This is an official message from The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) regarding US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a travel ban on visitors from European countries to America over the coronavirus outbreak.
On 28th December 2019, TB Joshua released his prophetic message for 2020 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6aJL…). He said, “This year will be a year of humility. This year, the Lord will humble us with our challenges. Challenges can be affliction, disease, sickness etc. To humble us with these is for those things to destroy us or expose us. Let us move closer to God.”
The same message said regarding the world economy: “Agriculture will help the economy because the economy will have a backlash….”
Specifically, concerning America, he said: “America should invest more in agriculture because their economy will be affected. The economy they see today will be affected, so they should invest in agriculture and encourage the farmers.”
The prophecy was given in parables, with the wisdom of God. What is affecting the economy today? COVID-19 (coronavirus).
The same message said, “Many sicknesses and diseases that leaders have been treating privately will surface this year.”
According to the US National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, China had this issue for several months and had been treating it silently. He said, “Unfortunately, rather than using best practices, this outbreak in Wuhan was covered up…. This probably cost the world community two months to respond.” Today, it has surfaced – as TB Joshua predicted.
The prophecy continued, “They will become bedridden and many will not make it.” Indeed, this is exactly what is happening.
The same prophecy said, “Pray for unity and understanding among the British Royal Family – because of what I am seeing.” Days later, Prince Harry announced he was stepping down from his duties in the Royal Family.
The same man – TB Joshua – is hereby telling President Donald Trump: “This travel ban on flights from Europe will cause a backlash. It will affect the American economy the more and also the world economy. It will also affect the forthcoming election in America – in one way or another. The travel ban is not the best way to stop the spread of coronavirus. The initial measures America put in place are the best way – they just need to be reinforced. Coronavirus is fear and fear lingers in the air. Fear does not need to fly to America or any other country on a plane before being contracted. In conclusion, we are on our knees praying. The noise of coronavirus will be silenced before the end of this month – March 2020.”
I am not the public relations officer of Prophet T.B. Joshua neither am I the communications director of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations, SCOAN. Above all, I am neither a Yoruba, which TB Joshua is, nor a member of his church, SCOAN.
I am just a Nigerian who must speak out when it is necessary for him to do so. A Nigerian, who, out of the fear of God, must always speak out on matters of national importance, rather than hide under the facade of innocence to allow things go wrong.
That said, I want to use this opportunity to advise all those Nigerians, including some so-called men and women of God, who criticize Prophet T. B. Joshua and SCOAN unjustly and jealously, to shut up their dirty and stinking mouth and ‘face their warrant.’ NO APOLOGY, WHATSOEVER!
You may be wondering why I am talking tough or hard. I’ll tell you why.
I have been observing, listening, and reading the funny and false stories that some jealous people, especially Nigerians, peddle about the person of T. B. Joshua and his church, SCOAN, without anybody cautioning them.
Meanwhile, the same persons cannot watch and listen to other people talk bad about Pastors E.A. Adeboye, W.F Kumuyi, D. K. Odukoya, Chris Oyakhilome, David Oyedepo, among others, without them standing up to condemn or fight for their idols in their absence.
Does anybody think that T. B. Joshua’s silence on the negative things people say against him is a sign of cowardice on his part? It is not! Instead, it is a proof of his wisdom from above. Anybody who thinks otherwise, should better have a rethink or have his or her head re-examined.
I think it is high time I said something concerning the way some Nigerians speak evil about T. B. Joshua and his church, SCOAN. I am going to say it without looking at faces. This is not a matter of being disrespectful, but a matter of the understanding of the leading of the Holy Spirit.
The first time I heard about T. B. Joshua was in 1994 or 1995. Then, he was just starting out his church at the Agodo area of Egbe, near Ikotun. Then, yours sincerely was living on Thomas Animashaun Street in the Aguda area of Surulere, Lagos.
The gentleman from whose mouth I heard about T. B. Joshua for the first time, said so many unprintable things about the man. He also lied that T. B. Joshua buried so many human beings alive in his church in order to get the power he was using to perform those rare miracles, whose news are everywhere in the world.
