Eleven Children, One Wife, No Home Living Amidst Refuse And Rubbish For Over Three Years – TB Joshua

A stirring tale of glorious hope shining amidst the dark chasms of despair, of seperation and shame transfromed to unity and peace, of loneliness and homelessness replaced with life and love. Because God was involved…

Beyond the burdening, burgeoning bondage of homelessness, Mr Kefa Olatunji Taiwo had strayed slowly into the hazardous realms of hopelessness. At 60 years old, his family had scattered, any shred of dignity or self-worth left battered – his life in total tatters. Living in a bedraggled and dishevelled excuse for a shed, scantily assorted from stray aluminium and rotting wood, he had dwelt and dealt in the refuse grounds of Lagos, Nigeria for over three agonising years, surrounded by the repulsive stench of decay and debris, and the degrading stigma of a lunatic-like existence. Suicidal tendencies crept increasingly closer…

Living amidst the rubbish...

Living amidst the rubbish…

He suddenly halted before him, sensing something strange.“You are the one I am chasing.” Kefa looked up, astounded, dumbfounded. “Where is your family? Everybody is scattered in your home – and you are sleeping under the bridge, as an elderly man.” Extraodinary. His life-story unfurling uncannily from a man he had never encountered, a man he had never explained his predicament to. “You are getting old, an old man sleeping outside – and the family are scattered. Do you know where your problem comes from? This is what your mummy was telling you. The little money you had, you were going out – sometimes in the night you will not come home. You would take girlfriends. The little you had – you spent it just like that. This has destroyed you, destroyed your career.” How did he know? Whom had he told? “Something happened to you before this thing started. You met a mad woman – you never knew she’s a mad woman, and you slept with the woman. This is where the problem comes from. Today, when you sleep you see animals.” “Exactly, sir”

When Mr Taiwo walked dejectedly into The Synagogue, Church of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday 30th August, unbeknown to him was the unfolding of a divine design to break the chains of poverty and restore the bonds of unity within his crises-fraught family. The prophecy took him by surprise. It was so sudden, so direct, so precise. Pastor TB Joshua narrated his life to him, a brief 30 seconds of breath-taking revelation, a concise uncovering. As he was led through the beautiful sanctuary, a flame of hope licked within his veins. Could it be a way out had actually come?

Just imagine, just consider... what do you have to give?

Just imagine, just consider… what do you have to give?

The following week he stood again before the vast SCOAN auditorium, clips of his ‘home’ broadcast to the world live on Emmanuel TV. Evangelists had accompanied Taiwo to establish the veracity of the prophecy. The crowd gasped, beholding a dank wasteland with pigs scavenging among the filth, dirty infected water up to the knees, slime and grime at every turn. And a human being lived there, slept there, ate there, amidst the clutter and litter of decomposing garbage and gunk. “I’m useless,” the former furniture maker told the evangelists. “I just have to go and hide myself here when it is night. This is a shameful place, but I have no alternative – that’s why I have to stay here, living here as a mad man,” he said, explaining how local hoodlums had burnt his only property to ashes, forcing homelessness upon him.

Accompanied by his estranged wife and 11 children, all suffering a similar fate, Mr Taiwo watched on in reflective silence. “I believe if this man is helped, he will not go back to his past life – because he has tasted suffering and hardship,” said TB Joshua, addressing the whole congregation. “And I know if blessing comes now, he will be able to maintain it. Sometimes God uses foolish things. Don’t be surprised that among these children may be the president of tomorrow. Remember the past history, remember the heroes – many of them were raised from this kind of humble background,” he explained. “The first step is to get accommodation for the family, so we can bring the family together and let them live as one. To liberate these children, we must give them scholarships. And those who want to learn a skill – we will give them that opportunity.” The pastor, famed for his unrivalled and unbridled philanthropic works, explained that if the youths were left to themselves, they would probably end up in armed robbery or prostitution out of frustrations irrationalising influence. “Give them N300,000 and five bags of rice.”

Tears of shock and joy escaped from beneficiaries and congregants alike. Never before had Kefa seen or touched such money. “I didn’t expect this. Thank you, sir,” he quibbled, words failing to form his heart-felt expressions of gratitude. “This is what we are born for, this is what we are to live for, this is what we are to die for,” smiled the prophet, ascribing all glory to God.

