RE: TB Joshua Took Advantage of me – Jim Iyke

Jim Iyke’s Deliverance

My beloved Jim, I watched the video of your interview on Channels TV and I fully understand your frustration. No one is offended by your comments in the interview and my reply is not in any way met to condemn you but to tell you the truth as a token of my love.

I really don’t share the belief that you may have been contacted by the Prophet enemies and they have induced you with some benefits to say whatever you are saying right now or you are trying to save face because you have been made to believe that your encounter with God 4years ago was an embarrassment. But I am however surprised about your sudden change because you were actually the one defending your deliverance and was so excited that you had such a great encounter with God in the SCOAN.

Putting every doubts and speculation aside, I, however, think that your present frustration is a manifestation of your wrong belief system about the things of God and also your perception of T.B Joshua’s ministry. You said even if it was in hell there was a cure for your mum’s sickness, you would have go there and you also said you found the deliverance in the SCOAN laughable and your sister has to pinch you to tell you to stop. Those statements have much to say about your belief system.

These show that you neither understand the ways of God nor have faith in Him.  Your coming to the SCOAN to seek the face of God was based on a condition, “you must heal my mother”. T.B. Joshua is a man of God that works under the supervision of the Holy Ghost he is not a native doctor or a spiritualist that treat sick people. The healings and deliverance that take place in the SCOAN are for the salvation of your soul. You would not have bothered coming to the SCOAN since your motive was just for healing and not for your salvation. Instead, you would have gone to see a doctor or a spiritualist that may promise you instant healing.

If your faith in God is based on a condition that is not faith, you don’t condition God by saying, “I am coming to you so you can heal and bless me.” Meaning if God did not heal and bless you, you will not serve Him. God is looking for believers that will still have faith in Him even if their expectation were not meet.

Those that will say even if I’m healed or not God is still my healer, whether I’m saved or not God is still my saviour. Like the three Hebrew men: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who said to king Nebuchadnezzar,  “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”  (Daniel 3:17-18) There believe in God went beyond their present situation. They were ready to defend their faith and not worship the king’s gods even if God chooses to save them or not – that is the power of faith and that is the kind of faith Christ is looking for.

If you want to stabilise your faith in Christ Jesus in this unstable world, below are some tips that will help you to have peace of mind and stop bothering yourself with unexpected questions that may affect your peace:

  1. There are questions about life we cannot answer
  2. There are things in life we can never explain
  3. There are things in life we can never change
  4. There are things in life you cannot control
  5. There are things in life you cannot stop
  6. There are things in life we are not responsible for
  7. There are things God can never explain to you – Let God be God.

I will end it here and I don’t want to say much to avoid a wrong interpretation of my motives. Just as the Prophet will say “Our response to a person who makes a mistake can also be a mistake if we are not careful.”

North Korea Tension – How To Prevent A War

Since when the issue of the North Korea nuclear weapon program began, Prophet T.B Joshua has been in the forefront suggesting useful ways on how peace can be restored among those concerned in other to prevent a situation whereby another crisis will be added to the already tensed world. The truth is that Prophet T.B Joshua cannot be in this world and keep quiet while the devil and his agents are bringing enmity and suspicious amongst the human race – causing them to brutally kill and harm each other. The Prophet is so much concern about world peace. He believes in a crisis-free world and he wants the human race to live peacefully together under the good Spirit of harmony and tranquillity.

I observed that one of the major reasons why it seems the world is not moving towards peace is because almost all the nations of the earth are living with the mindset of a future world war. Everybody is suspicious of its neighbour. Nations are budgeting billions of dollars yearly into research, manufacturing and acquiring of more sophisticated weapons of man’s destruction. We are living daily with the mindset of war not with the mindset of a future world peace.

Since these deadly weapons are in our possession to destroy our fellow human enemies, we no longer seem to want to embrace peace. In the cause of any provocations, we are tempted to go into war instead of coming together to find an amicable solution. Psychologically, we have the mindset that, if the weapons are there and are not being used in the name of embracing peace. Is it not tantamount to waste of resources in acquiring and developing those weapons? The day the nations of the world will stop budgeting trillions of dollars into acquiring more sophisticated weapons and strengthen their nuclear arsenal, we would be heading towards world peace. Instead of the present show of military might in the cause of any provocations, powerful nations of the world will strive for peaceful means to end world crisis.

