WARNING TO THE PRESS WORLDWIDE ON TB JOSHUA “Had I known always come at last” Say’s Michael Lathbridge

Recently the Ghanaian media landscape witnessed a raging debate, mostly abrasive, over whether Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nation’s is boasting to be the God that led the Ghana’s Black Satellite’s to victory, when Ghana became the first African team to win the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt. It was indeed Africa! The same attitude was demonstrated when President Atta Mills became the president of Ghana few month ago.

We appreciated the debate which went into the discourse, due to unbelievers but wished that it had not degenerated to the level it has, involving the press, politicians, Pastors as well as individual who have labeled the accused Prophet TB Joshua in front of news papers and online news sites with sadistic words of which some are strong worded.

My question to the press; I thought when a story comes to the knowledge of the public, it is expected that it must have gone through a thorough analysis and check by the relevant authorities. Then comes the part that ensures that all involved parties in the news are given a fair sense of hearing so that both sides of the story are not only heard but the final story that is released to the public allows for them to make an informed conclusion? When these above stated guidelines are disregarded, a major part of the ethics of the profession of journalism can be said to have been thrown out of the window; that is the case of Peace Fm, Daily Guide and certain individual running this senseless propaganda.

All these disparagement came to the limelight when the current president John Atta Mills saw the need of putting God first in leading his people. The fact is that, Ghana has had 12 head of States since the independence in 1957, who can tell me which of them has publicly honored a man of  God and to seek God’s opinion on the decision they take in ruling their people ? Perhaps those whom have turned the name of TB Joshua into chewing stick, derogatory his name would love it if Atta Mills visit the Volta region to consult a fetish priest, maybe you would eulogize him then.

Question to men of God; I would like to believe they are preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and doing all that he did during and

Jesus died on the Cross for you and I; what are we doing become like Him?
Jesus died on the Cross for you and I; what are we doing become like Him?

before his crucifixion, if so did He preach condemnation? Did He not deliver and healed the sick? Did He not prophesy to the people? Why then has TB Joshua’s name become a subject of disparage among them? Why not ask God who is TB Joshua?

Despite the whole yarn after Ghana worn the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, Prophet TB Joshua never lay claim of the glory, but said “The coach called me in the morning of the battle in Egypt and said I should join them in prayers. I considered this as a great honor because there are many great men of God in Ghana that had also been standing in the gap for the team. And I was one of these called to join in prayer for the team. There are great men of God in Ghana. We are all prayer warriors…” It has becomes obvious that you all conspire to spoil the name of TB Joshua at all cost. We should remember all fingers are not equal and God gives as He will, and we should let the pain of one to be the pain of all.

Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh admitting that a Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua decided which players he should play at the U20 World Cup. Joshua told Tetteh to make Andre Dede Ayew the key to his selection as he was the luckiest player in the U20 World Cup winning squad.
Tetteh admitted that they were in constant touch with Joshua throughout the tournament and he said the pastor’s predictions were true.
“Before God and man I was in constant touch with Pastor Joshua all the predictions he made were realized,” Tetteh said. But Ayew who was at the centre of Joshua’s predictions says all the glory must go to God because people of all faiths contributed to the team’s success. And that was what Prophet TB Joshua said “There are great men of God in Ghana. We are all prayer warriors”… Ayew never said that he didn’t receive a call from TB Joshua; he only said all the glory must go to God. Following the words of Ayew, it is obvious he spoke to TB Joshua.

Ayew who was at the centre of Joshua's predictions says all the glory must go to God because people of all faiths contributed to the team's success.
Ayew who was at the centre of Joshua's predictions says all the glory must go to God because people of all faiths contributed to the team's success.

If you listen to Prophet TB Joshua, he also said all the glory must go to God. He never glorified himself but only to testify of the goodness of God. I believe he recorded the conversation just for events like this. If the miracles of Jesus were not recorded in the bible, we will not read that he made the blind to see nor made the crippled to walk. This shows that he is a Man of God indeed and a true prophet. I don’t think the man of God is giving glory to himself; rather he is glorifying the Lord for the power and anointing giving to him. Why don’t you stop criticizing and leave everything to God to judge. Prophet T B Joshua has prophesize match before and it came to past, I see no reason why you should doubt him this time. Before the match between Nigeria vs. Mozambique, he talked about it and even said he saw a goal which would be scored with the head. And it came to past that the only goal scored by Victor Obinna Nsofor of Nigeria was with his head. It is no longer arguable, with the class in which the critics have enveloped themselves; it shows the totality of their kid’s style propaganda.
Had I known always comes at last; hence I have chosen to warn you as a son of the soil to stop spoiling the name of TB Joshua

Words of wisdom by Prophet TB Joshua

tbj-21“Knowing facts about God does not change your relationship with Him. Therefore, take the time to read your Bible with devotion because there you meet Him face to face. The Bible is given to us in the first place, simply to invite us to make ourselves at home in the world of God and become familiar with the way He speaks and the way in which we answer Him with our lives” TBJ

“Those who are rich in every sense of the word understand that life is a learning

Experience” – TBJ

“What causes sadness and anguish to the man without vision is a source of joy to the man of vision.” TBJ

“There is something far more important than your present situation – your dream and your goal.” – TB Joshua

“Today, be encouraged to stay focused on God. As Christians, our focus should be only on what God has to say, not on what our natural circumstances have to say” TBJ

“You can be bold as a Christian through knowing that you are a faith man, a faith woman! Be bold to speak God’s language. “The Father loves me as much as He does any of His children. I am just as dear to the Father as any evangelist, pastor, missionary or teacher” TBJ

