 million and then N4.5 million which was rejected by the kidnappers. Matthew travelled to The SCOAN from Bayelsa and obtained the Anointing Water which he sprayed on the king’s photograph and prayed. During the service, Mr Mishak also held the photograph of the king and one of the wise men touched it and ‘it was over’.

The king though he had suffered hunger and deprivation for many days was eventually released after the prayer as confusion set in among the kidnappers.

The king thanked God and T.B. Joshua as he said he was released on 25 September 2012. He said though they had wanted to kill him, Jesus saved him as he had seen T.B. Joshua in a dream. He said the kidnappers told him that some members of his community betrayed him but he had fasted and prayed earnestly. Grief-hearted, he had been released only narrowly. He thanked God for his security and return home. During the Sunday service, Prophet T.B. Joshua had promised to give him a car and N500,000. The very next day, during the Monday service, the pledge was fulfilled – a brand new Honda Accord car was given to him along with N500,000. He was advised to put the troubles behind him.

9.       MIRIAM AND FELISTUS NJATHU – HEALED OF HIV/AIDS POSITIVE ONE AT THE PRAYER LINE

Both are sisters from Malawi and suffered from HIV/AIDS Positive 1 for two years before they came to The SCOAN to be part of the prayer line. Miriam is 28 years and Felistas is 33 years old and both had suffered from dizziness and chronic headaches for two years. Holding their medical reports as evidence, they were certified negative, after returning to their country following their healing in the church on 25 December 2012. Both said that fornication and adultery led to their plagues before they were delivered. Miriam said she is free and fit and that people should always trust in God as “The Mighty Healer”. Felistus also said people should not lose hope; they should know that God is able to do all things for His children.

10.   MOLLY SEBELE – HEALED OF CERVICAL CANCER THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

A lecturer in a College of Education, Botswana (Dean of Physical Education Department), Molly Sebele had suffered from cervical cancer which gave her copious vaginal discharges that made her smell badly. By the grace of God, she received the Anointing Water which she used constantly and prayed with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV and was miraculously healed with the medical report to prove it.

11.   MOSES ANI AND WIFE – DELIVERED FROM BARRENNESS THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

Moses Ani had suffered from low sperm count while his wife, Blessing had experienced no menses for years and this had resulted in barrenness. They were privileged to have The Anointing Water with which they prayed and later sprayed. Today, God has blessed them with a child of their own. They advised that people should hold on and hold out and trust in God because “with Him, all things are possible”.

12.   UGOCHUKWU IKENNA – DELIVERED FROM HARD DRUGS THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

He had been a drug addict for many years selling his own clothes to buy drugs; he led a miserable life living moment by moment for his next fix. For seven years, he was not himself. He was taken to a rehabilitation centre and released on July 18, 2012, yet he returned to drugs. His wife had decided to put The Anointing Water in his food and he slept for many hours after eating it. The man who had once led a terribly rough life and had sold three cars, gradually regained himself and reconciled with his wife who had separated from him because of the drugs. He said that as The Anointing Water was having effect on him, a ball of fire left his body. He said drugs ruin people and that it is only God could help them in moments of stress.

13.   BEATRICE ATOM – DELIVERED FROM POVERTY AND LONELINESS

Mrs Beatrice Atom is a Liberian whose husband was killed by militants on August 10, 1990. He was actually shot dead and cut into four pieces right in front of his wife. She escaped into the forest with her kids and stayed there for eight months. She was full of pain in her heart and had to take care of three daughters and a boy, alone. Her house was also burnt to the ground.

After narrating her story, T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners in an act of charity, gave her N300,000 and a copy of “The Mirror”. She was grateful to T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners for their generosity and for being located by the Holy Spirit.

I wonder where this so called spiritual husbands come from, they are worse than any deadly disease you can ever think of (besides they are the cause) I pray that the Lord would deliver his children from demons who are:
1. Child abuser’s – they claim you while in your mother’s womb by the time you are born you are already taken by them.

2. Abnormal wedding day – the next thing you find yourself being wedded by without your permission and being in a position of not having control of the situation, worst part you get married in the dream and never in the physical.

3. Rapist’s – they sleep with you by force whenever they feel like it and you have no say or control over.

4. Un-wanted pregnancies – now you see yourself pregnant in the dream by force and giving birth for a demon that rapes you every night! for some physically they don’t even have children.

5. Lying thieves- their mission in your life is they only came to kill, steal and destroy every good thing the Lord has for you.

6. All they want is to destroy marriage’s and block those who are still single not to marry. they know that women were created to be helpers and if homes were peaceful, the world would be a better place and children would be brighter and smarter without having to grow up in a home where parents are enemies. Today children worry more about problems in the house than the parents involved. Homes have become battle fields, the so called spiritual husband are the foundation of the marriage they make all the decisions in the house instead of the almighty God the founder of the Marriage Institution.

I pray for God’s mercy that people may find it easy to run for deliverance. I pray also for my country because those demons have not yet been exposed fully, people don’t even believe in marriage anymore, those who are married infidelity is a daily bread. The man no longer suffer lustful thoughts but rather they are suffering from lustful actions it has become so bad that they can’t control themselves physically! And this has led so many young women to be obsessed with business and their career’s and always putting marriage as the very last option.

The world needs your prayers men of God to restore God’s will in the lives of the people, they need people who will stand up and testify that God is still a match maker and one can still have a divine marriage even in my country and other places in the world suffering from high rates of divorce and single men and women engaging with multiple partners with the excuse of saying “I don’t know which one is my life partner or is from God” what is if i say no to my soul mate?
And all this is the tricks of the enemy because many young people cannot differentiate between a spiritual husband and a husband from God in their dreams besides in our churches we were never taught “the 50 signs he is your husband from God ” like the internet would put it!

Prophet T.B Joshua and the wise men we humbly bring forth this prayer request so that the Lord may lead to prayers to set the people free as for me its been some time now the Lord has lead me to so many homes in my vision to experience the physical pain of divorce and of one partner leaving the wife for another woman without keeping it a secret to the wife or children.