Because of those stories, which I later discovered to be baseless, I swore never to go near T. B. Joshua, let alone attending his church. Even when some of my cousins, who were members of his church invited me to come with them to the church, I refused to accompany them there.
In 2015, something happened that forced me to attend SCOAN. By that time, Prophet T. B. Joshua had relocated his church to its present permanent site at Ikotun, near Egbe.
The younger brother of a friend of mine, who was based in Europe, visited Nigeria for an important mission, but could not return to Europe, even when he made every attempt to do so. The reason for his inability to return to Europe, he didn’t know.
After watching Emmanuel Television, owned by SCOAN, the frustrated young man decided to visit SCOAN, without anybody preaching to him or forcing him to go there. He got there and got exactly the solution he needed to solve his problem.
On the day of his testimony at SCOAN, he invited me to accompany him there, and I obliged him. I went there not because I wanted to please him, but to satisfy my curiosity of all the evil stories I’ve heard about the place.
We got to the church premises at some minutes past 4 A.M. and were directed to the Overflow Church. We waited there until some minutes past 6 A.M. when we were ushered into the main auditorium of the church.
I was afraid when I stepped my feet into the main church. I was afraid because I thought that those negative stories, which I had heard about the place might come after me. Unfortunately for those rumourmongers, who were bent in destroying the good image of T. B. Joshua and SCOAN, that never happened.
After my friend’s younger brother had returned to his base in Europe, I decided to visit SCOAN on my own. I went there six times on my own, making it a total of seven times that I went there.
In all my visits and research about T. B. Joshua and SCOAN, I am yet to find them wanting in any of those areas that they were constantly accused of. Instead, I have been blessed for going there, more than most other righteous churches have ever blessed me with.
SCOAN is the church in Nigeria that cares about the poor and other less-privileged people more than any other church in Nigeria. Keep your proofs while I keep mine, until the time to show proofs comes.
SCOAN is the only church in Nigeria with the largest heart of advertising juicy job vacancies for everybody, including unbelievers and members of other churches to benefit from.
SCOAN is the only or the first church in Nigeria to be recognized by the United Nations, UN, in terms of providing employment and helping the poor and other less privileged. I was at SCOAN on the very day some UN representatives visited the church to thank T. B. Joshua and SCOAN for creating jobs and for caring for the poor and other less-privileged people of our society, without partiality.
SCOAN is the Nigerian church where miracles, signs and wonders take place more than in any other church in Nigeria.
SCOAN is the last bus-stop for Christians, from all over the world, who have gone to other churches for solution to their problems without success.
SCOAN is the only church in Nigeria where the giving of offering and paying of tithe is not sang as a song, as is done in most other churches in Nigeria. Apart from forcing people to pay tithe, some churches in Nigeria even keep registers of tithe-payers. What a joke!
SCOAN is the only church in Nigeria that you’ll attend without being ashamed of not giving offering or paying your tithe, when it is very glaring that you don’t have to give or to pay. This is because nobody would bother you or look at you as the poorest man on earth.
SCOAN is the only church in Nigeria, which does not waste its members’ offering and tithe on printing fliers, banners and billboards, yet hundreds of thousands of people, from all walks of life, find their way there to worship.
SCOAN is the church that has the highest number of worshipers from other countries of the world, every Sunday.
SCOAN is the church in Nigeria that promote the tourism policy of our government more than any other church, and yet, does not ask for payment or to be appreciated for doing so.
SCOAN is the only or the first among the few churches in Nigeria, where their pastors would say to their newcomers: “Get what you came here for and go back to your church and worship God there.” Pastors in other churches would do everything to make sure that every newcomer that comes to their church does not return to the church, where he or she came from.
SCOAN is the only or the first among the few churches in Nigeria that does not advertise or fight for members, yet its population keep increasing, day after day.
SCOAN is the most popular church in Nigeria, in the eyes of people from other nations of the world. If SCOAN is the most popular Nigerian church in the eyes of billions of people from other countries, who are the few millions of Nigerians that would think otherwise?
