TB Joshua Church Nigeria | tbjfansuk.wordpress.com
Prophet TB Joshua is one of the most consequential if not the most consequential prophets of our generation. His prophetic pronouncements have come to pass with clinical precision, from the improbable election of the late Ghanaian president, Professor Atta Mills, to the air crash in Buffalo, New York in 2010, to the Boston, Massachusetts marathon day bomber and other great predictions, Prophet T. B Joshua- the General Overseer of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (The SCOAN)has continued to confound the world with his uncanny spiritual and prophetic gifts.
All over the world, especially in the United States, the name T. B. Joshua elicits great curiosity, admiration and spiritual awe. Most readers of my newspaper, The Diasporan Star, especially those from the southern tip of Africa – Zimbabwe, South Africans – the Caribbean community and other mainstream American populations have asked me on many occasions to try and do an in interview with the great Man of God, Prophet T. B. Joshua and to feature him in our very popular column, “Keepers of the Lord’s Vineyard”. One of such deep followers of the prophet, Christine Ngorosandu, a Zimbabwean-American nurse had pleaded with me last year to do a big story on the church and the prophet as a way to show the world, especially Americans the awesome power of God that is unfolding in the church and I remember telling her I would do so, when I next I visit Nigeria. Ms. Ngorosandu had paid a pilgrimage to Synagogue church last year and came back a spiritually changed and deeper Christian.
And so, last Tuesday, I decided to go to the church and attempt to see the Prophet who is affectionately called by millions of his followers “Man of God”. I was stunned first by the majesty of the church, the intricate designs of the main church, the pace of activities I saw, the throngs of people from all nationalities that were united in a single pursuit of spiritual growth and development; the professionalism the staff had shown- from the security, to the ushers and to the media team, who as a reflection of the name of the church cuts across all nationalities, the media team, for instance, are all Britons and as they greet you, and ,making you feel completely at ease and at home, they let you know they have internalized certain Nigerian lingos, such as telling you “no wahala.
I was taken in by the ease and facility with which the rich and the powerful all mingle in a symphony of spiritual curiosity and the sense of order and organization that defines the church. “We will try our best to ensure that you get to see the ‘Man of God” one of the media aides had told me and as I enjoyed the sumptuous meal of rice and stew chicken in the church’s well-appointed cafeteria. I was amazed by what the Lord could do in the lives of the people, by picking a chosen vessel upon which all nations would come together and praise Him without a recourse or resort to class, gender, colour or pedigree.
It is a known fact that T.B. Joshua’s ministry is defined by prophetic pronouncements and the need to let us mere mortals understand the supernatural elements of God, but I was shocked-pleasantly so, to understand that the church has done a lot of charitable works- giving hope to the hopeless, lifting people up from the depth of despondency to self-fulfillment, providing succor to the weak and the infirm, the widows whom the society often abandons to the vagaries of hard existence upon the death of their husbands and breadwinners. I was pleased to note that that the church and its TV arm-Emmanuel TV have done extensive work in bringing to the fore the hardships the earthquake ravaged people of Haiti had faced, and the resources the church had put to bear in ameliorating some of those harsh realities of the Haitian people.
I have observed the actions of a lot of churches- from those in the United States and here, in Nigeria, and the emphasis on most of those churches has always been to collect without giving back to those who helped nurture the growth of those churches. You will hear congregants of those churches tell you they cannot afford the school fees for their children in some of the schools those churches run and administer. The tuition is simply out of reach of the ordinary and not so ordinary members of those churches. What I saw at Synagogue, was different. I saw a church community that celebrates philanthropy, that builds and encourages people to be the best that God had wanted them to be- a church that is all-inclusive and I began to wonder why some naysayers have trafficked in some outlandish, vile and base innuendos about the church and its leader.
T.B. Joshua in spite of the awe-inspiring presence he commands is exceedingly simple. When I eventually got to meet him on Wednesday, July 17, in his office, I was shocked by the simplicity he projected, the demeanour of a true and caring man of God that he wore and the simplicity of his office, his mode of dressing and approach. I was left confounded. Walking up to his office, I had been battling some butterflies in my stomach as I wondered how and where to start interviewing a man of God who sees everything and is able to read people’s minds. He totally relaxed me and even though he told me, he was giving me ten minutes to ask my questions, he was generous enough to have given me a few more minutes and eventually asked me to come back for a full-length interview which was conducted yesterday, Friday, July 19.