The ongoing crisis in the world is already enough, adding another war will not be good for anybody. We should try and embrace peace instead of the present show of military might and talkativeness. Those making provocative statements need to understand that because they are not going to be in the war front when the battle begins does not mean the soldiers who are sent to the battlefield do not wish to live or values their own lives. It is true soldiers are patriotic and they are ready to lay down their lives for their country, but remember most of them still have families and love once. I don’t think any child wants to be fatherless and any wife wants to be a widow.

Listen, a man thinks he has what it takes to crush his enemies, he always ignores the trumpet of peace and seeks for any provocative opportunity to go for war – such a man fall will be great. While another man is more powerful than his enemies yet, live as if he has little or no power, he does everything within his strength to avoid war and wants peace – such a man‘s greatness will grow to the high heavens and his influence to the end of the earth. It is better for your enemies to be at peace with you than seeking for an opportunity to crush them.

If there is any way there can be peace and no single life is lost. Whereby, our patriotic gallant men in military uniform can go back home safely to enjoy the warm embrace of their wives and the affectionate company of their Children. I think it will be a good thing for the nations involved and the United Nations (UN) to encourage.

By the grace of God, one of the callings of Prophet T.B Joshua’s ministry is to bring about peace in the place where there is a crisis. And this can be evidence from the everyday reconciliation that is going on in the SCOAN between family members and married couples that have been legally divorced for many years. For instance, the whole world was a witness on how the Prophet was used by God as an instrument of peace during his visit to the nation of Tanzania after their last general election that almost leads to a huge crisis.

The God of Prophet T.B. Joshua can help end the present North Korea tension if the world governing body will accept him to contribute his divine wisdom to bring about peace. The fact is that the Prophet can only succeed in his calling to bring about world peace if the world governments would be willing to use him. The many crises we are currently experiencing today in the world would have for long come to an end. But since mankind always wants to ignore God in all of their decisions – we always want to do things according to our own human understanding, this is the reason why we are living in a world that is not crisis-free.

Since we are made to believe that it is the North Korea leader that is causing the whole tension, which means the problem is about one man. I strongly believe if Prophet T.B Joshua can be allowed to lead a group of powerful delegate that has the backing of the world governing body, like the United Nations to go visit the North Korea leader for a peace talk, I think this whole drum of war will end and the foundation of peace would be built.

Don’t mistake this as one wanting to take glory from world crisis. This is not about one taking glory it is about world peace – saving lives, saving nations and saving the world. We can only have a crisis-free world if humanity can forsake their ego and in humility come to God for direction – let all humble before God and seek for His wisdom. The world will only become a better place for the entire human inhabitant and our unborn generation if we stop ignoring God. Remember that God cannot force Himself on anyone. We are free to seek for His help through any of His servants. But know that the peace that comes from spilling of blood will continue to be sustained by blood, but the peace that comes from God is eternal.

North Korea Tension – Let’s Try The Principle Of LOVE

Since the past years, Prophet T.B Joshua has been given words of Prophecies and warning to the nations of the world about the nuclear warhead programs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea). Even though then, many experts underestimated the North Korea capability to develop a sophisticated ballistic missile that can carry a nuclear warhead as far as another continent. Prophet T.B Joshua, who has seen what’s about to happen, called on the United Nations to consider a sincere negotiation with the North Korea leader, instead of sanctions that hurt only the vulnerable Koreans and not the ruler using the missile test.

In one of the Prophetic warning on Sunday 3rd January 2016, Prophet T.B Joshua told the world how the Spirit of God took him to a place in the North Korea nation, where deadly sophisticated weapons unknown to the world were being kept. He warned that if such weapons are used to strike a nation, the damage will be very tragic. These were his words: “We have to pray for the President of North Korea. Pray for North Korea. The reason why I am saying it – I am seeing an arrow from there and it will affect the world, if not a section of the world. An arrow from there. So, let us live at peace because the war we are fighting already both in Syria and others is still there. We cannot afford another one again. The whole world would be in confusion. Because what I saw – there are some weapons there the world does not know about. If they throw that arrow, there will be confusion. Remember, there is fight everywhere. Adding this one to the fight means there will be confusion all over the world.”

