Eleven Children, One Wife, No Home Living Amidst Refuse And Rubbish For Over Three Years – TB Joshua

A stirring tale of glorious hope shining amidst the dark chasms of despair, of seperation and shame transfromed to unity and peace, of loneliness and homelessness replaced with life and love. Because God was involved…

Beyond the burdening, burgeoning bondage of homelessness, Mr Kefa Olatunji Taiwo had strayed slowly into the hazardous realms of hopelessness. At 60 years old, his family had scattered, any shred of dignity or self-worth left battered – his life in total tatters. Living in a bedraggled and dishevelled excuse for a shed, scantily assorted from stray aluminium and rotting wood, he had dwelt and dealt in the refuse grounds of Lagos, Nigeria for over three agonising years, surrounded by the repulsive stench of decay and debris, and the degrading stigma of a lunatic-like existence. Suicidal tendencies crept increasingly closer…

Living amidst the rubbish...

Living amidst the rubbish…

He suddenly halted before him, sensing something strange.“You are the one I am chasing.” Kefa looked up, astounded, dumbfounded. “Where is your family? Everybody is scattered in your home – and you are sleeping under the bridge, as an elderly man.” Extraodinary. His life-story unfurling uncannily from a man he had never encountered, a man he had never explained his predicament to. “You are getting old, an old man sleeping outside – and the family are scattered. Do you know where your problem comes from? This is what your mummy was telling you. The little money you had, you were going out – sometimes in the night you will not come home. You would take girlfriends. The little you had – you spent it just like that. This has destroyed you, destroyed your career.” How did he know? Whom had he told? “Something happened to you before this thing started. You met a mad woman – you never knew she’s a mad woman, and you slept with the woman. This is where the problem comes from. Today, when you sleep you see animals.” “Exactly, sir”

When Mr Taiwo walked dejectedly into The Synagogue, Church of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday 30th August, unbeknown to him was the unfolding of a divine design to break the chains of poverty and restore the bonds of unity within his crises-fraught family. The prophecy took him by surprise. It was so sudden, so direct, so precise. Pastor TB Joshua narrated his life to him, a brief 30 seconds of breath-taking revelation, a concise uncovering. As he was led through the beautiful sanctuary, a flame of hope licked within his veins. Could it be a way out had actually come?

Just imagine, just consider... what do you have to give?

Just imagine, just consider… what do you have to give?

The following week he stood again before the vast SCOAN auditorium, clips of his ‘home’ broadcast to the world live on Emmanuel TV. Evangelists had accompanied Taiwo to establish the veracity of the prophecy. The crowd gasped, beholding a dank wasteland with pigs scavenging among the filth, dirty infected water up to the knees, slime and grime at every turn. And a human being lived there, slept there, ate there, amidst the clutter and litter of decomposing garbage and gunk. “I’m useless,” the former furniture maker told the evangelists. “I just have to go and hide myself here when it is night. This is a shameful place, but I have no alternative – that’s why I have to stay here, living here as a mad man,” he said, explaining how local hoodlums had burnt his only property to ashes, forcing homelessness upon him.

Accompanied by his estranged wife and 11 children, all suffering a similar fate, Mr Taiwo watched on in reflective silence. “I believe if this man is helped, he will not go back to his past life – because he has tasted suffering and hardship,” said TB Joshua, addressing the whole congregation. “And I know if blessing comes now, he will be able to maintain it. Sometimes God uses foolish things. Don’t be surprised that among these children may be the president of tomorrow. Remember the past history, remember the heroes – many of them were raised from this kind of humble background,” he explained. “The first step is to get accommodation for the family, so we can bring the family together and let them live as one. To liberate these children, we must give them scholarships. And those who want to learn a skill – we will give them that opportunity.” The pastor, famed for his unrivalled and unbridled philanthropic works, explained that if the youths were left to themselves, they would probably end up in armed robbery or prostitution out of frustrations irrationalising influence. “Give them N300,000 and five bags of rice.”

Tears of shock and joy escaped from beneficiaries and congregants alike. Never before had Kefa seen or touched such money. “I didn’t expect this. Thank you, sir,” he quibbled, words failing to form his heart-felt expressions of gratitude. “This is what we are born for, this is what we are to live for, this is what we are to die for,” smiled the prophet, ascribing all glory to God.

“Someone out there is waiting for you for a lifetime,” Joshua counselled the enthralled audience and viewers worldwide. “You cannot afford to fail them; failing them is failing God. Remember, God is speaking to you through them, saying: ‘They are fatherless, so that you can be their father.’ ‘They are lonely, so that you can be their companion.’ ‘They are in want, so that you can be their benefactor.’ ”

T.B. Joshua re-unites a young girl abandoned in 1996

Prophet T.B. Joshua re-unites a young girl abandoned in 1996 at the age of nine over witchcraft allegations with her mother

Oghenefejiro Iworo, a female Urhobo cultural music dancer from Ugheli, Delta was only nine years old in 1996 when she was abandoned by Esther, her mother. Her reason for taking such drastic action against her child was because the little girl was alleged to have belonged to the evil world of witches and wizards.

Wild accusations of witchcraft...

Esther claimed that she consulted a witch doctor in Ughelli who confirmed that her daughter was a witch and was responsible for the hardship and misfortunes she had encountered in life, including separation from her husband.

TB JOSHUA FANS UK BANNER 640 x 480The witch doctor had taken the little girl to her shrine in Eku, tortured her by using a sharp knife to inflict deep cuts on her cheeks. The blood extracted from the deep cuts was then given to the girl to drink before she allegedly confessed that she was a witch.

The witch doctor then warned her mother that unless she disowned her daughter, she would use her power as a witch to kill her. She therefore advised her to take the girl to Badare Wegereva, her mother-in-law whom she alleged to have initiated Oghenefejiro into witchcraft.

Esther who believed what the witch doctor told her about her daughter was angry with her. She, therefore, did not hesitate to take her to her mother-in-law at the Ugheli market where she was trading, called her a witch and left the girl with her. Badare was dumbfounded as she could not understand why her daughter-in-law could publicly call her a witch and even accuse her of initiating Oghenefejiro into the witchcraft world.

Afraid that the little girl could actually be a witch as her mother claimed, Badare equally rejected her and took her to her maternal great grand mother who was in her 80s. Although the aged woman accepted her great grand daughter, she could not take care of her.

The little girl had no option than to become a street urchin. She roamed the streets begging for alms and later joined street kids who taught her how to smoke cigarette and having illicit affairs with men. No matter how Oghenefejiro tried to struggle for survival in life, the stigmatisation and abandonment by her mother continued to haunt her.

However, she later joined an Urhobo cultural dancing group but still lived a wayward lifestyle. It was in the process that she was impregnated by Dafe Iworo, a butcher from Ekakpame, Delta State who married her. Already, Oghenefejiro has given birth to a baby boy.

Unknown to Oghenefejiro’s mother, her decision to disown her own daughter 12 years ago had become a curse to her. Despite the fact that she left Ughelli for Lagos in search of greener pastures, Esther who is a caterer continued to have nightmares as she could not even fend for herself.

She, therefore, decided to seek divine intervention by going to the Synagogue Church of All Nations where T.B Joshua told her that she was suffering from a generational curse because she accused her daughter falsely of being a witch.

He told her that the curse would continue to haunt her until she is reunited with her daughter and begged her for forgiveness over the stigmatisation she was subjected to because of the accusation.

He also told her that the generational curse started from Micheal Akatakpo, her 60 year-old father who was an idol worshipper. Esther admitted that her father had similarly called her a wicth when she was nine years old. She, therefore, had to travel to Ughelli with pastors from the Synagogue Church of All Nations where they searched for her daughter until she was found. She also brought her father to the church where Joshua delivered them from the generational curse.

Joshua said it has become common for some parents to abandon their children in the streets over the allegation that they are witches. He wondered why a mother should subject her own child to such a traumatic experience. “It is rather unfortunate that a mother who carried a child in her womb for nine months or more, laboured to bring her forth, would later stigmatise the child as a witch and throw her away from her home into the street,” he said.

Worried by the trend, Stepping Stones, a UK registered charitable organisation is working in conjunction with the Child Rights and Rehabilitation Network, CRARN, to transform the lives of children who have been stigmatised as witches and wizards.

Gary Foxcroft, programme director, Stepping Stones Nigeria, said their aims are to tackle the problems of ignorance and superstitious belief in child-witchcraft as well as eradicate the torture of children stigmatised as witches.

Former Administrator of The Ghana Pentecostal Council John Nana Antoh Speaks on TB Joshua

Culled from 2nd edition of Faith Cometh, Former administrator of the Ghana Pentecostal council, John Nana Antoh testifies of the mighty works the lord is using TB Joshua to do in our present dispensation.

Senior Pastor, Bible School founder and a former administrator of the Ghana Pentecostal Council, Rev. John Nana Antoh, shares with Faith Cometh how his spiritual life took a dramatic turn as a direct result of his encounter with someone who didn’t just preach the Bible, but made it work.

FC: Can you introduce yourself to us?

Rev. Antoh: My name is Reverend John Nana Antoh, am a professor of theology and director of a school called the Religious Academy in Ghana. I am also the senior pastor of a church called Berea Christian Center.

FC: When did you first come to know about the SCOAN?