The Prophet was very keen to speak on topical issues and had answered all my questions with his characteristic frankness and openness. We touched on both politics, social, spiritual, world affairs and his prediction on what he saw coming in 2015 and how what he saw coming could be averted. The full interview with the awesome man of God, Prophet T. B. Joshua will be published in the next edition of The Diasporan Star and excerpts will be published here in Nigeria as well. Please look out for this once-in a million encounter with the Man of God who has brought all nations to Nigeria, and in the process redefine the way we are seen and regarded by the larger world.
In the midst of the melodies from the choir, which set out to enhance the spiritual tune of the auditorium, Wise Man Daniel emerged to deliver his message. The wise man assured the congregation that God is always with them. In his words, our heavenly Father is concerned about us. He wants us to be physically healed and spiritually saved. We are here for a relationship forever with Him. Hard times cannot affect the relationship. It is in the mind of God to answer prayers. We may not understand Him because of our limitations. He tells us to be patient because there is time for everything. In a situation that seems to project failure, you should be careful to find out God’s opinion so that you will not end up rejecting His purpose for your life. The wise man entitled his message Let His Will Be Done. He cited Daniel 6:7, 9 – 11 as his proof text. Great men simply have great habits, the wise man remarked after reading the proof text. Commenting further, the wise man said Daniel never allowed the situation on ground to dictate his prayer. What a man of faith he was! He knew the danger involved in praying to his God yet he never allowed it to change his habit of praying daily to his God. Daniel had no reason to doubt God’s ability to deliver. He saw premature death as an early escape from this wicked world. He believed that physical death enhances spiritual transition towards God. Death, to a good man, is a release from this world to the enjoyment in Heaven. The best man in this world holds his position, honour and integrity no longer than God keeps him in it. By His grace, we are what we are. LET LOVE LEAD
Prophet referred the congregation to the words on The SCOAN Anointing Sticker : ‘Let Love Lead’ as he dwelt on the theme of love in his message. Drawing his listeners’ attention to 1 John 4, he advised them not to believe every spirit but to test the spirit whether it is of God. Citing verse 16 as a good summary of the chapter, he added that God is love and he, who abides in love, abides in God for God is love. Citing 1 Corinthians chapter 13, the prophet averred that only three things will last on this earth; namely, faith, hope and love. The greatest, he said, is love. In his words, love looks around to see who is in need. We begin to succeed with our lives, he added, when the hurts and problems of others matter to us. The wound of one is the wound of all. Love frees us in the present. It is the present situation that presents problems. It is only through love that we are able to respond to God and to others in the present. First, you must forgive yourself and your neighbour. This is why Paul, the apostle made it clear that faith works by love in Galatians 5:6. What a danger, the prophet continued, is a religion of words, if there is no corresponding action! You have nothing but a mental assent without action. How does the love of God work in a man who only thinks and works with empty words, idle words? If you give everything you own to the poor but you do not love, no matter what you say, believe or do, you are bankrupt without love. Let love lead, the prophet re-echoed. Concluding, the prophet enjoined the congregation to pray that God will give them the grace to act on the message and do what the message says. DELIVERED FROM FEEDING ON SAND Sylvia and Veila, delivered from addictions to foam mattresses and uncooked rice were in attendance in the service and testified that the spirits of addiction had not disturbed them in any way since their deliverance the previous Sunday. The prophet revealed that after witnessing their deliverances, many viewers with similar addictions had sent emails in throughout the week and many were present in the church that morning. One of those with a similar attack, according to his mother who brought him for deliverance, was Al Ammen, a son of a professor in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. As the mother put it, Al Ammen, now six years old, had been eating sand and foam mattress and all beating to stop him failed. He was also stubborn and rude, shouting at his parents without restraint in his wish to be in total control. Confirming his mother’s revelation, Al Ammen added that a strange voice of a man urged him to eat sand and foam mattress and he enjoyed eating them as food. He admitted shouting at his parents because, according to him, they disturbed him. Al Ammen was delivered by mere verbal interaction with the prophet who pronounced him free, in Jesus’ name. ‘Thank You, Jesus! I am free!’ Al Ammen reacted at his deliverance, telling the congregation that he used to eat sand and foam mattress but he would no more eat them. He also voiced a wish to become a . ANOINTING WATER AROUND THE WORLD
The Anointing Water coupled with the miracles that go with it was also visited on the screen. This took Emmanuel TV viewers to many countries and places such as Cincinnati in Ohio, USA; The SCOAN branch in London, UK; Athens in Greece; Cape Town, South Africa and Accra, Ghana. In each and all of these locations, the power of God, the Almighty was clearly in evidence. Many people who had been held in bondage by contrary spirits were seen reacting to the ministration of the Anointing Water by shaking visibly and uncontrollably while others among them were vomiting or emitting all sorts of sound in deliverance. Among them were Shannon from Ohio, USA, Shannon who was healed of stomach problems and Patricia Ishemon from Texas who was set free from a witch doctor’s curse. She had nursed plans to visit The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria but when she heard the Anointing Water was nearby, believed that distance was not a barrier and received the touch she desired. Considering the distances the many bottles of the Anointing Water had travelled overseas from their source in The SCOAN, Lagos nevertheless their effectiveness was left unaffected, as the man of God aptly remarked, ‘What is of God is above all’.