It was however obvious that those concerns raised by the Prophet were not taken into consideration. Today the world can see that the Prophet was right. The North Korea ruler has been able to advance his missile capability beyond what experts thought. And this the Prophet has almost in every past year till date warned the world to take seriously. He even advised the world governing body (United Nations) to urgently call for roundtable negotiations to ease the tension that the issue has so far generated. The Prophet continues to emphasise that sanctions and threat of war will not help solve the problem, but we should extend our hands and hearts of LOVE towards our neighbour to put an end to the whole tension.

There is the need for the civilized world to understand that war is becoming an old fashion way of resolving conflicts. This is the time the world governing body have to starts enacting and advocating the principle of LOVE, concession, negotiation and compromise in solving world problems, instead of sanctions that have never bring any meaningful reconciliation. There is no way the world can be a better place for us and our unborn generation, if we keep on hearing the drum of war among nations, instead of the melodious rhymes of peace and tranquillity.

What is war? It is simply the killing of your fellow human with same flesh and blood – destruction of valuable human lives and properties. Warfare has never favoured any parties involved. Even the so called ‘Victor’ will also have its loss to count. Wars don’t always end in the way we envision it. Especially, these periods where nuclear weapons are now being displayed like toys by nations. We don’t need to be told that war this time around will be very catastrophic.

For Prophet T.B Joshua to be so much concern about this issue, shows that he has seen something disastrous that he want the world to prevent from happening and this can only be possible if everyone involves would be willing to embrace peace.

Prophet T.B Joshua is so much concern about world peace. He wants a crisis free world. Where there will be no intimidation, political, economic and religious oppression. A place inhabitable for every human race, without the fear of extinct. A place, where every nation of the earth under God is free to determine her destiny without interference and meddling by other powerful nations.

God LOVE the United States of America, so also He LOVES the nation of North Korea. We all are God’s creations. My brother and sister in North Korea are not my enemies, just as my brother and sister in the United States are not my enemies. We are brothers and sisters from the same womb of one creator – we are the human race. One was made red, the other black, and the other white and so on. For the reason that our skin colours differ does not mean we are not one, even children of the same parents don’t have the same trait. God is our single Parent. Every human race is a creation of His image and likeness. It is the devil that is bringing enmity amongst us and making us think we are different.

The well-being of a North Korean should be a thing of concern to an American, so as the safety of an American should be a thing of concern to a North Korea. It is normal for brothers and sisters to quarrel, but that those not justifies them killing each other just to prove a point. It does not make sense. Please let’s come together and find a solution. There is always a way out to any conflict.

We have tried sanctions and threats; I think it is time for us to try LOVE. Let just give LOVE a chance and see if it will work out. LOVE maybe foolish, but it is wise. LOVE maybe weakness, but it is the strength. And LOVE may seem defeats, but it the victor. MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS US ALL!

The Paraguay Crusade with TB Joshua Day-2

Like the day one of the crusades, the atmosphere was filled with high expectation as people from all works of lives: visitors from neighbouring country, government officials, security personnel and citizens of Paraguay trooped to the Estadio Defensores Del Chaco in the capital, Asuncion, to experience the mighty moves of God through Prophet T.B Joshua in the day two of the historic crusade. Even the bad wealthier could not discourage the people that came to witness the tough of God.

There were countless of testimonies from many that received their healings and deliverance in the day one of the crusades. In which, the deaf received their hearing, the lame walked, the demon-possessed received their freedom, the dejected received God’s love, the broken received restoration and countless testimonies filled the atmosphere in the glory of God’s name.