Rev. Antoh: In 1997, I was the administrator of the Ghana Pentecostal Council. At that time, the man of God wanted to come to Ghana for a crusade and the Ghana Pentecostal Council were asked to host him. As of then, nobody knew him in Ghana. I had been a pastor for several years but I never heard the name T.B. Joshua. When he said he wanted to come to Ghana some Nigerian churches sent their pastors to Ghana to ask our council not to accept him because they said he was an occultist. So, at the beginning, we were very lackadaisical in accepting him.

Former Administrator of The Ghana Pentecostal Council John Nana Antoh

Also a few Nigerian ministers had come to swindle the council before; so we had a very negative impression about Nigerian ministers. Now his own countrymen were coming to tell us: “Don’t accept that man; he is an occultist”. The man of God sent another group to us, saying that he was ready to pay for four pastors from the council to come to the SCOAN, stay for any number of days to see for themselves. So, some senior pastors were chosen and stayed there for five days. When they came back to Ghana, they said: “Listen, this is from God; let us accept the man!” Some of us were arguing: “How can you use only four days to examine the man?” The council came together and had a vote and those who voted for the man of God to come to Ghana won. So, the man of God came to Ghana.

At that time, I served as an interpreter. I didn’t normally serve as an interpreter, but I was so curious, I wanted to get near to the man, as close as possible, so I could examine him. So I offered to be the interpreter. On the first night of the crusade, it was so wonderful! Of the number of Nigerian ministers I have known, they were very boisterous, rough and tough, but here was a man who was so gentle like a lamb. He came so gently, preached a very simple message and then said it was time for healing. He got down from the platform. I was even telling him, “if you go down from the platform the people are going to trample on you! Why don’t you stay on the platform to minister?’’ But he said, “No let’s go down,” I had never seen healing like that! Other ministers stand on top of the platform and pray, and if you get your healing by faith, you get it. But this one, he would go to the blind person direct.

Thousands came for healing and they wrote on the placards the kind of sicknesses they had. The first one he went to was an ex-service man, Brigadier Alijah Freeman – I remember very vividly; he had been blind for 12 years. I was watching very closely because I had ulterior motives; I wanted to be sure that he was not going to use any magic. He just took the placard and rubbed it on the guy’s face. The old man started shouting, “I can see like a baby! I can see like a baby!” The second person he went to was a cripple, just his leg. He said to him: “Come on – stand up!” and then the cripple jumped! I was so shocked; is it magic or is it a dream? He went to a third person. This was a woman who was brought from London. She was having a problem with her kidney and was paralysed. They had declared her hopeless, so they had sent her to come and die in Ghana. They didn’t even bring her out of the car; they had to drive her into the field. So I was following the man of God, and he just opened the door of the car; prayed for the woman and said, “Come out!”And the woman jumped out! I was so shocked!

What really surprised me was the healing of the very well known man in Ghana called ‘Big Boss’. He has a very famous restaurant called ‘Big Boss’. The man is a giant, about 6ft tall and very broad. At that time, ‘Big Boss’ had a serious problem with his kidney; he couldn’t even urinate. Hearing that the man of God was coming, his relatives brought him from the hospital, where he was awaiting an operation. On the field Prophet T.B. Joshua went to where he was, took his placard and prayed a short prayer: I then saw something I had never seen before – there were so many people in the stadium, but this man didn’t even feel shy. He removed the whole of his manhood and started urinating. He urinated for about 30 minutes! When he finished, he breathed and sad “Now, l am healed” So, l said “Big Boss how do you know you are healed? It’s not like cripple you can see walking: your sickness is internal. How do you know you are healed?” He said: “my brother, l tell you am healed! The way l was feeling before coming here. I don’t feel it. I couldn’t urinate for several weeks, but now l can urinate”. I told him: Go to the hospital to do a check up and see if you are really healed” He went and to the hospital and the doctor was shocked! He was totally healed. The following day ‘Big Boss’ came to the crusade field to give his testimony!

What actually surprised and made me to love TB Joshua was that Christ was the centre of everything he did. He would do all these wonderful miracles but after that he will say “l am not the healer. I only know the healer His name is Jesus Christ!” I said to myself, “My God if this man is not of God, who can he be? He is doing miracles and not taking the glory but giving it to Jesus’. The following day, after seeing the miracles, l went home and wept because l felt l had been too proud – so proud to criticize a man of God l have never seen before. That night, l wept bitterly. The following day l went to him – he knew what l was doing but he had a lot of patience with me. I greeted him and then had a short conversation with him. After that he shook my hands and told me “From today, we are friends!” Since then l have been calling him a friend that is closer than a brother. That has been our relationship since 1997.

FC: Do you have a personal testimony to share to strengthen our reader’s faith?

Rev: Antoh: During those days, l was very strong man, doing a lot of work as administrator of the Ghana Pentecostal Council. But one fateful morning in 2004, at around 2am, I wanted to go and urinate. Ass l was walking there, l suddenly collapsed; l didn’t know what happened. When l came around, l discovered that l had been attacked with stroke. It was a very terrible thing – my entire right side was paralysed. The moment l woke up, before even going to the hospital; l was rushed to the SCOAN because everybody knows l know TB Joshua. It was really a matter of death when l was brought here. The man of God ‘went to heaven for me’. I stayed here for 10 days. The man of God prayed for me and took care me and within 10 days l could begin to walk. He said: “Now if you don’t go home, your wife may think something bad has happened to you. So for the sake of your wife, go home nothing will happen to me”. I was afraid but he encouraged me. When l went home, l said: “I wanted to know exactly what happened to me” So l went to the hospital for a check-up and they did a CT scan. When the specialist looked at me, he was amazed. He said: “How can you be alive?” The whole of your brain is full of blood. The man thought l could not hear him, so he was speaking with the Pastor who brought me: How can he be alive? It is only a miracle that can keep this Pastor alive”. They took me home and l said: “Don’t take me to any hospital again” and l decided not to take any medicine. The doctor later assure me: “The way l, have seen Christ uploading you, l believe you will not die but medically impossible”. Later on another medical officer, upon seeing what l had been through, told me that it was the same thing Ariel Sharon, former Prime Minister of Israel through. And for years now still lying coma. It was at that time l realized what the man of God had done for me. I am forever grateful.

Life-Size Art Model of Ariel Sharon In A Coma

FC: so, the impact Prophet TB Joshua in your life is truly changing!

Rev. Antoh: Everything about TB Joshua is a model for me though l studied theology for several years, took several postgraduate degrees in theology, came as a professor of theology, set up a Bible school , until l came to TB Joshua all have been teaching was theory. I came to the Synagogue and saw the Bible demonstrated. The things you read in the Bible – you see them here! That’s why am so surprised that there are people who can have the audacity to talk against the man of God. They can do that because they don’t know. I am sure anybody who is criticizing TB Joshua has never met him personally.

FC: So, in summary what are the lessons you have learnt from the man of God

Rev. Antoh: One thing l have learnt is how to make the centrality of Christ the most fundamental in a person’s life. When l see TB Joshua, l see Christ in him Christ in undeniably the centre of his life. So the greatest thing l have learnt from him is to make Christ the center of my life.

TB Joshua – Love In Action

TB Joshua - Love In Action

He was born in an unusual circumstance in the rustic and sleepy community of Oosin, Arigidi-Akoko, Ondo State. His birth was foretold about a century ago by Balogun Okoorun, a great warrior and farmer, who prophesied that from that rustic community would emerge a man who would be powerful, famous and have great followers. Though his biological parents had no inkling about it, his birth was an unusual one as he stayed 14 months in the womb as against the normal nine months. Born June 12, 1963, he was christened Temitope Balogun. He is today better known as Prophet TB Joshua, founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations.

Years after his birth, and having been prevented by poverty from having tertiary education, Joshua refused to say die and to Lagos, the city of aquatic splendour, he came. There he put into use the raw knowledge in him by being a private home teacher for some rich kids. As if in line with the prophecy of Okoorun at the back of his mind, he was always telling his pupils that one day he would become a great man. Today, he is not just great, he is helping others to achieve greatness.

Indeed, Joshua is like the proverbial prophet who is not so much honoured at home but highly esteemed and honoured across the globe, including Europe, Asia and the United States of America. His preaching, which is accompanied with signs and wonders, is criticised by many other men of God on the local scene, but this has not deterred Joshua from doing the work of the Master, Jesus Christ. In short, he has taken the message beyond preaching to providing for the weak, the poor, the rejected and the forsaken. “With the increasing rate of orphans and the needy in the society, the church cannot afford to sit on the fence anymore,” he states.