SCOAN is the only or the first on the list of few churches in Nigeria where pastors do not criticize pastors of other churches unjustly or jealously.
SCOAN is the only church in Nigeria where you can be for several hours without getting bored and hungry to go home. This is unlike most other churches in Nigeria, where worshipers tell their pastors when to end the service and where worshipers are free to leave the church before the end of the service, on account of boredom.
Which one will I say and which one will leave out? In spite of all these pluses in favour of SCOAN, many uninformed Nigerians still call it a place of occult and fake powers.
The most annoying part of this is that some men and women of God, whose only job in Nigeria and in other places where they have branches, is to collect offering and tithes, also have the guts to speak evil of T. B. Joshua and SCOAN; the church that change lives and change nations.
In case you’re not a man or woman of God, please, help me ask those men and women of God who run their mouths like a faulty faucet whenever T. B. Joshua and SCOAN are mentioned, what they have done for Nigeria and for humanity in general. If any, let them list them just as I have just listed those of T. B. Joshua and SCOAN above.
I am not surprised that some Nigerians can say what they say about T. B. Joshua and SCOAN because the Pharisees and other unbelievers say worse things about Jesus, the Saviour of the whole world. If they could do that to God Himself, who then, is T. B. Joshua and SCOAN?
The most annoying thing about all this is that most of the people who speak evil about T. B. Joshua and SCOAN have never stepped their feet into SCOAN nor conduct a research about T. B. Joshua and SCOAN. Why, then, do they choose to die in ignorance?
Why would a reasonable man and woman, including the educated, believe and go about saying “Dem say, dem say?” Isn’t it shameful on their own part?
Why were they sent to school? Is it not to use their brains better than those who had no opportunity of going to school? Why then, are they disgracing and advertising their ignorance?
I can never tell you what I did not see or hear. If I have not seen or heard, I’ll tell you so, instead of peddling rumours and falsehood.
So, those people speaking evil of T. B. Joshua and SCOAN should first visit SCOAN before talking rubbish or they themselves would become the rubbish that they speak.
I don’t want to get angry and start mentioning names here. But since T. B. Joshua is the only house of occult in Nigeria, how many other men and women of God, who claim to be saints or most-righteous, are sure to make heaven, with all the noise that they and their members make?
For those of us who are not ‘professional’ pastors, why do we allow some of these ‘professional’ pastors who live on us and who claim to be the best deceive us? Why? Why? Why?
I challenge anybody, including other ‘most righteous’ men and women of God who feel that T. B. Joshua is a devil to do one-fiftieth of what T. B. Joshua does. If they can do it, Nigeria and indeed, the world, would be a better place for all of us to live, because poverty and the high rate of crime would go down.
Can the whole world be wrong about T. B. Joshua and SCOAN, while only a few Nigerians are right about them? If NO, why all these sorts of destructive criticisms?
Finally, I have an advice for all those Nigerians, including some men and women of God, who talk dirty of T. B. Joshua and SCOAN: Why not remove the log in your own eyes first before attempting to remove the speck in T. B. Joshua’s eyes.
Lest I forget, why are you not ashamed of yourself? You have been talking bad about somebody for several years now and the person seems not to be bothered by what you say about him. Isn’t that enough for you keep your dirty and stinking mouth shut and ask yourself: “Is all that I have been saying about T. B Joshua and SCOAN really true?
A word, they say, is enough for the wise. Those who have ears let them hear.
The concepts of deliverance and healing may not be new to Christians who have quite a significant knowledge of the Word, the breath of God. The notion of becoming born-again (a spirit of newness and radical transformation) is derived from the experience of deliverance. And every Christian wants to be seen as being delivered; born of water and Holy Spirit and become anew in his/her relationship with God. Deliverance has to be perfect; it should be a new experience which comes when a man is separated from unholiness and impurities of life. It is generally understood as a process of separation between light and darkness; it brings about a distance between light and darkness. It has to do with renewed cordiality with Jesus, the symbol of light, who must quench the ignoble traffic of blindness, evil, darkness, and spiritual terrorism in people.
