On Sunday 7th May 2017, Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua predicted victory in the French election for Emmanuel Macron merely hours before results were officially announced declaring him the winner.
Speaking to congregants at The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a message equally broadcast live on the popular Christian channel Emmanuel TV, Joshua declared Macron’s victory was connected to his considerate stance on immigrants and refugees.
“It is prayer that will put him there, not anything – because of his heart for refugees and immigrants,” Joshua declared, adding that Jesus Christ too was once a refugee.
“We are praying for him and our prayer will answer,” he authoritatively declared. “I am not a politician but I pray every day for Emmanuel Macron because of what he believes,” the cleric proceeded.
Joshua appealed that most refugees were fleeing war-torn countries and should not be looked down upon because of some who perpetrate evil under such guise.
“We know there are some bad people among the refugees – but we cannot say because there are some bad people that we reject all of them,” he counselled.
The cleric further emphasised that his statements bore no political sentiment as “we are not playing politics in the Church”.
Several hours later, news broke that after an extraordinary election campaign full of twists and turns, Emmanuel Macron won a dramatic victory over his opponent Marine Le Pen to become the youngest ever French President.
Initial estimates have put Macron winning by 65% of the votes, an astonishing margin given his relatively recent burst onto the French political scene.
The video of Joshua’s prediction was hurriedly uploaded to popular video sharing site YouTube at the conclusion of the church service.
The cleric additionally told congregants that he had just arrived back from Israel where he met the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi David Lau, as well as the Israeli Minister of Tourism, Mr Yariv Levin, further fuelling speculation of an imminent relocation.
When the then Warrant Officer, Mbhalati Simon Kita from the South Africa came to The SCOAN to testify of a promotion at work, little did he know that it would open up doors for greater breakthrough. After giving his testimony, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave him a word which turned out to be a prophetic declaration: “Better is not good enough; the best is yet to come”. He afterwards received prayer from the prophet before returning back to South… Africa with the Morning Water. God was on the case. After a few months of ministering the Morning Water, he was ‘prophetically’ promoted from a Warrant Officer to the rank of Captain, leading 34 members including the P.A. As a leader in the South African Police, he is in charge of two groups that receive instructions from him as a Unit Commander. He brought along with him photos showing him wearing three stars on his uniform indicating his new position of captain.
He was encouraged by Prophet T.B. Joshua’s word of wisdom, “Great problems bring great promotion”. Some members of his group had a brush with the law and were facing severe punishment if found guilty. But Captain Mbhalati Simon Kita prayed with the Morning Water and assured the accused and their families that they would be acquitted. Low and behold, when the matter went to court and the men appeared before the judge, they were all acquitted to the surprise of everyone.
Entrapped by abject poverty, Mrs. Hleziphi Doreen Goge, a South African native, survived each day by engaging in petty trading. She sold sweets along the streets. Coming from a poverty-stricken family, her household never knew a TV or experienced what constitutes luxury. By a stroke of luck, a neighbour told her about Prophet T. B. Joshua and the life-transforming testimonies that scroll across the Emmanuel TV screen. She sought her neighbour’s support to allow her to drop by to catch a glimpse of Emmanuel TV each day she was on her way to vend. This became a part of her daily routine.
Advising people all over the world, Mrs. Doreen Goge said whatever problem or situation you are in, don’t cry to man, cry to God. The more you give, the more you receive and watch Emmanuel TV.
Her testimony reflects the address to all Africans, given by Prophet T. B. Joshua’s message that “no African country can succeed alone; Africans need each other to develop.”

We have seen the outcome of the election in America. Having read, you will notice that it is
all about the popular vote, the vote of the majority of Americans.
In this case, we need the Spirit of a Prophet to recognize or to know a Prophet. Our levels are different. We are not on the same level.
We might have great cathedrals, huge bells, and all kinds of activities that are good by human standards but human point of view is limited.
1 Corinthians 1:25. The foolishness of God is wiser than that of men and the weakness of God is stronger than that of men. There is no shortcut to spiritual maturity unless earthly understanding gives way to spiritual enlightenment.
I see many people trying to interpret prophets on the basis of their own minds and ideas. The prophecy seems to cause uproar, to many who gave it different meaning and interpretation.
Finally, campaigns and elections in any democratic country in the world are never about one person, it is about the country we care and love. Whichever way it happens, we must accept the outcome and then look to the future (God), the Author and Finisher.
Democracy is all about accommodation. All democrats must value the process of democracy more than the product.
God bless the United States of America.
The current economic crisis in the nation of Nigeria has been forewarned years back by Prophet T.B. Joshua. The Prophet who has been advising the leaders on the most efficient way to manage the nation’s natural resources and Economy, enlightened them to form the habit of exchanging the nation’s crude oil for advanced technologies (READ: FOR NIGERIA TO DEVELOP, THEY SHOULD EXCHANGE OIL FOR TECHNOLOGY” – TB JOSHUA). As well as enacting policies towards the diversification of the nation’s Economy, by investing and developing the Agricultural sector. Even in his New-year message, Prophet T.B. Joshua categorically told Africans to go back to their destiny as the ‘breadbasket of the world’. Food should be their major export and they should exchange food for technology. He then warned Nigerians that the future of their country is crying for help and that the country is in a valley. The Prophet said this was as a result of past mistakes and everyone has to share the blame for the nation’s predicament. He then called on every Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari who has good intentions, to take the country out of the valley.
We, however, are not trying to eulogise the fulfilment of God’s words of warning to the nation of Nigeria through His humble servant, Senior Prophet T.B. Joshua, but the solutions to make the nation’s economy back to boom.
Nevertheless, it is imperative to talk about a disturbing trend in the world today. It is somehow now acceptable as a criterion for one to be seen as an expert or a professional guru when one abhors solutions that have to do with God. And also the world institutions seems to be comfortable with ridiculous claims and fictitious theories by some alleged ‘enlightened minds’ connived from the pit of hell to undermine God’s involvement in the world’s affairs. The truth remains that God is the ultimate solution to all mankind problems and that includes, the nation of Nigeria present Economic challenges.
God the solution to the Nigeria economic recession those not mean, the Nigeria Government should just go and be Praying, instead of them to embark on viable economic policies that would trigger an Economic boom. Sometimes one wonder where those with limited knowledge about the scripture got those spurious claims that Christianity or religion does not encourage human skillfulness and expertise, but just prayers. Though, it is important to pray as a believer. The scripture instructed us to “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), but the same scripture clearly stated that “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:14-26). God does not condone laziness and manna are not going to fall from heaven. Human skills, intellectualism and expertise are gifts from God and we are to make use of them to better the world. It is out of pride and ignorance for one to worship those things instead of the giver of wisdom…READ MORE