In this interview, the man of God sheds light on how God has been using him to cater for both the physical and the spiritual needs of the people. Excerpts:

What are the challenges of being a man of God in a country like Nigeria?
Let us put it this way: what are the challenges of being a child of God? Because if you say ‘man of God’, we are being personal. Well, the Bible says we are in the world, but we are not of the world. We are just passing through. I am a stranger here. So, what do you expect of a stranger? We are in a danger zone.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations regularly caters for the less privileged. What informed this?
The Bible says we will begin to succeed with our lives when the pains and problems of others begin to matter to us. In the book of Philippians 4:12-14, Paul the Apostle said, “I know what it takes to be poor, and what it is to have more than enough. In verse 12, he said, “I have learnt the secret of being disciplined, so I am content,” content in the sense that before you can become what you want to become, you must know what it takes to be poor and what it takes to have more than enough. If you have not tasted poverty, you will not be able to manage blessing when it comes. If you have not tasted humiliation, you will not be able to manage honour when it comes. It is better to say long in the dark so that we can recognise the light when it comes. Also in verse 13, it says, “I can do all things,” which means I have the strength to take care of everything. It is difficult to take care of the poor if we don’t know what it means to be poor.
What informed your passion for the needy?
The Bible says, “Watch and pray…” – it means you need to look around before you pray. If there are people who need your help, do whatever you can to give them relief: love them. After this, pray – and your prayers would be answered. I know what it is to be in need. I have once been in this situation, asking for help. I know perfectly well what it means to be in need. I have tasted poverty, humiliation. I suffered dejection, neglect and what have you. But today, I am a product of grace. I do not blame anyone for being poor; I should not blame anyone for being humiliated. The fast runner does not always win the race.

How long have you been involved in helping the destitute persons at Okobaba?
I have been involved in this project for 17 years. Today, many of these destitute persons that I helped to school, to the glory of God, are graduates. They are well positioned in their various places of work. Recently, one of them called from Kano and said, ‘don’t I know him?’ I asked him to come down to Lagos and when he did, I discovered he was one of those I assisted to school then at Railway Crossing when he was following his father to beg for money. He is a Muslim. He told me that many of them have graduated and are working now.

The set of people that were given school uniforms are a different set. You could see that majority of them are of primary school age. There are others, a hundred plus, that are with in the age bracket for secondary schools, and their uniforms have been given to them. When I saw that there is no one to take up this responsibility, I charged myself to do more because there is no amount of price one can pay that is enough. We thank God for the privilege to do this. In a month, we spend between N2 million and N3 million to cater for these people. My appeal to the government is to come to the aid of these people by renovating their habitation at Okobaba and providing more accommodation. The children cannot continue to live there. We cannot do it alone. We need good people, inspired people and other corporate organisations to build a future for these children.

There are other projects I have also been involved in. I gave a building to the Muslim College, a school I once attended. There is also the distribution of food items and money for the aged, depending on their conditions and needs. That is also extended to other places outside the country. We begin to succeed with our lives when the pains and problems of others matter to us.

The projects that I undertake have helped me not to live a flamboyant life: having fleet of cars, houses and the rest. It would surprise you that I don’t have a car or house of my own. Even the house in my hometown, I have not been able to complete it for the past 10 years. It is not that I don’t have money to build it, but I consider first the needy around me. My own is to eat, sleep and ensure the work of God is going on. There is nothing to be excited about in life.

What other plans do you intend to pursue apart from what you are involved in now?
I want to have a standard hospital to help the poor and the destitute, build standard schools for the destitute: primary, secondary and the university. I pray that God will give me the grace to do it.

In achieving your aim of building schools, are you going to acquire hectares of land and centralise the schools, or the schools would be built around where the students stay?
The weak have not hope, but Jesus is their hope. It is not my plan, it is God’s. Man proposes, but God disposes. God will give us the directives to be followed. The whole essence of this is to save our society from hoodlums and other social vices that may result if these people were totally neglected. If you ask armed robbers how they started, you will be shocked at the story of their lives.

Your ministry to the aged, how has it been faring?
The aged deserve all that can be given to them. Some of them are very old, in their 80s, 90s and 100s. Some have lost their children – no one to cater for them. We have made provision for monthly stipends for the aged. Bags of rice and other food items are distributed to them from time to time. This we have done to play our part in making them enjoy their old age. Not only the aged, we also have widows and dwarfs. We have paid school fees for many of them and render assistance from time to time. The widows, as well as dwarfs, have special programmes from time to time. The widows, as well as dwarfs, have special programmes in the church to meet their needs. We have been doing this also for many years.

Many other men accumulate wealth for the future; here you are spending yours on the people. Are you not scared of the future?
I don’t have any money. If I have trillions of Naira today, there would be a trillion people around me to share the money with. I live my life as if there is no tomorrow. I sincerely believe that great man have great habits. This is my habit. I know everybody will give an account of what he or she did on earth. My reason for not being after wealth is because my desire and focus is on my destination. Whatever I am now, whatever I achieve now, I don’t concentrate on it. Therefore, there is no reason for wealth accumulation. Our spiritual walk with God is essential and should be paramount in our heart.

It is not every man of God that is into philanthropic gestures such as helping widows, dwarfs and the destitute. What are the things you think men of God should be doing for nation building?
Well, a point of correction – I want you to know that every man of God has habits. When you read your Bible, habit is a gift from God. If you are not a copy, you begin to do uncommon things because you take your directives from heaven. It is not what somebody has done before that you begin to do again and again. There is what we call supernatural gift of God and natural gift, and when you look at it, you see that divine wisdom tends to contradict the design of natural events. So, it is not just wisdom in the practical sense of it; it is pure wisdom of God. If you have such wisdom, others can copy; it is not for you to copy. I cannot do anything without the help of the Holy Spirit; I cannot do new things without the help of the Holy Spirit. So, the Holy Spirit teaches us new things. His mercies are new every morning. There is no repetition. We are created to change our world. There is no way we can change our world when we keep repeating what others have done. There will not be new things in the world if all we do is repeat what others have done… I think everyone has a calling. Ours is different from others. The way and manner God executes His plan in our lives differs. If others are not feeding the poor, it does not mean they are not people of God.

Can you shed more light on what the church has done in the area of nation building?
Like I said, if I begin to tell you all these, then it will look as if I’m boasting. I should not boast in what I am doing for God. I should boast in what God has done for me. Let’s give glory to God and thanks to God!

GOD’S WORD WORKING WONDERS IN OUR TIME

TO HIS POWER NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

TB JOSHUA

In a spirited sermon to awaken the congregation to the power of God, Prophet T. B. Joshua reminded the Church of the greatness of God and His ready disposition to forgive sins, however grievous some of these sins may be. In his words God is capable of doing anything and also forgiving any sin. To His power nothing is impossible. Breaking in on the choral music which had been reverberating all over the Church and to which the congregation responded in unison with elegant steps, Prophet T. B. Joshua enthusiastically spoke on the forgiving spirit of God with copious illustrations. In his words, the past is forgiven. We have seen a sinner’s character healed, the drunkard becoming sober, the harlot becoming chastened and the liar becoming truthful. “What then is the fear?” he asked the congregation. He spiritedly reminded his listeners that if they trust in God, that trust will save them. Trusting in the suffering of Christ is enough to save us, deliver us and make us whole. He concluded the sermon by advising the congregation to remain in trust.

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

Wise Man John Chi introduced his message with a series of questions.

How do we achieve a desired goal? Who wants to be saved? What must I do to be saved? He aptly referred the congregation to Acts 16: 29-32 which provided the answer to his questions: Believe in the Lord and you will be saved. According to him, God has promised salvation for whoever shall trust His Son. Race, age brackets, academic qualifications, wealth or any other attribute cannot save us outside Christ. If you are willing to be saved, Jesus is willing. Jesus brings hope and succour to those who trust Him. He is the bread to the hungry and road map to the lost. Whatever you are, you need Christ to be saved. God has a role to play in your salvation just as you too have a role to play. It takes your willingness and God’s ability to bring about your salvation.
Our hearts and minds must be reset to agree with God’s plan for our lives. You must get rid of those things that derail you from God. You cannot experience peace under the dominion of satan. Satan is sin. Another name for satan is sin.

Quoting Psalm 51:7 as a reference text the Wise Man admonished the congregation on the need to be cleansed of sins. According to him King David saw the need to be cleansed. Wash me with water whiter than snow and remove all impurity. David knew he would not have place in God’s kingdom unless he was washed from sins. In his sins, David could not see anything other than the fruit of sin: failure in the family, in the battle field etc. Unless you are cleansed of your sins, your blessing will receive challenges. The attitude of repentance and faith in your heart keeps you closer to God. Mistakes are correctable. If you make a mistake, don’t run from God; run to Him. Because David ran to God in spite of his sins, he remains one of the greatest Kings in Israel today. Your Father in Heaven has anticipated your sins and prepared for you. You have not committed an unpardonable sin. Our lives are in God’s hand and we cannot please Him without a thorough reformation of heart and life. God requires a heart that does not bear grudges. Doubts and unbelief put us on the wrong track. Jesus loves you just as He does any of His children. Jesus is able to forgive all our sins, he concluded.

THE SPIRIT OF APOSTLE PAUL HAS ARRIVED IN MACEDONIA

Wise Man, Harry and his wonderful performances in Macedonia attracted his comments. The prophet told the congregation that the crusade in Macedonia attracted a large turn out of participants. It was so wonderful and even comparable to those spiritually hosted by the prophet himself in Indonesia and Singapore. It had to be extended to the following day i.e. Sunday and Monday. Wise Man, Harry also revealed to Prophet T. B. Joshua his vision to be in Macedonia especially close to Paul and Silas’s prison for tourists to see the wonders of God.
A clip on the wonderful works being performed by Wise Man, Harry surfaced on the screen and the congregation watched with rapt interest.

RECONCILIATION OF BROKEN HOMES
Mr and Mrs Ifah brought out their children and Mrs Ifah, the spokesperson accused their daughter, Judith of witchcraft before the entire congregation. She narrated how a baby of hers died mysteriously after a period of excessive stooling. She painted a picture of lack of peace in their family and of the sickness of her husband which had defied healing.