“Someone out there is waiting for you for a lifetime,” Joshua counselled the enthralled audience and viewers worldwide. “You cannot afford to fail them; failing them is failing God. Remember, God is speaking to you through them, saying: ‘They are fatherless, so that you can be their father.’ ‘They are lonely, so that you can be their companion.’ ‘They are in want, so that you can be their benefactor.’ ”

MY ‘BULLET-PROOF’ CAR – HEAVENLY PROTECTION

Be encouraged by this remarkable testimony of a Ghanaian man who experienced Heavenly protection when 10 armed bandits attempted to waylay him…

“Emmanuel! My name is Mr. Isaac Dekayie from Ghana and I want to encourage people of God to know the protection we are under as children of the Most High! I was travelling from Ho (Volta Region) to Adenta (Greater Accra Region) using the Akuse Road. Upon getting to Afienya, I decided to go through Afienya to Dodowa en route to Adenta. It was about 8:30pm in the evening. Towards the Dodowa stretch, there is forestry surrounding the road which has many bends and turns. It was dark.

Divine Protection - Anointing Sticker Testimony“Suddenly, a man came out of the bush with a torch light ordering me to stop. There was no other vehicle in sight. Upon getting closer to him, I realised he was not a police officer; he also realised l was not slowing as he expected. Suddenly, he started shouting wildly, “I will kill you! I will kill you!” I heard him clearly because the windows at the front of my car were wound down. His shout did not frighten me and I drove speedily passed him towards a curve in the road. Just after bypassing him, I realised he was not alone! They were up to ten, all carrying torch lights and weapons. Suddenly, I heard a loud volley of gun shots towards my direction. Looking at the Anointing Sticker on my dashboard, I drove on, committing my life into God’s hands. The shooting continued until I had gone round the bend and was no longer in their sights.

“Moments after leaving their place, I looked at my windscreen only to discover several signs of gun shots. Miraculously, none of them penetrated into the car! I called upon the police who rushed to the scene. At the time they got there, the robbers had escaped into the bush leaving some used and unused cartridges. When the police checked my car, they counted up to 32 spots on the car where the bullets had hit. The officers who checked my car were astounded! It was as if my car was bullet-proof! The bullets did not even enter through the open windows at the front of my car. A look at the windscreen shows my Ghana flag as T.B. Joshua had instructed us to keep in our car and our rooms since it has become a contact point for God to use. I also had the Anointing Sticker with the words, ‘Let Love Lead’. I thank God for this deliverance and protection. I am forever grateful to God for saving my life. Thank You, Jesus!”

When We Met TB Joshua,The Most Accused – (Mark’s and Joe Story Part 1)

There is a lot of controversy about TB Joshua, but this man is full of wisdom. All his words I have read today are based on the Word of God. Whilst many spend time criticizing this man, TB Joshua spends his time sharing the Word of God. Can a bad tree bear good fruit?

For many years both people who were once close to Prophet TB Joshua and those whom have never met him have rain so much slur on Prophet TB Joshua, and the most hilarious thing is that, those who claim to be his former associates are now attempting to disgrace him creating Anti SCOAN Blogs to ridicule him– If you are in a perilous situation and you find something good, would you not share it with your friends? Why these attempt to disgrace him? Our Lord Jesus Christ is merciful and He is willing and save whoever comes to Him.

Prophet T.B Joshua
Prophet T.B Joshua

I was so surprised when l came across an article accusing Prophet TB Joshua and his ministry of arranging prophecies and his healing by anti SCOAN Bloggers as well as some TB Joshua’s counterpart in the vineyard.

Prophet TB Joshua has consistently thrived in the midst of his detractors is Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Lagos-Nigeria. This man of God with the gift of accurate prophetic declaration, healing, deliverance and preaching of the Gospel, has stunned the world at large with series of prophetic messages that have turned out to be true and confirmed by the recipients.

The very fact that the popularity of this prophet has soared thanks to much criticism he has received from home and abroad, attests to his many trials. In the past decade, he has been bombarded by claims that he is a false prophet of God. In the midst of these, his continued calm and silence has endeared him to many. Let us all be aware that great men attract great rejection. That is what makes them strong.

The first thing we at TB Joshua Fans UK like to address a comment left on our 2 weeks; is that TB Joshua does NOT call the name of Jesus Christ and his doctrine is NOT of God

Many of you heard rumors that T.B Joshua does not call the name of Jesus or read the bible and without finding out the truth, you judged him. Please watch the footage on this page. Today T.B Joshua has become contentious and probably the most persecuted man of God in the whole world. Little does his persecutors know that their actions have done. As TB Joshua says, persecution is a tonic to the anointing!