Delivered and free
During a recent Sunday service, Prophet T.B. Joshua had tried to explain in detail what deliverance means. He said the spirit of darkness has to engage the world that it is obvious that it has become an object of worship to some. It is in recognition of the power of darkness that deliverance must be practically potent. Darkness is responsible for bad leadership, family disunity, greed, insubordination, immorality and attachment to the idols, to name a few instances. Most kids involved in cultism, rape, stealing and drugs are propelled by forces of darkness, but so are the elders, the parents who have polluted the political, economic and social space in society. People are in bondage today as seen in marital unhappiness, lack of innate peace, and quest for satanic powers; many people are jobless, hopeless and helpless because they are trapped.
One point which Prophet Joshua made clear is that it is quite possible for a man to confess God and still be in bondage, unless a permanent deliverance occurs in the life of such a person. The knowledge of God is not sufficient for man, but the ability to have God’s Spirit. He has said repeatedly that “not only must we have God’s Word in order to be born again, or to become a pastor; we must have God’s Spirit”.
This seems to be a response to the fact that most people who claim to have been delivered, and have become born again, are in truth very far from the orientation. Their deliverance has been most suspect, hollow and spiritually inconsequential. Such deliverance happened by words of the mouth and lacks spiritual potency and celestial grace. Most pastors who engage in delivering and healing people these days are themselves in need of the same process – they are gripped and menaced by the devil. Satan is cunning and hypocritical, and has his own ways of instilling his presence in the lives of people. For the Kingdom of Light to have impact on people, their spiritual life has to be operated upon, to remove the filths and impurities planted in them by satan. This is the essence of deliverance.
This is why Prophet Joshua speaks often that there are two kinds of pastors: there are those who commit the words of God into memory, and teach and preach with same (most of the modern pastors belong here as they have the ability to quote extensively without the necessary authority to achieve their mission). The second group is for pastors “who can move mountains”; those who commit the Word into their hearts (by making same an integral part of themselves). They know of God’s ways; they act with God, and know His opinion about themselves and others. And “when something is part of you, it dictates to you; it is your director. When you memorize, you will confess but not from your belief”, the prophet has said.
He also established that before something becomes one’s belief, it must become an integral part of the person, as “our faith is in our heart”. He said in a contest between light and darkness, light must have victory, which is what deliverance is. He said that these days “people are not sure of themselves again”, for they may be in the arms of evil forces and yet proclaim the almightiness of God. This is true, as seen in the examples of many pastors (with ministries or churches) who had negative, influencing spirits coming to The SCOAN and other living churches to receive deliverance.
He said while 20% of the people are ignorant of such evil forces, 70% of them are aware. However, the problem has always been how to combat same. Most deliverances in many places are not thorough, sincere, effective and God-inspired. Indeed, not all those who call the name of the Lord, and do His will, will enter the Kingdom of God. Deliverance is therefore, an integral part of belief; it is the preamble to the exercise of that belief. Without it, belief is sheer dramatics. He said: “Our lives are not what we confess” as we often confess blessing but experience poverty; confess breakthroughs but experience stagnation and failure. Words said without adequate form of deliverance are a package in empty encounters. He said: “No one can say, Jesus is Lord genuinely unless he is genuinely delivered”, and that “our God is Spirit; those who confess Him must do so in Spirit and truth”.
Deliverance is associated with the use of power because as Prophet Joshua said, “Divine nature must be of holiness”. You have no control of your divine nature”. In other words, “If you yield to light, light takes control of your divine nature”; no man can use the power given by the Holy Spirit at his own will; it has to be by the will of the Father. And such power will have to be original, and not a photocopy. The use of original power must lead to true deliverance because “if you are praying and not delivered, it’s like you are calling your father at home,” said Prophet Joshua.