The daughter, Judith Ifah confessed to being a witch and added that it was the result of the fruit juice which she accepted from one of her classmates. She said she told her mother the dream she had after taking the juice and her mother prayed for her. She revealed that the giver of the juice asked her to bring their baby to the coven and that was the cause of the baby’s death. She said that she ate the baby. She also revealed how she was advised to use a rope to tie her father to his bed and cause his health to deteriorate. All these feats would attract to her a second position in the witchcraft world.
In reaction, Prophet T.B. Joshua advised parents to bring up their children in the way of the Lord to have peace. The child in question was left in the hands of satan because of the parents’ carelessness. The prophet pronounced Judith a witch or demon possessed as presented by the parents.
He then asked the parents to lay hands on her and ask every unclean spirit to leave her. That was how Judith was delivered. The prophet however warned both parents not to call her a witch after the deliverances.

INTERNET VICTIM
A lady by name Memory, from Zimbabwe but living in South Africa confessed how she was hoodwinked promises of monetary offers on the internet. She was taught incantations which she mastered but none of the promises materialised. Instead, her marital home became bedevilled with problems to such an extent that she used the police to eject her husband from the home. She then pleaded with the man of God for deliverance. At the exclamation of the name, Jesus by one of the evangelists she fell down and was delivered.

ACCUSATION OF WITCHCRAFT
One Emmanuel Chijoke and his relations all of the Abraham family from Enugu complained about the problems of setback and deaths in their family attributing all this to their mother.
The genesis of the accusation was a crusade in Abuja at which one of Emmanuel’s cousins was a participant and where he was told by a man of God there that their mother was the brain behind all the woes in the family. The said man of God was then invited to Enugu where he confirmed his earlier vision that their mother was a witch and that only her head and shoulders was human; the chest down to the feet was vulture in appearance. Surprisingly to the family, their mother could not refute the accusation by the man of God. She complained that at that time, her eyes, ears and mouth were muffled and she could not talk.

She then challenged the family to take her to anywhere and they would realise that she is not a witch. This was the reason they came to the SCOAN.

In his verdict, the man of God pronounced the woman witchcraft negative and ordered the children to kneel down to her in apology.

FOOT ULCER HEALED
Before the prayer line, the participants of which were zoomed on the screen,
a lady, 20 year old Miss Sulman who was healed of foot ulcer came to give testimony and also made to show herself to those in the prayer line to reassure them of their healing

HIV AIDS TESTIMONIES
Three men and three women who were healed of HIV AIDS came to give their testimonies. Among them who spoke was 27 year old Mrs Motunrayo Sowemimo,

who was tested positive with Hiv aids type one in the Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja.

After the prayer line where she was declared free, she said she became stronger and ate with more relish.
She went back to the same hospital for another test but thanks to God, she was Hiv negative this time.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFICIARIES

Miss Oduwole Olayinka

Miss Oduwole Olayinka, a youth worker in the church who came bagged 1st class (Electrical/Electronics), University of Lagos also got a scholarship award from the Church to do a Master degree in one of the best universities in the world. She consequently applied for admission and was offered same in three good universities in the United Kingdom. These were the Universities of Southampton, Edinburgh and that of Surrey.

She picked the University of Southampton as the best and the Church paid a total sum of £13,900 as her fees. Later and in consonance with the man of God’s crave for the best, the University College, London, offered her admission. Without hesitation, she changed her mind and picked the latest offer. A total sum of £18,245 was paid as fees for her to start classes on the 11th of October 2010.
The man of God seized the opportunity to advise the congregation to always look for the needy to help rather than waiting at home for the needy to come to them. In this way, according to the prophet, they would not be helping the wrong people.

Condemned To Die, Destined To Live All The Way From Death Row Saved By Jesus Christ

ONE by one they led them out. Faces covered in black. Handcuffed. Their last seconds of life. Last moments of reflection. The last breath of this world. No time to even say goodbye. One by one their names were called. The other five had already gone – gone for ever – gone to the gallows. A cold sweat broke out on his brow. He was next in line. This was it. The end. The grand finale. The next few seconds would be the last he would ever spend in life…

The tale of Chuks Olisemeka is block-buster material. It could well pass for a best-selling fiction thriller. But this is no fiction. It’s the real story of a young man who came from condemnation to salvation, in both the literal and spiritual sense. The story of a man who came face to face with death in a way few people could ever imagine. The story of redemption amidst retribution.

From a humble home in Delta to wild parties in Lagos, dangerous dealings in cannabis in Tunisia and gun-training for armed robbery in the Saharan desert, from a condemned cell in Tunis’ maximum security prison to a Nigerian church he had never heard of before, here is Chuks’ incredible journey, in his own words:

Chuks’ incredible journey, in his own words

“My name is Chuks Olisemeka and I come from Delta State. When my mother was pregnant with me, she separated from my father. Later in 1991, my mother died of sickness. From there my grandmother took care of me. I never knew my father and hardly knew my mum, Mrs Josephine. In the year 2000 after finishing secondary school, I came to Lagos. I didn’t know anybody in Lagos. What made me come is that some friends came from Lagos every December with flashy flashy things, spending money. When I asked them, they said they went to Victoria Island.  One day I just decided by myself to come to Lagos, though I didn’t know anyone there and had no money.  I was only 20. Some people dropped me in Ojota. At that time I still smoked so I bought a cigar and began smoking. I saw one guy like me who now bought a cigarette. We got talking and he now asked me some questions. When I introduced myself to him, the guy said he would help me for accommodation. We bought Indian hemp together and he then took me to his house.

“Every night we went to the clubs and enjoyed ourselves. I was helping in his brother’s electronics business in Alaba. One day we met some guys who came from Tunisia. Those guys gave us the guidelines about Tunisia that time, but we never said we wanted to travel as we were enjoying in Lagos. Some months later, my close friend Chima suggested we both go to Tunisia and I agreed. We went by road through the desert. We entered from Libya, through Tripoli. Those guys we met gave us the address of their place in Tunisia. We met some guys there and a Nigerian guy now introduced us to one man who was dealing in drugs. He had some boys working for him. Every night he would give you 200 or 300 grams and you would go to the club and hawk drugs. Cocaine. At the end of the day he would give you $300. From there he introduced us to the business. We were moving with guys who were into it before and from there we got our own customers.

“After about eight months in the business, I met Jack, an Italian man. Every time the man would normally come to me and buy drugs; he would buy in quantity. He was a big man, and always came with his boys. My friend called me and said let us travel to Morocco and from there to Spain. But already that Jack said he would introduce me to his business, so I was not interested in going to Spain. After about two weeks, Jack introduced me to his business – robbery business.

“I didn’t know how to shoot a gun, so every morning he took me to the desert with some guys and taught me how to use a gun. We started going on operations. We go with information. Some people will come from Europe and land in Tunisia, and stay in a hotel – so the manager of the hotel would give us information, and we would go there and rob. After robbing, he would give me $5000. It was not only in Tunisia we robbed, but also in Libya – because they share a border together. We were based in Tunis. On one operation in a company, we got $800,000 – so Jack now gave me $20,000. I know tomorrow I would see more money, so I would go to the clubs, gamble, buy expensive wears and move with high-class babes. Then something happened in 2004.

“This hotel manager now brought information that one woman came from Holland who brought big money for a contract, and the woman lodged in his hotel. Our boss called us and said we should go to this hotel. We reached there around 10am. We were five – four boys and one Algerian girl. We met the woman and collected the money. Two of our members were down and three went up – it was a five storey building. On the way down, we just heard guns from nowhere. Two of our members were shot. They died there instantly. They now shot the girl, but we didn’t know the place where the bullets were coming from. We used one woman as a human shield to cover us saying – if you shoot again, we will shoot her – and we now managed to drag ourselves out and enter our car. As we started the engine, they started shooting again. We saw almost five jeeps pursuing us, police vehicles – blowing sirens. We got to a bend at the traffic lights. We were supposed to wait but because of the pressure, we moved on. One lorry coming from the other side collided full-on with our vehicle. It somersaulted. That is why I have these scars. At that time, I never knew that my friend who was driving was already dead.

“The policemen came, and rushed me to hospital. I was in serious pain – blood covered everywhere and I couldn’t even open my eyes. The following day, they put POP all over me. Three men came and started interviewing me, and I opened up for them. They wrote everything down. The following day, they took me to our building – Jack was no more there, because he heard the information. They searched everywhere. They saw some drugs and carried them, including three vehicles. They padlocked the building, and took me back to hospital.

“The following day, they took me to court. I still had POP all over, and they had to carry me. When I reached court, the magistrate looked at my condition and said they should carry me back to hospital. I spent seven months in hospital. After seven months they took me back to court, and tried the case. After that, they took me to prison. From prison, I still went to the court. In August 2007 my final judgement came. After the judgement, they sentenced me to death by hanging. I had already given my life to Christ in prison. This guy Mr Charles normally shared the Word of God with me. But after the sentence they didn’t take me back to the same prison again. They took me to another prison where they put those who are condemned to death. We were five inside the prison room. I started praying there.