ANOINTING WATER BRINGS FORTH A BABY Mr Fidelis Chukwuka of Delta, Nigeria and his wife, Theresa with her baby mounted the platform for their testimony. The head of the family narrated that in June last year, he visited The SCOAN for the Anointing Water for his family that was barren for fifteen years. Their problems, as he revealed, were low sperm count on his part and irregular menstruation on the part of his wife; problems which 15 years of patronage of witch doctors and modern medicine could no solve. A month after receiving and administering the Anointing Water, according to Fidelis, his wife conceived. He happily told his listeners that they had come to thank God for their new baby whom they had named, Victory – for God Almighty had given them victory through the Anointing Water! PRAYER DISPLACES OPERATION
Mrs Helen Idahosa accompanied by her husband, Kenneth also mounted the platform for her testimony. Told that the only option she had in delivering her baby was through operation, Helen came to The SCOAN in fear, to seek the face of the Lord. Having been prayed for by Wise Man Racine and prophesied to of the safe delivery of a baby boy, Helen travelled back home relieved. When it was time for her to deliver, the same doctor who had prescribed operation assisted her in a natural delivery, made possible only through the prophetic word spoken by Wise Man Racine. As well as confirming his wife’s testimony, Kenneth thanked God for His blessing in his family. DELIVERED FROM HEALTH EFFECTS OF SPIRITUAL WIFE Mr Pius from Cameroon but resident in the Republic Benin as a lecturer later ascended the platform. He narrated that something had fallen from him as one of the wise men prayed for him in the prayer line. His problem, according to him, was that a spiritual wife appeared to him in the dream and destroyed his life. She would appear in different forms and while making love with him, Pius discovered that his manhood would appear very large. When he woke up from the dreams, he would discover that physically it would become smaller until it eventually became unusually small. He would also find himself in bruises and stripes as if he had been beaten, making him weak and feel robbed of affection for his earthly wife. Before the nightmares began, he continued, he used to weigh about 106 kilogrammes but currently weighed a mere 85 kilogrammes. His urine was coming out in many colours and sometimes it would appear as if he was menstruating. The problem began after he had a verbal argument with another man over a woman. He had sought the assistance of his wife and her father for his cure but to no avail. After a short interview, the man of God stretched his hand towards him in prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit and declared him free, in Jesus’ name. COUPLE RECONCILED Captain Godwin Amrorighoye and his wife, Mercy whom the man of God had revealed in a prophecy as having a cat-and-rat marital relationship and who had engaged in a fight before coming for the service of the previous Sunday, mounted the platform to narrate their story to the congregation. The woman accused her husband of wasting his money on women after he received a promotion and transfer to Bayelsa State, following prayer with the Anointing Water from The SCOAN. Even though by the promotion he became entitled to free accommodation, free feeding and a government car in his job, Godwin, his wife revealed, was going into debt. The wife wondered why he should owe anything with all the fringe benefits his recent promotion has brought to him. While they were together in Delta, he never owed a debt even with his smaller salary. All this fuelled the wife’s suspicion that he was involved in an extra-marital affair. That was the reason for the soured relationship between them, the woman submitted. In spite of his denial, Captain Godwin Amrorighoye unfortunately received a phone call from a woman in the presence of his wife. He answered the phone call hurriedly and harshly because of his wife who was watching with concern. Later, the wife had access to the phone number and replied the woman. The prophet recapitulated many points and quotes from the message of the day’s service to advise the couple, the church and especially Captain Godwin Amrorighoye to appreciate the need for mutual respect for each other in a marriage, so that no partner in the marital union would feel belittled. He thereafter delivered Captain Godwin Amrorighoye from the contrary spirits that threatened the peace of their marriage.