The problem, nowadays, is that rather than recognizing the different graces bestowed upon each other, denominational difference are rather projected in Christianity. As such occurs, love is killed, faith is brutalized and deliverances become hollow and impotent of effect. Some Christians have seen churches as running a race; they speak of the number of worshippers rather that those being truly saved. Yet, the apostles of Jesus worked as one; they acted in oneness to achieve great effects as recorded in the Holy Bible. Joshua preaches today that the gifts of God may be enjoyed if churches are interdependent and pastors believe in collective approach to God through true deliverance. Today, people are departing from the way of the Lord, and “people should avoid being wasted”, he emphasised.
“God deserves our best because He gives us His best. Therefore, what we cherish most becomes our best offering in terms of time, effort, strength, knowledge, money, love and every good thing the Lord has given us. Abraham gave his best and God continued the supplies. The widow gave her best and God continued the supplies. Making sacrifice means considering God first, from whom all you have comes, before self because whatsoever you do to the least of your fellow brothers, that you do unto God (Matthew 25:40).
“Our union with Christ is the basis for our unity with one another. Do to others as you would want them to do unto you. What are you doing to others? Remember, what you are doing to others, that you are doing unto God.
“The poor widow said in 1 Kings 17:12, ‘I swear in the name of God that I have nothing but the little for my son and me’. She really had lost all hope of further provision. But Elijah said to her, ‘You can still spare out of it for me’ (1 Kings 17:13). This means, nothing is too small to share with others. This means, every man has something, big or small, to plant.
“When we plant, we reap more of whatever we plant. It can be in the form of love, favour, money or any material thing you need to live for God. The poor widow planted something her life depended on, something she cherished. It took her boldness to step out and take God at His Word. I mean, it took her faith to meet such a situation. You who say you do not have enough to spare, remember the poor widow. You don’t receive because you don’t give. When you give, you don’t receive because you give wrongly (James 4:2-3). How do we give wrongly? We give wrongly when we give unworthily, when we give only to be seen by men.
“If you give to people because you expect them to give you in return, you give wrongly. When I give out worn-out shoes, that is not sacrifice. When I give out what I do not need, that is not sacrifice. When I go to a place at a time I really do not have any serious business to attend to, that is not a sacrifice. When you have a serious personal matter to attend to and you leave that aside to attend to your friend’s matter, that is a sacrifice.
“As people sit down in the church today, to many, they are sacrificing their time. But I tell you the truth, if someone had received a phone call this morning inviting them to come and collect a cheque for the contract they had earlier executed, such a person would give priority to that rather than going to the church. Many go to church because they really don’t have any serious personal matter to attend to.
“People of the world believe that there is more gain in receiving than in giving because they want clear gain – clear gain in terms of naira, dollars, pounds. For example, if you are telling people of the world that coming to church would bring the peace of the Lord, once that peace, to them, cannot be quantified in terms of naira, dollars, pounds, it means nothing to them.
“Let us not forget that Jesus knows our heart and the motive behind our giving. He knows when you give for God’s sake. He knows when you give only to be seen by men.”
Hopeless. Depressed. Immobile. Confined to a wheelchair. This is the description of Mrs Caroline Onyeneke’s past 10 years. What started as an innocent domestic accident ended up placing an enormous burden on the Onyeneke family. Formerly an active woman who enjoyed cooking for her grandsons, her son and running the household, Mrs Onyeneke was confined to the use of a wheelchair and was bound to laying on her bed. After multiple visits to various hospitals, she was not given any permanent solution; instead an operation was recommended. With nowhere else to turn, Mrs Onyeneke decided The SCOAN would be her final solution-ground.
Last week Sunday, Mrs Onyeneke came with her son – Mr Reginald Chibueze Onyeneke – to seek prayers from Prophet T.B. Joshua. During a quiet moment as everyone listened attentively to Prophet T.B. Joshua’s sermon, Mr Onyeneke cried out: “Man of God, have mercy! My mother is on a wheelchair, help me!” Prophet T.B. Joshua moved by the plea responded: “If it is the will of God for your mother to receive her healing today she will”.