“On 15th August, I dreamt and saw myself in this big church with someone saying, ‘Welcome to Synagogue Church, Emmanuel!’ When I woke up, I didn’t understand the dream. I’d never heard of Synagogue Church before. On 19th August, some men came with a lady. They started calling names. When they had called the name, they would put a mask to cover the person and handcuff him. They now carried him outside to be hanged. I had already said today is the day I would die, but I still had this hope that God would do a miracle. When it got to my turn, the woman asked – ‘Where is this boy’s paper?’ They started searching and finally said they could not see it. So she said they should go and find my case file, that if they didn’t find the case file, they should not take me anywhere. The men carried the other five for hanging. Only me was left in that place. A week, two weeks, a month went by and nobody talked to me. It was only me in the cell. Some men now came and took me back to the other prison.

“It was 2008, February. One day the warden called me and said they wanted to hand me over to the Nigerian embassy to send me back to my country. I saw about three men, wearing suits who asked me for my name. They now signed all these documents and told me to carry my load. They took me to the airport and one man followed me down to Nigeria. After about three hours, we arrived. They now handed me over to some men who ushered me inside a motor. A few hours later, I saw myself in Ikoyi prison. They searched me and then took me to the prison cell. I was still praying to God.

“Another year passed in prison. It was July 2009 and I dreamed again – Welcome to Synagogue Church – Emmanuel! It was exactly the same dream I had seen in the prison in Tunisia. But this time, I saw rain fall on me as I entered inside the church, and I rejoiced with people inside. But I never knew the place. I had never heard of Prophet T.B. Joshua. Two weeks later, one of the wardens called me. He said they brought some papers yesterday and that I didn’t have a case to answer, that I should be released. I was just surprised, shocked. He gave me one paper, and told me I should carry my load. I didn’t have anything to carry.

“As I left the gate, I asked God: where shall I go? Direct me – I don’t know where to go. Rain was falling and suddenly that dream came to me – welcome to Synagogue Church – Emmanuel. I asked the warden – where is Synagogue? He said it’s far, in Ikotun. I asked where is Ikotun. God has directed me there. He looked at me and asked if I had money. The man gave me N500 and told me how to get to the church. It was a Friday.

“I finally found the church. I met one man and asked him – how can I see the pastor here? He looked at me and asked where I was from. I told him from a very far place. He said I should come back to church early on Sunday. I was still wearing the clothes I had in prison. It was Sunday. As I entered the church that morning, I recognised it from the dream. Everything was the same as I had seen it in that dream. I prayed that God should direct the man of God to where I am. God finally directed him to me in the second service. After prophesying to about four people, he touched me and said you are a murderer – and not in this country but another country.  I had never met him before, but he knew me. He prayed and I found myself down on the floor. As he touched me, I believed all my problems had gone. That day I became a new person in life. The church now took care of me, gave me new clothes and a place to stay. God is really using that man (T.B. Joshua). Nobody in Nigeria can do that thing – you don’t know a person before and after praying for you – he puts you in his house, gives you money for clothes and feeding and treats you as one of his own. He is a real man of God.

“There are many things people can learn from me. God created everybody for a purpose. Instead of pursuing fast money which makes you go into crime in which you may die or find yourself in prison, you should follow Christ. Those who travel outside Nigeria and don’t know where they are going to or anybody there, there is no way they will not take to crime when they get there. It’s either you take to robbery or drug business or go into 419 – and after everything you will find yourself in bigger trouble.

“I regret a lot, because I wasted so many years in prison. If not the flashy things of this life, I would not go into all of that crime. If I had calmed down and given my life to Christ that time, by now I am supposed to know where I am going in life. But now – if God could give me another chance,  I will worship Him, praise Him all my days. I believe God really has something for me in this life. He has a purpose for my living.

Following Chuk’s arrival in the church straight from prison, he remained there for almost two months for a period of rehabilitation and reformation, receiving the message of salvation and learning about the ways of God. He was then given N120, 000, three bags of rice and a Holy Bible to start his life afresh.

TB Joshua Saw Train Derails In India

CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE CONFIRMATION

God continues to reveal Himself through His servants giving revelations of national and international importance. On Sunday 11th April 2010, during a Sunday live service at the SCOAN, Prophet T.B Joshua gave a prophetic message concerning a train that he saw being derailed in the nation of India. He said: “In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. As we were praying, I am seeing a train in the same place. I think something is wrong. This place – they need deliverance. A train – I am seeing it in India. A thousand people were inside. A train move out of rail and the whole people trapped. This is not even the modern one but the old one.”

That Sunday, towards the end of the service, Prophet T.B. Joshua called on the congregation and viewers worldwide reminding them to pray for the train in India which he had prophesied about earlier in the service. He said: “Open your lips. Remember to pray for this India train. It is very important. Love your neighbour as yourself. Fast and pray for the nation India. Take your time to do that. As you do that, the Lord will also do for you, in Jesus’ name.”

A month later, it happened. In the early hours of Friday 28th May, 2010, news broke out that a train packed with passengers derailed in India and slammed into a goods train in an apparent attack killing at least 15 people – a death toll which later rose to at least 81 as the rescue operation continued.

The train where the tragic incident occurred was in the exact country mentioned by Prophet TB Joshua in the prophecy – the country of India. News reported at least 81 people were killed with the death toll still rising and about 200 injured early on Friday when the Mumbai-bound passenger train derailed, after a part of the track was sabotaged, and was rammed by a goods train in a Maoist bastion of West Bengal. The passenger train was travelling from Calcutta to the Mumbai suburb of Kurla when 13 of its cars derailed. It was the third attack by Maoists on trains this year. Dead bodies were pulled out of the mangled wreckage where the two trains crashed in eastern India.

“In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. As we were praying, I am seeing a train in the same place. I think something is wrong. This place – they need deliverance. A train – I am seeing it in India. A thousand people were inside. A train move out of rail and the whole people trapped. This is not even the modern one but the old one.”

Home Minister P Chidambaram said the train derailment in West Midnapore appeared to be an act of sabotage but it was not yet clear whether explosives were used to blast the tracks.  “It appears to be a case of sabotage where a portion of the railway track was removed. Whether explosives were used is not yet clear,” he said in a statement. Indian officials gave different theories about the cause of the derailment.
Rescue workers with bolt cutters struggled to force their way into the most badly-damaged coaches to try and free anyone still alive inside. Paramedic teams treated the injured on the side of the track, while the most serious cases were taken away by air force helicopters.
Reports from the crash site described a scene of chaos with several passenger cars badly damaged and many dead and injured.
“A thousand people were inside. A train move out of rail and the whole people trapped.” Many passengers were trapped inside the mangled coaches. The passengers trapped in these coaches were crushed to death as the goods train engine rammed into it. Police, military and rescue services are currently still trying to free trapped passengers, whilst the death toll currently stands at 81 with over 200 more confirmed injuries. Helicopters have been brought in to help evacuate the injured to local hospitals, officials have stated. “It seems there are still a large number of passengers trapped in the carriages – dead or alive, we are not sure,” said Bhupinder Singh, the chief of police in West Bengal.
“There is a cut on the railway track and several compartments were derailed. At least four to five of them are badly damaged,” the state’s Home Secretary Samar Ghosh said, adding many passengers are still trapped inside the compartments.
Recall how the Prophet described the type of train that he had seen in the vision God had given him. “This is not even the modern one but the old one.”
The railway network is Asia’s oldest and the train involved in the incident was not the modern type of train but the old type just as the prophet had said.

“I think something is wrong. This place – they need deliverance. A train – I am seeing it in India.” The region in which the train crash occurred is considered somewhat of a stronghold for the Indian Maoist rebels, known as Naxalites, who have stepped up attacks in recent months. India’s 63,000-kilometer railway network, Asia’s oldest, is frequently hit by fatal accidents. As the Prophet said, something is wrong. This place they need deliverance.

Over two hundred injured passengers have been taken to local hospitals. The incident has been described as India’s worst rail disaster in seven years. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed his grief over the death of Gyaneswari Express passengers and announced that compensation would be given to the families of the deceased and also for each of those who were seriously injured in the incident.

We at Emmanuel TV and the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations pray for the families who lost their loved ones in this tragic event. We also pray for the nation of India, the government and its citizens that God would manifest His strength in their situation and that out of the ashes of this tragedy, the Lord would bring a new resolve, determination, and desire to uphold the cause of justice, integrity and righteousness.

THE POWER TO DELIVER IS IN THE NAME OF JESUS

Another Sunday Service at The Synagogue, Church of All Nations and all we have to say is ‘Thank You Jesus’! From touching family reconciliations, shocking satanic confessions to remarkable healing testimonies, it was yet another action-packed riveting service that proved beyond all doubt that Jesus is alive and His power is still at work today. Full of practical lessons for life, faith-building experiences, words of wisdom and the raw, real power of God, both the thousands of congregants at The SCOAN and the multitudes of viewers on Emmanuel TV would agree unanimously after these extraordinary events that Jesus is truly the same yesterday, today and forever!

In an enlightening message titled ‘The Name Of Jesus Has Power’ drawn from the scripture in Mark 9 detailing the account of the father of the demon possessed boy and his encounter with Jesus, Prophet T.B. Joshua explained, “There is power in the Name of Jesus indeed, but only among those who are committed to the glory of God.” He spoke of the need to have absolute trust in God, stating that some measure of trust would only enable us to do some, not all. “When we express the necessary trust in Christ Jesus, His duty, I mean, His work is to raise us from death to life and then restore the wholeness and fellowship,” he admonished. Speaking on the purpose of God’s power and its incredible effects on a person’s life, TB Joshua said, “One of the reasons God gives us His power is to confirm that what we are speaking is from Him… Once the supernatural power of God comes upon you, then something is going to happen to you that cannot be explained by the human mind.” It was a powerful message backed up by the prophet’s own extensive experience in the ministry. “When you see a good doctor, he should be able to explain himself when he gets to the laboratory,” he noted.