Without doubt, the entire congregation of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations worldwide and viewers of Emmanuel TV cannot thank the Almighty God enough for this opportunity to visit the days of Christ on earth in this Church. May the Lord’s name be praised forever!
Addressing the assembly in the lull of the adoration music, Prophet T. B. Joshua underscored the fact that
our fight is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and demons of all authorities and rankings. As our fight is targeted at demons and principalities, it is not easy to determine our closing time in the Sunday service. In our case, we react proactively to the attack of the devil as and when observed. Demons attack mankind everywhere and every time and we must react as enjoined in Mark 16:17 where God says, in my name you shall cast out all demons. Opening his message with a series of rhetorical questions, Wise Man Racine enjoined the assembly to be vigilant if they were not to be caught napping when the Lord would arrive. Are you prepared for the coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ? How prepared are you to receive Him? Where will He find you when He comes? He advised the church to wake up. He reminded the congregation that what we see on a daily basis on the street are demons at work in various ways and manners. Demons use able-bodied men to perpetrate atrocities of various descriptions and dimensions against their fellow men as orchestrated by the devil whose pre-occupation is to distract mankind from his Creator, God. Demon’s purpose is to distract man from God. There is an unending war between eternity and things which are intrinsically temporal in nature. A war between Christ and evil which is also the war between the Spirit and flesh is unending, according to him. This he maintained would lead to the topic of his message which is:
THE BATTLE OF THE AGES
Ours is a fight with enemies that we can’t see. He referred the congregation to 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. The weapons of warfare are not carnal, for ours are enemies without flesh. The first place to be victorious is in our mind, he emphasised. It is a war between knowledge and ignorance. He enjoined the congregation to find security in God’s hands. It is in God’s hands that we have victory and blessing. Freedom from fear is in God’s hands. If God is with you, who can be against you? He further reminded the congregation of the Lord’s promise to set a table before you in the presence of your enemies. He advised his listeners to look up to the Lord for eternal victory. Jesus’ victory is a supernatural victory and we should rise up in heart and mind for things above. Our victory is past victory as Jesus, by His victory over the devil, has conquered the world for us. He gave biblical backing to his point by asking the church to open Matthew 4:3 for the Lord’s temptation. The devil tempted Jesus with bread because he knew that after His forty days of fasting and praying, He must be hungry. The devil tempted Jesus to put on a sensational display of power. Jesus, though had all the power, presumed upon the Holy Spirit. This teaches us that the power given to us is not to be exercised at our own will but at the will of God.
BROKEN HOMES AND RECONCILIATION
Mounting the altar in succession to the Wise Man, Prophet T.B. Joshua x-rayed the various problems challenging the unity in many families today. In many cases, he went on, families don’t go together to church because there isn’t unity enough in the family to justify that. Even in the same church, husband and wife sit far apart to be comfortable. All this, he maintained, is the work of the devil. The nature of the man’s job could be a source of disunity as wife and children will not be happy to wake up at 4am for family prayer to enable the man to go to work early. So, when there is unity on the outside, there might be disunity on the inside. Many of your children might not accept your faith but would embrace your money.