During the mass prayer, Prophet T.B. Joshua instructed the son to go and pray for his mother. “I followed the man of God’s instructions and prayer points word for word. First he told me to kiss and hug my mom. He later gave me the prayer point: ‘Every damaged organ – begin to function!’ Suddenly my mother stood up!” Mr Onyeneke gleefully said.
Mrs Onyeneke said she can now walk freely, move up and down the stairs, cook for her family and do the things she could not do for the past decade! She advised everyone: “Have faith and believe in the Word of God!”
People of God, have your circumstances ever pressed you to doubt God’s promises? Have you ever been tempted to ask, “Does God hear me? Does God love me? If God loves me, why do I have all these challenges?”
The lives of believers in both the old and new testaments testify that being faithful to God does not eliminate adversity. That you are a Christian, a pastor, an evangelist does not mean you will not be exposed to things that are not consistent with God’s Word. There will be a time to laugh, a time to cry, a time for war and a time for peace, a time to face temptation and a time to overcome. What time are you in? It is necessary for your forward movement in Christ.
In Romans 5:3-5, the apostle tells us, “…we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance and perseverance, character and character, hope. now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us”.
There can be no victory without a battle. There can be no harvest without planting. There can be no resurrection without a death. Remember, when times are stable and the sea is calm and secure, no one is really tested. Pass your test and move on, in Jesus’ name!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me grace in accepting adversity and enduring every pain so that I may learn what I should know, my grief to turn to gain.
BEYOND OFFENCE, Evangelist Annette urged Christians all over the world to rise above the mundane strictures of holding on to offence. Citing the story of Joseph who was sold into slavery by his brothers yet did not hold a grudge against them even when he became Prime Minister of Egypt, she admonished all to embrace forgiveness and look up to God, beyond offence. “Beyond offence, there God is,” she submitted.
She described offence as a terrible tool used by satan to imprison God’s children. “Offence is a trap, an effective instrument used by satan to trap you, imprison you and make you a bond servant.” Concluding, she called on Christians to be on their guard and follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ who chose forgiveness even when He had the power to curse those who tormented and murdered Him on the cross for no offence of His own.
“There is a strange man in our midst,” the man of God Prophet T.B. Joshua said. He pointed out the man from a distance and prophesied that he sees blood – human blood – in him. “Do you eat human flesh?” the man of God asked directly. “Yes, I eat human flesh fresh,” the man admitted without a blink. What followed was a violent manifestation of the demonic spirit of cannibalism in the man after the man of God touched and prayed for him in the power of the Holy Spirit. The man explained that this problem started when he was young and his mother served him meat from an unknown source. Growing up, he realised that he had an unquenchable urge to murder and eat the flesh of human beings.
In exposing his practice, he confessed he would dig a deep pit in his house which he would cover with a couch, lure people home and offer them a seat. He would then push his unsuspecting visitor inside; if the fall did not kill them, he would kill them and immediately eat their flesh. He said he used to burn many witchcraft items and shrines in order to increase his demonic powers.
He also confessed that if someone died in the community, he and his fellow cannibals would go to the cemetery at night, dig up the dead body and feast on it in a ghoulish manner. On numerous occasions, he was arrested when family members of the bodies he had dug up and eaten suspected him and reported him to the police. He had also been arrested several times on account of murder.
He said the urge had pushed him to do things beyond human comprehension and that it was when he discovered Emmanuel TV in Uganda that he decided to come to The SCOAN to seek deliverance from his gory appetite. Prophet T.B. Joshua delivered him in the name of Jesus Christ.
The sirens blazed. Helicopters hovered. An elite troop of special agents steadily surrounded the house. There was no escape in sight. Flushing the remaining cocaine steadily down the drain, Mr Muyideen braced himself for the inevitable. Fearlessly brandishing his multiple firearms, he threatened the police below that if they dared move, he would jump to his death. Jump he did…
At a tender age, Mr Shittu Muyideen was initiated into a world of devilry. His father, who belonged to a secret cult, gave him the deadly mark of a scorpion on his arm – a symbol of demonic power which would ultimately lead him down a path of untold destruction. As the only son of his father, who had 16 wives and 47 other daughters, he was a fighter from day one.