T.B. Joshua re-unites a young girl abandoned in 1996

Prophet T.B. Joshua re-unites a young girl abandoned in 1996 at the age of nine over witchcraft allegations with her mother

Oghenefejiro Iworo, a female Urhobo cultural music dancer from Ugheli, Delta was only nine years old in 1996 when she was abandoned by Esther, her mother. Her reason for taking such drastic action against her child was because the little girl was alleged to have belonged to the evil world of witches and wizards.

Wild accusations of witchcraft...

Esther claimed that she consulted a witch doctor in Ughelli who confirmed that her daughter was a witch and was responsible for the hardship and misfortunes she had encountered in life, including separation from her husband.

TB JOSHUA FANS UK BANNER 640 x 480The witch doctor had taken the little girl to her shrine in Eku, tortured her by using a sharp knife to inflict deep cuts on her cheeks. The blood extracted from the deep cuts was then given to the girl to drink before she allegedly confessed that she was a witch.

The witch doctor then warned her mother that unless she disowned her daughter, she would use her power as a witch to kill her. She therefore advised her to take the girl to Badare Wegereva, her mother-in-law whom she alleged to have initiated Oghenefejiro into witchcraft.

Esther who believed what the witch doctor told her about her daughter was angry with her. She, therefore, did not hesitate to take her to her mother-in-law at the Ugheli market where she was trading, called her a witch and left the girl with her. Badare was dumbfounded as she could not understand why her daughter-in-law could publicly call her a witch and even accuse her of initiating Oghenefejiro into the witchcraft world.

Afraid that the little girl could actually be a witch as her mother claimed, Badare equally rejected her and took her to her maternal great grand mother who was in her 80s. Although the aged woman accepted her great grand daughter, she could not take care of her.

The little girl had no option than to become a street urchin. She roamed the streets begging for alms and later joined street kids who taught her how to smoke cigarette and having illicit affairs with men. No matter how Oghenefejiro tried to struggle for survival in life, the stigmatisation and abandonment by her mother continued to haunt her.

However, she later joined an Urhobo cultural dancing group but still lived a wayward lifestyle. It was in the process that she was impregnated by Dafe Iworo, a butcher from Ekakpame, Delta State who married her. Already, Oghenefejiro has given birth to a baby boy.

Unknown to Oghenefejiro’s mother, her decision to disown her own daughter 12 years ago had become a curse to her. Despite the fact that she left Ughelli for Lagos in search of greener pastures, Esther who is a caterer continued to have nightmares as she could not even fend for herself.

She, therefore, decided to seek divine intervention by going to the Synagogue Church of All Nations where T.B Joshua told her that she was suffering from a generational curse because she accused her daughter falsely of being a witch.

He told her that the curse would continue to haunt her until she is reunited with her daughter and begged her for forgiveness over the stigmatisation she was subjected to because of the accusation.

He also told her that the generational curse started from Micheal Akatakpo, her 60 year-old father who was an idol worshipper. Esther admitted that her father had similarly called her a wicth when she was nine years old. She, therefore, had to travel to Ughelli with pastors from the Synagogue Church of All Nations where they searched for her daughter until she was found. She also brought her father to the church where Joshua delivered them from the generational curse.

Joshua said it has become common for some parents to abandon their children in the streets over the allegation that they are witches. He wondered why a mother should subject her own child to such a traumatic experience. “It is rather unfortunate that a mother who carried a child in her womb for nine months or more, laboured to bring her forth, would later stigmatise the child as a witch and throw her away from her home into the street,” he said.

Worried by the trend, Stepping Stones, a UK registered charitable organisation is working in conjunction with the Child Rights and Rehabilitation Network, CRARN, to transform the lives of children who have been stigmatised as witches and wizards.

Gary Foxcroft, programme director, Stepping Stones Nigeria, said their aims are to tackle the problems of ignorance and superstitious belief in child-witchcraft as well as eradicate the torture of children stigmatised as witches.