A HOUSE ON FIRE
The man of God directed that the video clip on a prophecy relating to the Nworah family be visited. The clip revealed the psychological
turmoil in the mind of Mrs Rose Nworah following a strange phone number she discovered in her husband’s phone. Dialling the phone number in suspicion and anxiety, Mrs Rose Nworah received the shocking news told, with utmost disdain, by a girl her husband nicknamed Baby-Baby. The girl in question had been regaling herself in an illegal sexual relationship with her husband. As Baby-Baby herself put it, in reaction to Mrs Nworah’s phone call, “I have been enjoying your husband for quite some time and in fact, I am now pregnant for him.” What unspeakable effrontery! What a heart-shattering and mind-numbing insolence! What culpable sacrilege of cultural and biblical norms! The reality of the matter, as explained by Mrs Nworah, is that for quite some time the relationship between the couple had gone sour. The man’s amorous yearning for the woman had atrophied. Much to the chagrin of the woman, the husband never relished her meals anymore; they never slept together nor was the man interested in going out together with the wife ostensibly because of his newly discovered Baby-Baby, who incidentally hails from the same village in Anambra, Nigeria as the husband. Rose, the wife felt disadvantaged by this communal relationship between her husband and Baby-Baby as she, herself is a Ghanaian. In spite of the ethnic difference between the couple, the wife cherishes the marriage and had always jettisoned people’s negative comments and wishes about the marriage. She so loves him that she declares her affection for him to be time defiant because, as she says, her love is for ever and for ever she will love him. In his defence, Mr Uchenna Nworah acknowledged the girl as his community girl but denied putting her in a family way. Taking this as an episode for sermonising before giving his verdict, the prophet drew attention to the beauty of the woman and remarked, in confirmation of the Bible, that the battle is not necessarily for the swiftest and that is why, according to him, there are many beautiful women who, in spite of their beauty, live by prostitution in hotels today while many ugly ones are happily married. He added that beauty in the inside is more important than outward appearance. He therefore enjoined his listeners to seek deliverance in this regard. On the issue in question, the man of God declared that their marriage is from God and the so-called pregnancy claims by Baby-Baby were a mere hoax minted out to create bad blood between the couple. In total relief, the woman wore a smiling look and reiterated her yearnings to bear him all her children and love him forever. Hugging each other in their renewed matrimony, both husband and wife were delivered.
The next prophecy mentioned a woman, who in her dreams would see herself cutting the head of a goat which, on completion, would turn
out to be one of her children receiving the machete cut. A few days after the dream, the affected child would fall sick and die. No sooner the prophecy was given than a woman emerged to claim the prophecy as hers because she had mysteriously lost three children in the process enunciated in the prophecy. Mrs Janet Peter from Kogi State confirmed the prophecy for herself and added that she had visited many pastors in that regard, in the hope of getting deliverance but all in futility. Developing this strand of the issue, the prophet told the church that it is hardly possible for any pastor to issue deliverance that is predicated on a dream or tale by a victim or sufferer. Deliverance, he submitted, is only possible and efficacious if the issue is revealed to the pastor by the Holy Spirit and the pastor divulges it by way of a prophecy to the person affected. Mrs Peter also disclosed her propensity to eat in dreams. The man of God assured her of deliverance. Many other prophecies, some of intriguing nature, were given and claimed by various congregants after which they were delivered and reassured of a more fruitful life in Christ. God, according to the prophet, has intended that His people should not grope in ignorance and consequently perish. He has, on the contrary, planned that a prophet should be among them. Through the prophet, God has intended to reveal essential information to them for their edification, survival and growth. However, this fact is not appreciated by many people and so, such people deride the prophets of God. The prophet is the only book after all books but which is not available in the market.
The prophet is the mind of God. He thereafter referred to a prophecy relating to Kenya which was issued the previous Sunday in the service. In the said prophecy, the prophet talked of seeing a place in Kenya where people drink and which would be attacked. It was therefore a warning sounded to those who would believe the prophet. This prophecy is confirmed in media reports that a police officer in central Kenyan town went on a shooting rampage killing ten people in different bars. The shooting spree happened late Saturday in Siakago 150 km North East of Nairobi.
The prophet went into prayer with the congregation as the Wise Men laid their hands on members of the congregation. He prayed that the light of God must shine no matter what the devil does, adding by way of more spirited prayer, that every power limiting the congregation must loose its grip.
The first fall-out from the mass prayer was a woman from Asaba, Delta State who in spiritual manifestation, confessed that she was ‘ogbanje’(an agent of satan, often born to die) and had been directed to use her powers to kill her husband. She however, according to her, would not do that because she loved her husband very much.
The second was a prophecy by the man of God in which he saw a royal father or king among the congregation wearing a charm. He therefore asked the unnamed royal father to come out into the open of his own volition. A frail- looking old man in regal attire emerged from the congregation in response to the prophecy and declared himself as the one at whom the prophecy was directed. The royal father declared his willingness to remove the charm and identify with Jesus Christ. However, in recognition of his age and regal status, the prophet never allowed him to be stripped for the charm in the public gaze. The royal father thanked God for pointing him out adding that the charm had rendered him senile and incapable of identifying any of his fifty children. He was however, told that his sickness was the result of a charm he trod on in the past.