TB Joshua - Your rewards in life are determined by the problems you solve for someone else

After hearing God’s Word, it was time to move on to a more practical aspect – the ministry of reconciliation. In lieu of the recent confessions of families whose homes have been torn apart due to varying allegations and different situations, yet another touching case was brought to the light. It was that of Mrs Better Keke who had come to The SCOAN with a whole horde of villagers who had been sent to ascertain the truth from God. Before listening to their story, TB Joshua reminded the people of the need not to judge those they were about to hear from but rather learn from them. “Our response to someone who makes a mistake can also be a mistake,” he emphasised.

It all began, Mrs Keke explained, after the tragic death of a young man in a car accident. “At his funeral, a voice suddenly spoke to me telling me to confess I was the one who killed him,” Keke said. As the strange voice continued to speak to Better over the coming days telling her to confess what she did not do, her musical leader Evan. Elvis Osita confronted her that she had a confession to make, a revelation he said he came to after 30 days of fasting and prayer. As the voice grew within grew stronger, subsequent events led Mrs Keke to publically confess in a church that she was a witch and responsible for countless atrocities in the village, including the accident that killed the young man. In the same vein, she also accused one of her close friends, a teacher by profession, of witchcraft, an event that led to parents pulling children out of her school. In a whirlwind of events, others accused Evan. Elvis of masterminding the boy’s death and being a wizard. The situation had grown so serious that the king of their village in Delta decided to hear God’s opinion and find out who-is-who. Thus the large party had set out to The SCOAN to hear from Prophet TB Joshua the voice of God which would put a rest to the endless rumours and counter-accusations.

“When you look at your family, you have the traces of mental disorder,” the prophet said. Mrs Keke confirmed that one of her aunties was afflicted with a severe mental problem. “The spirit speaking to her is not that of witches or wizards – it is a brain problem. She’s not a witch,” T.B. Joshua declared. “If you ask her, she will tell you she has a chronic headache, and sometimes her eyes will be bringing water,” he prophesied. She confirmed it to be a reality. T.B. Joshua then prayed for her in the power of the Holy Spirit, commanding the spirit of mental disorder to leave. The truth had finally been revealed. As for Evan. Osita, the prophet said he has no trace of evil in him and was innocent of the accusation, but warned him about jumping to conclusions based on feelings and packaging them as spiritual revelations. The teacher who had further been accused, Mrs Gloria Uduarighe, was also vindicated by the man of God, who further assured her that the children would return to her school now the truth had been revealed. “My people of Delta, what they are saying against this lady are pure lies,” he announced. Hon. Alex Izogo, one of the representatives sent by the king, capped off the experience with a final word. “This thing has torn our community apart. But what you have said now is the final solution to this problem.”

More cases of broken homes and subsequent reconciliation followed, including that of Jubili Umerere whose two children had confessed responsibility for the calamities that had befallen their entire family. Her husband had gone to the extent of purchasing acid with the intent of killing the children said to have rendered them homeless and jobless, before they came to The SCOAN. The issue had severely affected the extended family, with the kids also confessing responsibility for the barrenness of Mrs Umerere’s sister Blessing Obarhua. After listening to their experiences, T.B. Joshua revealed that the children were not witches, but their images were simply being used by evil forces. He concluded in prophesying that Mrs Blessing would give birth to a baby girl, and the fortunes of the family were bright.
Following reconciliation came a time of prayer for deliverance. “There are three people in our midst who have evil spirits,” T.B. Joshua prophetically declared before ushering the people into a time of prayer. Almost immediately following the prayer, the power of God swept throughout the auditorium exposing the darkness in the lives of the people. A man, who simply called himself Tony, fell to the ground as the evil within him began to manifest. Later, during the second service, he shared his morbid experience. “I went to a herbalist in Anambra State, who made a concoction out of a premature baby and a human tongue for me to use,” he confessed. The charm was supposed to bring him good fortune but instead began to appear physically to him such that he ran away from home to Lagos. But each night, the concoction would appear to him in the guise of a demonic human being, demanding him to bring things in order to satisfy his thirst for blood. Two people died as a result, and out of fear for his life, Tony ran to The Synagogue.

As T.B. Joshua ministered to him in the power of the Holy Spirit, he prophetically declared that there was another brother in the midst of the congregation who possessed evil. Picking him out, a tall man dressed in white emerged from the crowd to be told by the prophet that he should bring the charms he had placed outside the church. In a mixture of shock and awe, the man turned and came out of the church subsequently to return minutes later clutching two plastic bags filled with charms. “You are a witchdoctor,” the prophet said, which the man confirmed to be true. Explaining how he had inherited the charms from his father, the man gave a chilling account of how a spiritual figure appeared to him every night demanding for his blood. The man of God said he would have to confess everything, and invited him to come back with his entire family.

As always, the prayer line produced some outstanding miracles, with the prayer of faith being offered and the power of God transforming people from sickness to good health. Among the many cases was that of Mrs Teresa Igwebo, a retired school matron who had been confined to a wheelchair for the past 8 years following a stroke and enlargement of the heart. The 64 year old who came from Enugu State could scarcely believe it when she was told to rise and walk in the name of Jesus, but supernaturally she rose up and took her first few steps of freedom. The joy beaming from her face on realising the pains were gone and she could finally walk, Mrs Igwebo thanked Jesus profusely for her remarkable healing.

Her testimony echoed that of thousands who came to The SCOAN on Sunday 16th May 2010 in sickness and sorrow only to leave in joy and freedom, knowing that truly – Emmanuel, God is with us! What a God we have to worship; what a Son we have to praise; what a future lies before us!

A NHS Registered Nurse Gives Report on the Emmanuel TV Haiti Earthquake Relief Project.

My name is Miss Bester Tsitsi Mazombe. I come from Marondera, Zimbabwe and I am based in the United Kingdom where I am currently working as a professional nurse and midwife. I also fellowship at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) London branch.

I returned on Monday from Haiti where I was part of the Emmanuel TV Haiti Earthquake Relief Team. I joined the team in the capacity of nurse and midwife. The earthquake occurred on the 12th of January. Soon after the earthquake the man of God, Prophet TB Joshua called for help from Emmanuel TV partners and members of SCOAN from its branches in the UK, USA, Nigeria, South Africa, Greece and Ghana in order to send help to the affected people of Haiti.  On the 1st Sunday after the earthquake Prophet TB Joshua asked for help to send a cargo plane with the much needed food and medical supplies together with the medical personnel and other professionals who would be needed to assist Haitians in this disaster. The whole relief team arrived in Haiti by the 25th of January 2010 with the cargo plane full of medical supplies, food, tents and water purification aids for example.

When we arrived in Haiti we saw firsthand the destruction that was caused by the earthquake.  Multiple schools, houses, hospitals and government buildings including the presidential palace were struck by the earthquake which has claimed an excess of 150 000 lives so far.  Those who survived ,many were left seriously wounded, homeless ,without hope and no more property or possessions in their name. Some were literally left with the clothes they were wearing on the day of the earthquake.

Bester Tsitsi Mazombe

Whilst in Haiti we wore our Emmanuel TV T-shirts and we were immediately recognized by viewers of Emmanuel TV in Haiti. They could not believe that the Emmanuel TV form Nigeria which they had watched on the internet   had come to help them in their time of need. When we informed them that we had been sent by Prophet TB Joshua of Nigeria they could not help but thank God for sending us to help them and sharing in their pain and sorrow.

In many spheres Nigeria has a negative image and very few people believe that any good can come out of Nigeria. Thank God that today that is not the case because through the leadership of Prophet TB Joshua and the deployment of the Emmanuel TV team in Haiti, Nigeria has a good name.

Before the earthquake a large population of people already had difficulty accessing clean water .Due to the earthquake the problem of water contamination has worsened especially in areas where dead bodies are yet to be retrieved. Due to the lack of clean water this has led to the increase in diseases and therefore it is vital and important that Emmanuel TV continues to support the people of Haiti with clean water, medical supplies and clinic services which we gave for example, primary care, wound management and maternity care. I am glad to let you know that the first baby born at the clinic we established, Emmanuel Clinic, was named Emmanuella in honor of Emmanuel TV.

As we worked with the people showing them love and compassion they were happy to share with us their history. Many of them are slave descendants of the nations of Nigeria, Ghana, Benin and Congo. Nigeria help these people of Haiti, they are your brothers and sisters. The people of Haiti left Nigeria more than 200 years ago and some left with their Igbo culture and gods whom they still share with Nigeria including aspects of their 1anguage Creole. Ghana, Benin and Congo, these people originated from your shores too, please do not forget them, show them that yes we are family. Haiti needs you more than ever.

I am happy to inform you that we have been supported by renowned organizations like the United Nations who gave us security by ensuring that the relief supplies we brought were safeguarded prior to distribution.

The Haitians are grateful and in awe of the work that we have started in Haiti that they want Emmanuel TV to remain in Haiti forever.