ABILITY IN DISABILITY TB JOSHUA CHARITY

ABILITY IN DISABILITY

One of the events of the day was the giving of scholarships to various physically challenged students who are part of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Scholarship Scheme. The students were given different sums of

money according to their various scholastic needs, totalling N3 million. They included the blind, crippled, deformed and amputees. One of the spokespersons of the group, Olurundere Adenike, said she had no support for education, and when admitted to the University of Lagos, she had dropped out for lack of funds. However, she eventually gained admission to the University of Ibadan to read Languages and English, requesting assistance from Prophet T.B. Joshua and Emmanuel TV Partners to pursue her academic dreams of excellence. Also, Emmanuel Aderemi, a student of Political Science, University of Lagos, also spoke on the uniqueness of the opportunity given them to be part of the Scholarship program. The service was concluded in a fiery Mass Prayer in which the finger of God Almighty manifested mightily among the congregants. As the Prophet remarked, what a God we have to worship, what a son we have to praise and what a future lies before us. To those whose lives are centred in Christ Jesus, better is not good enough; the best is yet to come.

HEALED OF BARRENNESS FOR FIVE YEARS THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER -TB JOSHUA

Mr and Mrs Oluyomi with their baby testifying at the SCOAN

They came to The SCOAN in August and saw how people had received their healings through the medium of the Anointing Water. They were opportuned to get the Anointing Water and after prayer and ministration, his wife became pregnant that same month. Before then, they had visited many hospitals, spiritualists and pastors for solution but weren’t successful. Today, the couple is blessed with a baby girl. His wife confirmed how she saw the prophet praying for her and her child in her dreams on several occasions throughout her pregnancy. Mr Mayomi advised people to always believe in God and trust in Him.

Prophet T.B. Joshua addressed the congregation after the testimonies, saying, “If you cannot trust God without medicine, you cannot trust Him with medicine. If you cannot trust God in your challenges, in whatever situation you are facing, when will you trust Him?”

The SCOAN Live Sunday Service witnessed huge attendance by worshippers from all over the world. Hundreds of people came out to testify to the goodness of God upon their lives.

WIFE WAS HEALED OF A MENTAL DISORDER THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER – TB JOSHUA

He recalled the genesis of his wife’s mental ordeal and said that no one could identify the cause of the problem. He observed the sudden abnormality in his wife’s behavior once when he visited her shop. She broke glasses, bit him and displayed a high level of aggression. She had to be rushed to the psychiatric centre where she was diagnosed with a mental disorder. Despite the series of injections given to her for four days to calm her down, the dementia remained. Mr Kadiri said that he then remembered the great works of God in The SCOAN, particularly how God was transforming the lives of people suffering from different health challenges through the mediums of Prophet T.B. Joshua, the Wise Men and the Anointing Water. He decided to visit The SCOAN for solution.

He received the Anointing Water, read the testimonies in the Anointing Water booklet, prayed and ministered it to his wife. Immediately, she fell asleep and when she woke up, she requested for food – a tacit attestation to her mental normalcy. He said that when they returned to see the doctors at the psychiatric centre, they showed bewildered expressions on their faces and asked of where they could also get the Anointing Water. He presented a certified medical report which showed that his wife was now completely normal. Asked to comment on her healing, Mrs Deborah Kadiri said she couldn’t understand what happened to her but found herself at the psychiatric hospital with water on her face. She said that when she slept, she saw Prophet T.B. Joshua in her dream and he said, “My daughter, you will not suffer. It is over”. She said that it was later that she found out that the water on her face was the Anointing Water. She advised people to always have faith in God.

HEALED OF DIABETES THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER -TB JOSHUA

The Sunday Service kicked off with amazing illustrations of God’s mercy as numerous people received their healing and deliverance at The SCOAN Prayer Line. A million thanks are not enough to Jesus Christ for the miraculous testimonies that follow:

He had suffered from diabetes for three years and had used both orthodox and unorthodox medicine, none of which

cured the disease. His health condition became worse as reflected in the following symptoms: persistent urination (25 times before dawn), loss of weight, mental imbalance and high sugar level of 680mmol. He said he came to The SCOAN and was opportuned to receive the Anointing Water. He ministered it after he had prayed and read the testimonies in the Anointing Water Booklet. Astonishingly, his high sugar level dropped from 680mmol to 78mmol, signifying a miraculously high reduction rate. Feeling that he no longer needed to regulate his blood sugar, he went to consult his doctor. The doctor tested him again and the result revealed that his sugar level was at 6.2mmol – clear evidence that he no longer had diabetes. He advised that people should look unto God when they are sick. His wife, Azeez Mudi also confirmed his health ordeal, particularly his frequent urination and loss of weight which orchestrated persistent visitation to hospitals and herbal homes. She advised wives to help their husbands trust in God in hours of need.