Another prophecy was given relating to a witchdoctor who had killed seven of his children and instilled fear in the entire community leading, in some cases, to a pandemonium as the gods were on the prowl in the village. The man, as the prophecy revealed, had taken to his heels to the church to seek refuge. The witchdoctor revealed, in confirmation of the prophecy that his wife had been disabled by the same gods and might die soon if proactive reaction was not in the offing. By the action of the gods, according to the witchdoctor, they had disappointed him and he would disappoint them in retaliation by identifying himself with Christ and annihilating them. He said he inherited the gods from his fore-fathers and had built a house for them. He appealed to the man of God for deliverance so that he would survive the present threat to his life.
The man of God frowned at the old man for killing his children and also endangering the lives of the village people with the gods. As the issue unfolded, it became clear that many people in the assembly had not gone to their villages for the past ten years and more because of evil practices that witchdoctors in these villages had perpetrated on the innocent people. The man of God planned a mass prayer for such people who had been afraid to go to their villages so as to fortify them spiritually and encourage them to re-unite with their families in the village. Following the incessant plea by the witchdoctor who feared he might die if the man of God ignored him, the man of God pitied him and promised to deliver him for the Lord. Earlier, the prophet had intimated to him that he had not included some of his most powerful gods in the train of gods he displayed. The man of God mentioned some snakes and tortoises that constituted some of the most dangerous gods he had. The witchdoctor confessed that those ones were too dangerous for him to toy with.
The Sunday service had too much in package in form of deliverance and healing for one day and so a continuation service was arranged for the following day, Monday 8th November, 2010 beginning at 12 noon.
Over the past few weeks, the world has been stunned by the devastation caused by the Haiti earthquake disaster which has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives, wiping out generations of Haitians. It has been a horrific time for Haitians particularly for the countless number of orphans, and the injured. The magnitude 7.0 earthquake that struck Haiti in the evening of January 12th 2010, destroyed thousands of homes, workplaces, companies and government buildings including the Presidential Palace, crippling its infrastructure and bringing communication to a near standstill.
In response to the humanitarian crisis in Haiti, an Emmanuel TV Relief Team has been sent to the disaster stricken area with the help of substantial donations from Partners of Emmanuel TV. The professional team include a medical doctor, a nurse and midwife, a child specialist nurse, an HIV specialist nurse, a mechanic and chef, a pilot and mechanical engineer, a cameraman, evangelists and a humanitarian worker.
Emmanuel TV chartered a cargo plane which took off from Miami, Florida, taking emergency aid including medical supplies and equipment, foodstuffs and other essentials to one of Haiti’s worst hit areas.
The team right now is already at work in Haiti setting up a field hospital in order to give medical care and relief to those in critical conditions.

A story in Article Source concerning the Emmanuel TV Haiti Earthquake Relief team who are currently in Haiti with medical personnel and foodstuffs to assist the victims of the tragic earthquake and help in rebuilding the nation…
In the wake of the recent devastating earthquake which descended on the nation of Haiti, there has been outcry from the world for people and nations to reach out to the affected areas of the country with relief materials which could help alleviate the sufferings of the people of Haiti. A large number of organisations, governments and individuals alike have been quick to respond to this call by sending in their donations in cash to help the people of the nation of Haiti.
The humanitarian crisis that the people and nation of Haiti have to come to terms with has become clearer to the world with the commentaries of the media reporters on ground, who have reported that the efforts of more contributors are required; not only in cash but much more in their physical presence, so they can assist and support the efforts of the powerful nations of the world.
Lending a voice to this group of people is Prophet TB Joshua, the General Overseer and founder of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Lagos Nigeria, and the founder of Emmanuel TV. Having sent a cargo plane with relief materials to the nation and people of Haiti, in a bid to assuage the distress of the people and nation of Haiti, Prophet TB Joshua has now come out to speak to the world to trail the same path.
Quoting from the Holy bible, in the book of Matthew 25 vs. 45, he explained that it was imperative that everybody sends in their own support to the people of Haiti at this time e of trial in the lives. He underlined the impact of the earthquake on the lives of the children of Haiti, saying they were the future of the nation of Haiti. He stressed the role of love in the life of a true Christian, by reading from the book of 1st Corinthians 13 vs. 13.
Sequel to his first statement, when he announced to the church congregation that the cargo plane that delivered the relief materials had successfully landed in Haiti. He also stated that the team of Emmanuel TV partners had started efforts to build a community clinic, which he noted had already taken delivery of the first baby, named Emmanuella at the Clinique Emmanuel.