“Jesus is all the world to me my life, my joy, my all. He is my strength from day to day Without Him, I would fall.” – TB Joshua

“As a Christian, whatever situation you are passing through now is for a purpose. It may be to stop you awhile in order to preserve you for redemption, in order to keep you for a new level in life, to prepare you for the challenges ahead, to reform you for a better position in God. So take heart, in every situation, God has something to say. Even when He seems to be quiet, He is still saying something!” TBJ

“Looking the other way when your brother is in trouble is equal to rejecting Christ Himself.” TB Joshua

Life is too short to waste our time on things that have no lasting significance or value. It is not how long you live that counts, but how well. Your death is coming some day and you have never been told when that day will be. Have you been told? See every minute as important. Make the most of every opportunity that comes your way. – TB Joshua

As Jesus taught us in the book of Matthew 6:33, we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all those things shall be added to us. This means, that success, blessing, breakthrough comes when your aim, focus and desire is to build God’s kingdom. But you should always remember that faith is not a magic button that you press and receive all these things immediately. When you pray, your prayer must be followed by an attitude of absolute faith that God is working out the answer. So, whatever your present situation – don’t concentrate on it. learn to focus on serving God wholeheartedly, doing your best and leaving the rest to Him. So, when it is God’s appointed time for that breakthrough – nothing can stop it!

TB Joshua Is Like Every Other Man On The Street…

Earlier this year in an interview with The Guardian Newspapers, the presitigious and renowned Nigerian newspaper, TB Joshua spoke on a range of intriguing issues…

TB Joshua

TB Joshua

Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) was recently mentioned among the world’s leading faith healers by America’s TIME Magazine. He was also awarded the National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the government in recognition of his humanitarian activities. He spoke to TOPE TEMPLER OLAIYA at his church’s headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos on what the award means to him and why his church attracts high-profile visitors.
“If not for the grace of God, I would be like any other man on the street…” TB Joshua

First, how do you feel with the National Honour bestowed on you by Mr. President?

Honour where? You mean the one that was given to me in January. Well, that is not new to me and is not something special to me. As you can see for yourself, a lot of people, organisations, government, home and abroad and even foreign missions have been honouring the grace of God upon my life. Just last week, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) presented me with an award. But then, the honour is not meant for me, it belongs to God. I am just a vessel God is using.

First, it was your meeting with the Governor General of the State of Bahamas in the early 90s, followed by the visit of President Frederick Chiluba of Zambia, a few years later. Since then, other world leaders have come to visit you, most recently, was the new President of Ghana, Prof. John Atta Mills and you are preparing to receive a South African leader in the next few days, what do you think is the source of attraction?
It is a simple answer; it is because their needs are met. People will always be attracted to wherever their needs will be met; and the needs of men vary. What I want and like might be different from what you want; so, you will always go to where your needs are met. It is not in my power, it is God, who is answering the needs of his people. Even in the Bible, people travel far and wide to where their needs will be met. Also, the work of God is like honey. Wherever honey is, insects seek and find it. When God is doing a new thing in a place, people are attracted there. So, these presidents and other foreign nationals come to the church, because of what God is doing here.

Despite this, most Nigerians have still not acknowledged what God is using you to do. Why is it so?
You see, every man of God has his gift. This is my own area. In the academic world, we have professors of English, Chemistry, and Mathematics. If some people do not need my gift, this does not mean that it is not needed somewhere. If what you have is not needed now, that does not mean that it will not be needed tomorrow. So, it would be too soon to begin to say this and it would be too soon to praise or come to the conclusion you have drawn now. God’s time is the best. Sometimes, what you need at the end might be the most important thing to you. Let me give you a good example: a friend you discover later in life may be the most important friend you would cherish more than the friend you have had from the beginning of your life.

Apart from the headquarters’ church in Lagos, which has become a tourist attraction, do you have other branches of the church?
Branches everywhere is not the issue, what is the issue now is making disciples of Christ out of men, making another T.B. Joshua. If this could be possible in the life of Elisha and Elisha came out of Elijah even more powerful than his master, why not also in our time, so that after I am gone, there will be men who God would raise up to achieve His purpose in the world. That is the biggest reward God can give to his servant. Like they always say, there is no success without a good successor. The greatest honour will be to make disciples who will do better than what we are presently doing.

Do you see your children taking after your ministry in the Synagogue?
The ministry is not a will; it is not a property you can will to your children. It is a spiritual inheritance and the Bible talks about the inheritance of saints. You must meet God’s condition and no human hand can be employed to do the work of God, neither can the mouth do the work of God. It is not a matter of ‘I can speak good grammar’, it is only God that will choose who He wants. It is predestined, as it should be by divine will. I cannot force my children to follow in my footsteps, they have to decide on their own, and I can only point them to the way we also have followed. I cannot give them the power because I am not the owner of the power. I can only do my best to train them in the way of the Lord and if they are ready to follow and make a difference, it is their choice, not mine.

Who is T.B. Joshua?
Joshua is a man like you. I am like anybody else on the street; the only difference in my life is the grace of God. That is the difference and that is what separates me from the man on the street. But with that, because I am a man who has known what it is to lack, I do not close my eyes to the needy. Because I am somebody who has experienced what it is to be poor and without money, I give of what I have to help the poor, because I am a man who knows what it is to be hungry, I give food to feed the poor and those who are hungry, as a way of appreciating the grace of God upon my life because if not for the grace of God, I would be like any other man on the street.