Among those that were opportune to testify was a 13 year old Adriana Gimenez, whose life was rapidly becoming more agonising as she was afflicted with scoliosis of the spine that was getting worse by the day. The doctors had told her that a cure was medically impossible, restricting her to using a very cumbersome body brace which she used 24 hours a day. Whether she used the body brace or not, Adriana was in constant pain. She couldn’t even turn her neck without feeling pain pulsating down her spine. Adriana was not able to sleep peacefully; constantly disturbed by the body brace she had to wear, even at night. In a state of desperate faith, Adriana came to the Paraguay Crusade with Prophet T.B. Joshua and received her healing in Jesus’ name. Now, she is liberated from pain, disease and agony. Her advice was simple: Trust in Jesus Christ with all your heart and He will set you free.

Another testifier was Susana Gonzales from Argentina who had a lot of back pain due to an accident which caused a severe cervical problem which had been getting worse every year for the duration of twenty years. It reached a point where she couldn’t walk without assistance. She received a lot of treatment but none was able to relieve the intense pain and discomfort she went through on a daily basis. The doctors gave her a lumbar corset and body brace but they were only able to bring a temporary relief.

When Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her at the Prayer Line of the Paraguay Crusade, Day 1, she felt excited and her faith rose. She believed in her heart that Jesus Christ would heal her through him. When he touched her, the evil spirit behind her sickness manifested and immediately, she felt light and strong. She stood up and walked unaided for the first time in many years. Something spoke to her hear that “You are healed”. She can now climb stairs and walk freely without pain or discomfort. She happily threw away her lumbar corset and body brace, she no longer needs them!

Afterward, Miriam Vasquez who had a terrible accident which broke many tendons in her body that renders her unable to walk at all came to testify. She said she had to use a wheelchair to move around because she couldn’t do her daily chores or go to work or even go to the toilet without assistance. By faith, Miriam came to the Paraguay Crusade with Prophet T.B. Joshua and was at the Prayer Line. Immediately she felt peace in her heart when Prophet T.B. Joshua touched her. She received inner strength and stood up and began to walk by herself. She joyfully demonstrated with that she can now walk freely! She advised all to trust in God because He is not a liar. Everything is possible for the one who believes.

When Prophet T.B Joshua came to the podium, he gave a message titled: The integrity of the bible part 2, which is a continuation of the day one message. After the messages, the man of God went straight to the prayer line to minister healings and deliverance to the sick and afflicted. As the man of God was ministering under the power and influence of the Holy Ghost, Cancer, pain, arthritis and broken bones were no match for the powerful name of Jesus Christ.  It was a miracle galore as afflictions were being taken away. Many in wheel chaired and those using crutches were moving freely. While many others using lumbar corset and body brace were seen removing the brace as they joyously give thanks to God after a touched from Prophet T.B Joshua.

At the close of the 2-day program, Prophet T.B Joshua was again presented with another medal of honour by government officials. Before the Prophet left the stadium, he told the peoples that it will soon rain because the rain was supposed to fall but the rain, which is a servant of God, has been waiting for the crusade to come to a close. Truly as the Prophet was about leaving, there was a heavy downpour of rain.

The Paraguay Crusade With TB Joshua Day-1

With high expectations for the move of God, the stadium auditorium was filled to capacity, as Paraguayan from all walks of life, government officials, as well as religious leaders and visitors from other South America nations, trooped to the Estadio Defensores Del Chaco in the capital, Asuncion, to receive God’s touch through Prophet T.B Joshua. As the man of God ministers healing and delivering to the sick and the weak, in Jesus‘ name, not less than a hundred wheel chaired people were healed of various ailments as they were seen leaving the magnificent stadium with their wheelchairs raised while they walked unaided for the first time in many years.

A man who came on crutches due to a broken leg received a touch from the Prophet, in the name of Jesus, and instantly began to walk; another person, a woman, who arrived with her left leg strapped in a full leg brace walked to the glory of God as soon as the man of God touched the point of her trouble in Jesus‘ name; a young girl in body brace due to scoliosis that deteriorated backbone jumped to the glory of God the instant she received her healing. A man with several braces all over his body joints – from the ankles to elbows – cried out for help as he counted his many ailments. Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for the man and instantly he wanted all the braces removed and indeed they were all removed right away. The man did not only walk but ran his best to testify his healing is complete in the name of Jesus-Christ.