Hear him: “I am TB Joshua, on behalf of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations family. I pray to God to richly bless you, in Jesus name, Amen. Thank you for being part of our broadcast today. You would be blessed as you receive the words of God. May the lord bless you abundantly as you help the Haiti people, In Jesus name. Thank you. As regards what is happening in Haiti, we cannot pretend not to see, we are one another’s strength.”
“We need to witness to a troubled world, remember Christ says, all our doings without love are nothing. A true Christian is known by his love. I will like to take you to the book of 1st Corinthians 13 vs. 13: And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Ultimately, we are called to respond to all human needs for that is what love entails. This does not however mean that the demonstration of love for the needy alone is enough to bring us to salvation, but it forms the basis for judging our level of kindness. Our level of faithfulness because looking the other way when our neighbour is in trouble is equal to rejecting Christ himself. The people of Haiti are in need!”
The children of Haiti, some of their parents are trapped as we can see them
“What can you give to them; give it for God’s sake. Love the children of Haiti for God’s sake and you will be loved. Give the people of Haiti for God’s sake and you will receive the mercy and favour of God. They are homeless, like sheep without a shepherd.”
Continuing, he said: “God has no hands but only our hands to reach them. Reach them; let his passion check our compassion. It is praise worthy not only when you give within your power but beyond your power. The people of Haiti need you at this time.”
“What can you do for the people of Haiti, do it for God’s sake. Looking the other way when your neighbour in Haiti is in trouble is tantamount to rejecting Christ himself. Whatever is in your hand now is a solution to the people of Haiti. I will like to take you to the book of Matthew 25 vs. 45: ‘Assuredly I say to you, whatever you do the least of your fellow brother that you do unto me.’ Now as a Christian whatever you do or fail to do to your fellow brother that you do unto God. Whatever you do to the people of Haiti that you do unto God. Help the people of Haiti, help the children of Haiti.”
Let us pray: “Lord Jesus, fill our lives with the fire of your love, help us to grow in love until it flows from our heart to others. You have taught us that all our doings without love are nothing. Grant us a loving heart, a will to give and share, to show we really care. Teach us lord to be ever kind, with saviour first in mind. In Jesus Christ name, amen.
“There are many charity organisations, reach them with your gift. Help the people of Haiti, Help the children of Haiti; they are the future of Haiti.”
He concluded by saying: “Prosperity comes when our aims and focus and desire is to build God’s kingdom, as you make a decision today to give for the gospel God will proper you today, In Jesus name. Send your seed and trust that we will deliver and God will bless you In Jesus name. I wish to stop here but I pray that the words of God will bless you in a special way, we meet again, bye!”

To give medical attention and succour to the wounded and children turned orphans by the devastating earthquake in Port-au-Prince, capital of Haiti, the Synagogue church last Sunday flew in a plane -load of medical and food supplies.
In partnership with some foreign charity organizations, the church with headquarters at Ikotun, a suburb in Lagos earlier dispatched an advance team last Saturday to the Caribbean Island. As reported by the church’s satellite television, Emmanuel tv, the advance team and the plane, a chattered cargo plane took off from Miami, Florida, U.S.A.
The cargo plane with registration number N587 and Emmanuel TV boldly emblazoned on it in blue letters also had on board a team of doctors, nurses and sundry humanitarian workers.
Reporting live for Emmanuel TV, Gary Tange showed viewers the warehouse where the medical and food supplies were stock piled before being loaded aboard the cargo plane.
The owner of the plane who also pilots it, Tito Menedez was full of praise for Synagogue and the General Overseer of the church, pastor T.B. Joshua. As televised live last Sunday afternoon before the plane took off, Tito said: “I’m happy to be part of this private effort. Prophet T.B Joshua and Emmanuel TV are great.”
During the church service on Sunday afternoon, prophet Joshua explained why Synagogue is in Haiti, saying: “Haiti has given me sleepless nights. If it means selling my clothes, I’ll do it. We are going to take care of the wounded, the sick, the hungry. We will also adopt at least 500 orphans and take care of them there.”
Speaking to Sunday Sun on the corridor of the church immediately after the service, prophet Joshua further said, “I’m looking at a convenient time to join our team in Haiti. We and our partners want to help.”
He put the cost of the project at $3 million.