I thank God for Prophet TB Joshua, for carrying the burden of Haiti. By leading Emmanuel TV into Haiti, he has proved that God’s love, compassion, sympathy and provision know no bounds, race, color, faith, race or border. May the Lord continue to bless him as a man of great vision, leadership and a role model to other leaders?

On behalf of Prophet TB Joshua, the Emmanuel TV Haiti Earthquake Relief Team and Emmanuel TV partners, I would like to say thank you for demonstrating true love to our brothers and sisters in Haiti. May the Lord who sees your good work and marks your work reward you.

ALL THINGS BECOME NEW

On Sunday morning the 22nd of March 2010, people flocked to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, some came for healing at the prayerline, some came for the first time, others came to their usual seat being members of the renowned Church (whose service is broadcast live every week on their TV station, Emmanuel TV) to see the mighty power of God working in the Spirit.

Evangelist Evelyn Joshua (T.B. Joshua’s wife)

The service began at 9am with worship and praise, cultivating an atmosphere of faith in the huge auditorium. At 10am sharp, Evangelist Evelyn Joshua (T.B. Joshua’s wife) came out to give a message titled, ‘Walking In His Grace’. She spoke boldly telling us that, “The peace of conscience we derive from walking with the Lord, produces internal joy.” And that, “Rebuilding us requires our attention, commitment, our desire and obedience to God’s Word.” She also reminded us that “No one can succeed alone”. After around 40 minutes of preaching Evangelist Evelyn concluded by saying, “As long as we keep walking in His grace we will not be without the Father, without the Helper”.

The choir picked up again, then T.B. Joshua himself came out. After commending the message, he brought out the new anointing water and from the crowd’s reaction – something they have all been waiting for. He brought out three packaged waters in different coloured containers, orange – for fruit of the womb, green – for healing and deliverance and purple for blessing and prosperity. He explained that God can use any medium to express Himself and described the anointing water as a means to set one apart for God’s attention. As he was talking a queue formed of those who had testimonies to share after using the anointing water.

First up was Corporal Sugir Kabir Amos, from Anambra State, Nigeria who had broken both legs two years earlier in a motor accident. He explained that after the accident, he was operated on, twice – showing us photographs of when he was hospitalised and finally discharged with a walking frame.

We watched the video of him coming to The SCOAN with the same walking frame, slowly moving along with it, limiting him greatly. Next he was in the prayerline where Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for him and administered the anointing water. One minute he was sitting pleading for healing, the next minute he was standing, then walking, rejoicing at God’s mighty power that healed him in moments. Jesus Christ continues to show Himself strong in the lives of those who put their trust in Him.

Next up were a couple Mr & Mrs Okorie from Ebonyi state, Nigeria. The lady had, had the problem of ovarian cyst and multiple fibroid. She explained that when she had told the doctors that she wanted to operate – they asked her ‘why now?’ She said because the cyst was so large that people always asked if she was pregnant. A painful question for a lady who had been told by doctors that due to her condition she was unable to conceive.

After moving back and forth from hospital to hospital and after being operated on and then referred. She got frustrated and gave up hope for medical assistance. Then she watched Emmanuel TV where she saw men and woman of different nationalities who once faced similar problems as herself, now standing with their new baby giving testimony after using the anointing water given to them by T.B. Joshua. She immediately set out for the following service day with one aim in mind – to get some of the anointing water for herself. She came and received the anointing water for the fruit of the womb. One week later, her check up was due at the hospital. To the doctor’s and her great surprise, the medical report showed that the large cyst and multiple fibroids were gone! Not only that but she was pregnant! God can surely use any means to reach the needs of His people. What is impossible to man, is possible for God Almighty who is the same yesterday, today and for ever.

Many other testimonies followed and due to the large crowd it became obvious that using such means as the anointing water many lives could benefit from the saving, healing and delivering grace within. God continues to use everything He’s created. A pamphlet also went round to explain the use of the anointing water.

After the faith building testimonies, T.B. Joshua moved directly to the prayerline where many sick people were waiting for prayer. Among them was Pastor Rowland Ekwerike who had come all the way from Indianapolis, USA. He had lost the ability to speak clearly – as a minister of the Gospel this posed a great obstacle. T.B. Joshua poured the anointing water into his mouth and moments later he began preaching powerfully to the congregation! Just as Jesus Christ used Paul and anything that came into contact with him – to heal all manners of sicknesses and diseases. As it was, so it is. Jesus’ power is not stopped just because He is no longer visibly in our midst. His power and effectiveness are even greater today because He can be present in all places at all times by His Spirit.

After the prayerline there was a mass prayer session where more people were healed and set free both inside and outside of the auditorium where an over flow crowd was gathered.

The first service came to a close at 2.30pm and the second service soon followed where many prophecies and more instant testimonies were given. After this for those who remained, T.B. Joshua distributed the new anointing water. Some even at the mere receiving of the carton began to shake, roll and manifest – God chooses grace rather than works. He does as He wills and can use any medium to express Himself. Blessed, refreshed and made new was the mood that people left the auditorium satisfied and confident that as Christians, no matter the situation, Jesus Christ can see them through, after having so many cases to strengthen their faith. God keeps giving us reasons to praise His Holy name. Keep watching Emmanuel TV for rebroadcasts of the service as T.B. Joshua says, “Better is not good enough; the best is yet to come!”

Prophet TB Joshua – A Shining Light For All – Not a Conman….

Prophet T B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Nigeria needs no introduction; a man of God with immense gifts and abilities. Yet, considering the positive roles he is playing on the world stage, some people still harbor nefarious reasons to doubt or hate him.  In 2009 alone, there was a wave of attacks on the man in the Synagogue from some of his counterparts in the vine yard and some others who have not even met him. Yet, God continues to use him greatly to set the captives free both nationally and internationally.

Prophet TB Joshua - A Shining Light for All

Having followed the defamatory commentaries of some of the so called Christian leaders in Nigeria and in some other African countries, I was able to know that the primary reason behind the false accusations against this anointed man of God is simply to create a sense of confusion and fear in the minds of the masses and their innocent followers in order to keep them away from flocking to the Synagogue Church of All Nations for deliverance.  These Christian groups appear to have abandoned the basic biblical rules and developed a modern day thug-like instinct of ‘do or die sermons’ against Prophet TB Joshua whom they regard as a threat to their parishes.

These gangs work in collaboration with freelance agents, some news media and use of internet systems to spread false information and defame the person of Prophet TB Joshua. They say, ‘he is satanic, an occultist, a conman, we don’t know his mentor; we cannot associate ourselves with him’.

For once, I tend to agree with them for not associating themselves with him because it is clearly written that ‘Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Believers? – 2 Corinthians 6:14-15

These groups of Christians are happy in appointing themselves as a judge over others and by so doing have trampled under feet one of the cardinal principles of the teachings of Jesus Christ in Matthew 7:1-3 which states, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.  3“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

It is interesting to note that Jesus Christ was also accused by the religious leaders of his time for being a threat to their establishments. They rejected the son of God and accused him of being possessed by Beelzebub the prince of demons, Luke 11:14-36.

In the midst of all the falsehood, Prophet TB Joshua has maintained a dignified silence and continues to grow from strength to strength. In some of his statements, Prophet TB Joshua would say ‘love those that hate you and do not pay evil for evil’.

It is evidently clear over the years that his accusers have not been able to obtain the level of God’s achievements known in the life of Prophet TB Joshua. Probably they need to be informed that the Almighty God does not consult with mere mortals before He create, elect or anoint anyone to represent Him on earth.  The example of God’s authority and wisdom is seen in the book of Jeremiah:  “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

In conclusion, I feel rather sorry for his accusers, some having obtained good degree of academic education, some from well established backgrounds; whilst some are having good command of English language and power to pull large crowds, but here comes a humble Prophet TB Joshua who cannot boast of good education or let alone speak fluent English language, and God took delight in him.

If I were one of his accusers I would have petitioned God Almighty to know why He has chosen Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Nigeria but not anyone of us.

Further, I have provided hand-full compilations of some of his ministries’ activities in 2009.

Our vision is to produce and air first class programmes that lead people of all ages, all backgrounds, all repute and all cultures to salvation.

PROPHESY

The book of Amos 3:7 tells us that God does nothing without first revealing it to His servants. Therefore, a true prophet of God is a communicator between the visible and invisible world. Just as The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations is a ministry of all nations, so too, God continues to use Prophet T.B. Joshua as a mouthpiece to the nations. Numerous prophetic words of both national and global concern have been given by T.B. Joshua and confirmed by the events that followed. In this section are some of the recent prophetic messages revealed during the live Sunday services at The SCOAN that have come to fulfillment.

“Do what is good to change the bad you see” – T.B. Joshua

Headed by Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV team, Another Ministry is committed to:
· Feeding, educating and providing necessities of life for the poor.
· Providing educational funds for promising students.
· Taking care of the elderly.
· Building schools and classrooms.
· Giving love and hope to the needy.

Knowing God is not only seeing His works, but learning His way. His way is love, kindness, hope and goodness. Therefore, we should let love be uppermost in our hearts because all our doings without love are nothing. Another Ministry shares the love of Jesus Christ to the less privileged and needy. Join Another Ministry to feed the hungry, bring relief to the poor, support the weak the handicapped and bless the needy.
James 2:14-17 – “What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
Remember, nothing is too big or too small to share with others. Build your life around your contribution to others because your contribution to others is an assignment from God.