A woman in lumbar corset received her healing, instantly walked, and began to jump as she shed tears of joy to glorify God’s name.

An Argentine woman and her husband cried to the man of God saying she needed a miracle due to the severe and hopeless state of her broken leg that rendered her unable to walk without human support. The man of God Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for the woman she walked freely to the glory of the Lord.

Another woman suffering from obesity received the touch of God and began to vomit poisonous substances. Right after that, the woman looked refreshed and testified to the goodness of the Lord’s name, as she walked in her testimony.

The two-day crusade which will round off on Saturday (today) started at about 6 pm local time on Friday and saw many streets deserted, albeit with massive pockets of traffic on major roads leading to the stadium.

According to some resident of the city of Asuncion who pleaded anonymity, over 2 million people graced the occasion and such miracles galore have never been witnessed before in Paraguay. This was corroborated by one Mr Mario Martinez, a Mexican who came all the way from Mexico City to attend the crusade.

The high point of the crusade was the official presentation of the Order of Merit, the Paraguay’s Highest National Honour to Prophet T.B Joshua by the Paraguayan Parliament. This was in recognition of his leadership and humanitarian works. He was also presented with an honour of privilege by the Board and Members of the Asuncion Municipality declared Prophet T.B. Joshua as an Illustrious Visitor, sealing this off with the Presentation of Honour of Illustrious Visitor and the Key of The City of Asuncion to him. – An indication that the city has been handed over to God for His blessing through Prophet T.B Joshua.

PART TWO: Disunity Among Great Men

“Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” – 1 Corinthians 1: 10

Apostle Paul is one of the greatest First-century leaders of the Church that every genuine minister of the gospel in this 21st century needs to learn from. He was a unifier and bridge builder among brethren of the Church during his ministry. There was a time when there were divisions among members of the early Church. Some said they were for Apollos, while some said they were for Paul, some others said they were for Cephas and the rest said they were for Christ. When Paul a great man of wisdom heard about this, he quickly distances himself from it. He told the brethren that he was not the Christ that was crucified for them neither was the body of Christ divided.

“For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you. Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name. Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other. For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.” – 1 Corinthians 1: 11-17

Paul tried not to associate with those that were sowing seeds of disunity among the Churches neither was it ever recorded that he castigated other men of God. Paul was a man of vision whose focus was the spreading of the gospel around the nations of the earth. As great ministers of the gospel, our mission in the pulpit or Bible classes is to preach about Christ and the salvation he brought to mankind not preaching and naming other ministers of the gospel we think are false thereby, causing division in the household of God and thus, exposing the Church to publicly ridicule by unbelievers. It is time for all of us to change our ways.

Let us forget the pain of the past. The accusations, name calling and suspicion in the body of Christ benefit no one. Every minister of the gospel both home and abroad needs to come together and put the devil to shame. The kingdom of darkness does not want to see us together. I tell you the day our different Church head denominations would come together and pray with one voice in agreement, However huge the mountain maybe whether from the North, South, East and West or from the Sea, the Air, the Land and in any dark realm shall be made low.

Just imagine if great men of God like our daddy Enoch Adeboye, T.B. Joshua, Christ Oyakhilome, David Oyedepo, William Kumuyi, Lazarus Muoka, D.K. Olukoya and many other come together and pray to God in one voice. Boko Haram in Nigeria will be a thing of the past. The earth will become uncomfortable to the kingdom of darkness. All the principalities and dark powers holding the progress of the nation will be broken. The devil and his agent know all this that is why they don’t want to see us all together. Satan wants us to remain fragmented.

When Peter was arrested by King Herod the Bible said that the Church come together and prayed constantly to God for his freedom. The united prayers by the Church make God to personally send an Angel to free the Apostle in the prison cell. That’s the power of a united prayer; it provokes God to act quickly.

“Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant[a] prayer was offered to God for him by the church. And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.” – Acts 12:5-10

Whether we like it or not we need each other strength to move the Church forward irrespective of how great we think we are in our calling. “We need to understand that everyone has an ability that no one else has and is indispensable in the world”. Each human being is a solution to a certain problem that needs to be solved, that’s why we should be very careful not to look down or speak ill of others…READ MORE

PART ONE: Disunity Among Great Men

“….upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” – Mathew 16:18b

Nigeria is one of those nations blessed by God with great Ministers of the gospel called with a unique impartation of God’s supernatural grace to preach the gospel to nations of the world with power. These great Men of God are so mightily used by God that their names being mention, send waves of confusion in the kingdom of darkness. So great they are, that their names are in symbolic to modern Pentecostalism, but then comes the bone of contention, some among them doubt the calling of their compatriot professing the same Faith of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and this Satan has used to sow seeds of contentions amongst the heads of the different dominations of the Church.

Indeed Christ warned the church to beware of fake Prophets, Pastors and false teachers who are wolves within but in disguise, comes outwardly in sheep’s clothing. However, Christ Jesus gave the Church a clue on how to know these false teachers – “By their Fruits”.

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits.” – Mathew 7: 15-16

This means the outcome of their works which must be measured only by biblical standards ought to be used to determine their genuineness. The standards spelt out by the scripture did not say we should determine their callings by what we hear other people say about them or from what we heard and read in the news media, but according to the light of God’s word. As Christians, the Bible is our standard, not public opinion or how logical the issue is to our reason faculty because the human interpretation of truth is always limited when it comes to the things of the Spirit.

God works in mysterious ways, He does not need anyone permission to call whom He wants to call nor does he always need the role of another man of God to anoints whom He wants to anoints; God does as He wills. Therefore, we should always be careful with what we say and conclude about others because the future is a mystery. Irrespective of our great works of spreading the gospel, the crowd we control and the calibres of men/women that look up to us for mentorship, God is still far-far ahead of us in everything we have accomplished. There is no perfect one on earth, as humans, we can make wrong judgements; only God is infallible. That’s why as believers we should always try and go deeper to find the truth of everything, instead of just taking whatever our pastors or anyone tell us and the purest truth is always right there before us in the word of God, the Bible.

I once heard a popular man of God said in one of his Sunday sermons that the work of God is so complicated that a genuine man of God can sometimes not recognised another man of God. I was like, how is that possible, I discovered that even in the scripture, there were controversies among God’s brethren. Some persons in the early Church challenged Paul’s calling to be an Apostle. They went as far as attacking his credibility and spiritual qualification. They believe he was not called by God and not worthy of the respect he was getting. In Paul’s second letter to the Corinthian Church, he responded and counsels the believers not to be led astray by those causing strife in the Church. He wrote that even if what he was about to say sound unreasonable and foolish, he would say it anyway so that they would return to the true gospel.

“Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I. Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?” –  2 Corinthian 11: 22-29

In the passage of the scripture above, Paul listed out what he has gone through for the sake of the gospel. He gave those lists to proof his genuineness. He was trying to make them understand that if indeed he was not genuinely called by God, he could not have been able to go through all those challenges and does all those great works he had done to spread the gospel. He was able to stand firm in Faith even in the face of tribulation and hardship because God was involved in his ministry.

What can we believers learn from Paul’s letter? Before anyone must take a conclusive stand about another minister of the gospel or any person, he/she should take a time to go through that person’s antecedents, what they have gone through for the sake of the gospel and how resolute they are in the kingdom business even in the face of tribulation and attack.

For anyone out there to even think of start castigating Prophet T.B. Joshua and his ministry, why not take a look at his unwavering passion for the work of Christ even in the face of persecutions, intimidations and rejection. There is an online video of the Prophet- “Where Will T.B. Joshua Go Next؟؟؟.” There is a scene in that video of the Prophet being welcome to the nation of Botswana for a crusade. He said something to the cheerful crowd that caught my attention. He said, “I am here to do what I was born for, and I am living for, and I am going to die for.” It only takes a man of great passion and a strong vision for the work of Christ to make such declaration. Can one die for what he was not genuinely called for? It only takes a genuine purpose to live and die for something. And indeed, one can clearly see that the life and ministry of the Prophet is a testimony to that declaration. TO BE CONTINUE