In school, he could beat up 20-30 grown men at a go. That spirit of violence led him to fearlessly travel abroad and engage in a life of criminality to extreme degrees. Traversing from Nigeria to Libya, he crossed the ocean in a makeshift boat to arrive unceremoniously in Italy. It was there that the wickedness of the devil’s plans for his life began to fully hatch.
Dealing in drugs and human trafficking, Muyideen, known then as ‘CK’, became a friend of Europe’s most deadly and dangerous. “I would sell human beings without a trace,” he admitted. “I would sell young women to old men,” he explained, adding that the women concerned would later ‘drug’ such men into willing their entire belongings to them. CK would take fifty percent.
Arrested during one such shady operation, he was imprisoned but through “Mafia connections”, he was quickly released and relocated to Germany. There, Muyideen became a notorious ‘drug baron’. His methods of human smuggling became more advanced, this time arranging marriages for naïve German locals with men who would quickly divorce thereafter and take money from the inevitable proceedings. He even conned physically challenged women by promising to provide husbands – who would leave them shortly after concluding marital nuptials.
Escaping prison again in Germany, he went to the US where he affiliated himself with a notorious drug lord and his gang. With the proceeds from his dubious activities, he bought properties in different states in the US and married a Norwegian banker with whom he had two kids. When asked where he was getting his money from, he told her that his father was a wealthy king in Africa!
However, one day his wife opened a package that was delivered to their house and she was horrified to find cocaine hidden therein. Shocked, his wife reported to the police who quickly surrounded his house. Jumping from a balcony, Muyideen was caught by a net dropped by the helicopter and hauled into custody. Deported back to Nigeria, the drug baron never relented in crime. Moving to Ghana, he began to co-ordinate human trafficking activities to countries around the world.
It was in the midst of this that ‘CK’ discovered Emmanuel TV. Deciding to visit The SCOAN, his encounter with Prophet T.B. Joshua was nothing short of remarkable. The demon within him was wickedly exposed at the touch of the man of God, confessing the havoc it had wreaked in his life and the destruction it had caused him to do. After deliverance, the sober man tearfully admitted that satan had used him to destroy so many lives in the past, calling on people to embrace Christ fully as the only way to enjoy life in abundance.
God and His ability to tackle whatever cares they brought before His mighty presence. The musical interludes from the choir added flavour to the occasion and the words of exhortation in Evangelist Bolaji’s message provoked visible introspection amongst congregants. Titled DIVINE APPOINTMENT,
the message centred on the vicissitudes of Christian life which in itself has never been a bed of roses right from the days of Abraham. According to Evangelist Bolaji, though we have perfect expectations as Christians, we must not lose faith and courage when such expectations hit the rocks
of uncertainty, trials and temptations. “Even the seeming perfect plan we make for the future usually encounters some accident that makes it seem as if we never made any plans at all,” she said.
She admonished Christians not to entertain the mind-set that God does not love them whenever they are experiencing a trial of their faith, adding that, “It is the mind of God to answer prayer. God is still saying something which you may not understand because of your limitation in the things of the Spirit”. Making several biblical analogies, Evangelist Bolaji reminded Christians that God does not make mistakes in His timing. He knows everything and will always do things in His own time. Using the story of Peter and his fishing misadventure as an example, she told congregants that an encounter with Jesus would turn their disappointment to a divine appointment just as it did for Peter who made a remarkable catch after he met the Master and went ahead to become a fisher of men.
The internet has become practically flooded with diverse views on TB Joshua and SCOAN
especially; we intend to correct the critics of the ministry of TB Joshua and to let you know the truth from the many lies published on the internet especially by ex-follower Bisola Johnson who was not sincere during her stay with Prophet TB Joshua at the SCOAN. I am not surprised about Bisola Johnson’s outbursts on recent rape allegations about TB Joshua which I find absurd.