Instead of criticising our sick society and our fellow men – do what is good to change the bad you see and make a tangible contribution in the life of someone who needs help. We should be known as people who are for good, and not just against bad.

1 John 3:18 – “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

Sometimes an opportunity is all that is needed… My diary and how I met TB Joshua.

The following is an account from my diary, Thursday 19th November 2009.

At about 9:00pm on 19th November 2009, after visiting my friend at Ijegun, I was driving to Mile 2 on the Ikotun – Ejigbo road when I suddenly observed that I had a flat tyre, just close to the Synagogue bus-stop, of the ever popular Synagogue Church of all Nations, the church headed by the controversial Prophet TB Joshua.

SYNAGOGUE CHURCH LAGOS

While trying to fix the tyre as quickly as possible so as to get home and observe my rest for the day in preparation for the next day’s job and activities, I observed that a large crowd had gathered at the gate of the church. They were shouting at the top of their voices and hailing the hero of the recently concluded FIFA U17 world cup in Nigeria, Sani Emmanuel and his team mate Ogenyi Onazi. I had previously read an article and also an interview granted by Sani Emmanuel, where he declared that he was an altar boy at the Synagogue, and so I was not completely surprised. As the shouting persisted, I decided to have a close look to know exactly what the crowd was cheering at.

On getting there, I noticed that the two Eaglets were posing with some persons who were gathered inside the beautiful water fountain outside the church entrance, for photograph shots. The crowd’s enthusiasm increased when the much sought after and highly criticized Prophet TB Joshua joined the gathering in the photo shots. On seeing the large crowd that was on the increase as the each second went by, the Prophet invited everyone of the crowd to come into the church premises and have an opportunity to see the boys live and direct.

Once inside the auditorium, the crowd continued to build up, as expectations grew. TB Joshua started interacting with the crowd and sampling the opinions of individuals concerning the performance of Sani Emmanuel and Ogenyi Onazi in the competition. Those who stood up to speak were full of praises for the duo for their contribution to the success of the team. They also prayed for both of them to get the nod of top European football clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea Fc, Arsenal Fc, etal, and get signed into their team.

Then came the moment that all were waiting patiently for; Sani Emmanuel and Ogenyi Onazi walked into the auditorium to join the ecstatic crowd. Dressed in the official playing kits of the National football teams of Nigeria, they both thanked the crowd for their support and prayers during the tournament, and asked for more prayers as they believe that there are still more hurdles to cross in the quest for the peak of their careers.

After the speech and greetings by the duo, Prophet TB Joshua thanked the crowd for their support and ordered that they all be provided with refreshment before they would leave the premises. Cold drinks were immediately served to each person in the auditorium. Just as we were all beginning to thank Prophet TB Joshua for his kind gestures, he dropped what was to be the biggest surprise of the day; announcing that every member of the crowd would get the sum of N500 before leaving the premises. The crowd went wild on hearing this and showered praises and prayers on the Prophet.

I went home with my N500, and the drink that I had. It was nice to have an opportunity to meet the duo just after they awed the world. And it was good to meet Prophet TB Joshua for the first time. I know that the money might not be a big deal for me, but I considered the people in the crowd, who perhaps had no idea where their next meal would come from, having the opportunity to get the sum of N500 just because they were fortunate enough to be there at the time.

A GREAT CHAMPION [T.B JOSHUA]

You can champion the cause for change. A champion is someone who helps others achieve their goals and realize their dreams – someone who is passionate about the success of others. A champion fights not his own battles but battles to win for others.

tbjforbanner
TB Joshua

A champion is an advocate and a defender; a leader and a deliverer who fights for the rights and honour of others and not for self or personal aggrandizement. Moses was such a man; he was raised by God not to deliver himself but to deliver Israel. It was David who stood up and killed the giant and brought the fear of Jehovah upon the philistines {1 Sam 17:20 – 58}. He also fought for the less privileged because he was a CHAMPION.

A man that carries all these attitudes of a champion does not do it on his own ground; it comes with the grace of God. There are many great champions in the world today, with various gifts of their own to make people successful in their future and career path.

There are some people like this that we can’t forget and even generations yet unborn will always talk about them.

Let me start with the life of T.B JOSHUA, ‘the man in the synagogue’, how he normally helps people spiritually, physically and emotionally with no call for alarm, all in the name of God. The sick get healed, widows are filled with joy and orphans are made to be happy without them thinking that there is nobody, but GOD the father of ALL that sees them through from the scratch dust to the top through the life of T.B JOSHUA.

TB Joshua is a man that gives people faith and believes that, there is hope and there is nothing that is impossible for God to do. No man succeeds alone; everybody needs good people around. No matter the situation you find yourself as a Christian, whether you have or not, you are destined to make a change in someone’s life. But every new season brings a new surprise; the more faithful and astute of us would call it fate, or inevitability. This season, it has been T.B JOSHUA.

The more you spend more on others and less for yourself i.e. when you bring joy to the faces of people that need what God has blessed you with – it’s a real privilege because we are blessed to bless others. Irrespective of your trade, position or place, we are charged to be a champion today.

God has brought us into that place of influence not to be served {Rom 13:1}. In other words, He wants us to be a champion, a role model and a deliverer. So, let us be passionate about the welfare, success and prosperity of others; fight for their rights; be their advocate and defender – champion their cause, let people see you as a favour. Know that you can be the catalyst for a change. Emulate great champions like T.B JOSHUA. You can inspire a change. Remember, it only takes a spark to light up a forest. God want you to be a champion for your world.

GHANA FIFA WORLD CUP VICTORY: TB JOSHUA DID NOT GLORIFY HIMSELF

“Is it Africa? Is it Africa? It is!” These were the words that came from the commentator’s mouth in the dying seconds of that historical game – it was a moment which will be forever etched in the hearts of all those that watched the match. Friday 16thOctober, 2009 was a special day for all Africans who tuned in to watch the live World Cup Match – Ghana’s Black Satellite’s versus Brazil. Ghana became the first African team to win the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt. It was indeed Africa! With celebrations underway in Ghana and other nations of Africa, a much publicised issue seemed to overtake and almost overshadow the African victory. Rather than news media focusing on the African victory, TB Joshua became the focus of their attention.

TB Joshua had apparently spoken to Coach Sellas Tetteh before and during the match and with his prophetic insight guided the Black Satellite’s to a World Cup victory through telephone conversations by specifying which player should take the penalty shoot-outs. Everything was recorded and played during the live service on Emmanuel TV with footage showing TB Joshua speaking with both Coach Tetteh and the Number 10 player whom he advised should play the first penalty. It was a surprise to many. Controversy was sparked.

Many Ghana media criticised TB Joshua of proclaiming he was the reason for the Black Satellite’s victory against Brazil. Angry insults were hurled at the Nigerian Prophet and things really got out of hand with many believing that this event had undermined men of God in Ghana and Ghanaians in general. Knowing that there are always two sides to a story, it was quite surprising to hear little from the accused himself – TB Joshua. Perhaps being a man of God, he chose not to retaliate. Having listened to TB Joshua talk concerning the event, I was humbled by his own account. “The coach called me in the morning of the battle in Egypt and said I should join them in prayers. I considered this as a great honour because there are many great men of God in Ghana that had also been standing in the gap for the team. And I was one of these called to join in prayer for the team. There are great men of God in Ghana. We are all prayer warriors…”

During his Sunday service broadcast live on Emmanuel TV, TB Joshua actually modestly stated that he was the least of the pastors and that he felt humbled that God would use him when there are greater men of God in Ghana. He further stated, “One thing you must know about ministers of God, we cannot change God’s opinion. We can only know God’s will concerning the situation and when we know God’s will concerning the situation, we tell you. When we tell you, it will help you to guard against mistake and error. We are servants; we are just being used”.

Does this sound like someone who is claiming glory for himself? TB Joshua recognises himself as a servant of God. A true man of God boasts not in what he does for God but boasts in what God does in his life and he never exalts himself above God. TB Joshua never for a moment exalted himself but sought and spoke the mind of God – nothing more. As he said, “The secret is that there is no way I will come out and say, we will win. But what I can do, as a man of God, is to seek the mind of God concerning any situation and interpret the mind of God correctly without removing or adding anything. That is the work of prophets – to deliver God’s message as you receive it,”

TB Joshua - We are who, where and what we are by grace. Let no man boast.
TB Joshua - We are who, where and what we are by grace. Let no man boast.

I was quite saddened by the discrimination this Nigerian pastor faced on the basis of his nationality, particularly as he himself believed, in this event, that as men of God, they were all united in one spirit and one body to pray for the nation Ghana and their players – the Black Satellite’s. Being a Ghanaian myself, I have to admit that I was ashamed at undeserved criticism and treatment he received. Why did it matter that God used a Nigerian pastor to guide a Ghanaian victory? Indeed I am sure that if God had used a man of God who happened to be Ghanaian to successfully guide a Nigerian World Cup victory, we would not complain. This would have been a perfect occasion to prove our African unity amongst other nations of the world.

I humbly address my people, Ghanaians – let us stop criticizing one another out of jealousy, ignorance or misunderstandings. I believe that if we embrace pastors, men of God and prophets from other nations in humility, that God will exalt us as a nation to accomplish great feats which extend way beyond football!