You Bisola has persisted in your quest to make a point that you knew TB Joshua? You have left Adelaja now and gone to Asabe Africa TV to continue with your campaign of calumny. You keep saying you want to release the captives while you are in captivity of bigotry and absurdity.
You seem to be hell bent on making more money from your book that is no more selling? You even wanted to ride on the issue of Timi Dakolo’s wife’s case. Did anyone listen to your recurring decimal?
Please I implore you not to stop, continue till…………
All the people you keep mentioning in your videos are still in the church and you must be ready to face a lot of impending legal battles ranging from slander to defamation of character. Hope you sell a lot of your books to pay damages! You can be assured of this. Get ready!
In her message titled SUCCESS BEGINS WITH BOLDNESS, Evangelist Anne encouraged Christians to brace up for the uncertainties of life by standing firm and bold in the face of adversity so that God’s will in their lives will come to pass. She referred to the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – the three Hebrew men who called the bluff of King Nebuchadnezzar who had insisted that they must bow to the golden image.
She observed that by their adamant refusal to do the bidding of the Babylonian King, they brought God onto the scene and that was why even when they were thrown into the fiery furnace, nothing happened to them. According to her, such display of boldness should be the hallmark of a true Christian. She however bemoaned the attitude of people who call themselves Christians whereas fear dominates their heart. “God has not given us the spirit of fear but the spirit of sunshine”, she added.
She further stated that it is what we believe and confess as Christians that defines our standing before God. Just as the three Hebrew men stood their grounds against the orders of King Nebuchadnezzar, believing that their God would come to their rescue (and even going to the extent of saying that if their God does not show up, they still would not bow to that lifeless image), the true Christian is expected to be bold to the end even in the face of the gravest danger.
Concluding, she reminded Christians that success in the race of life depends on how they make use of their heart: “Our heart is the contact and communication point for the Holy Spirit or satan, depending on who you give your attention to.” She therefore urged them to confess positively at all times, irrespective of the challenges they may be facing, adding that “Many find themselves bowing to the pressure and tension of everyday living” when they should have known that “Life never closes the door to opportunity” for those who stand firm in Christ. For such people, SUCCESS BEGINS WITH BOLDNESS!
Mrs Nicoline Ngwei’s diagnosis was not cheering at all. “You have a critical kidney problem,” her doctor had told her. The Camerounian mother of five had been feeling very weak and would vomit whatever she ate. She could not take care of her children as she watched life ebb out of her. However, she believed in God’s power to heal her, so she began ministering The New Morning Water and praying as she ingested the water. In time, she found herself getting better. Excited about the development, she went to the doctor, who tested her again and declared her healed. “When you use this Morning Water, use it with faith and you will be the next testifier,” she advised the church this morning.
“I lost my dad when I was young. I didn’t go to school. I didn’t have any certificates. I used to wonder how I would make it,” stated Mr Frank Gogo. The Ghanaian further explained how when growing up, he was carted around from one uncle to another. “My prayer was that my family should not go through what I faced.”
After struggling through childhood, Mr Gogo tried to establish himself in the area of estate development but nothing sold. Whenever he took customers to the prospective properties, they would look at his dilapidated car and not believe the houses he was selling were genuine.
Eventually Mr Gogo came to The SCOAN for God to intervene. He received the Morning Water which he ministered to himself and his land and immediately he saw a change. Customers began to believe him and buy the properties in his care. Upon seeing the effect, Mr Gogo would fill big water bottles, minister the Morning Water inside it and he would carry it on him when he showed customers around, sprinkling it on the ground! Mr Gogo also had a dream in which he saw Prophet T.B. Joshua handing him a big fish. After this, his breakthrough came in a big way.
“I was formerly living a low level life; now I have a beautiful house and I have three businesses. I am the first person in my family to buy not only a car but also two trucks and an SUV! “God has done a lot for me; He can do it for you too!” Mrs Gogo added, “It’s been the grace of God; I just want to thank God for everything.”
