“There is a strange man in our midst,” the man of God Prophet T.B. Joshua said. He pointed out the man from a distance and prophesied that he sees blood – human blood – in him. “Do you eat human flesh?” the man of God asked directly. “Yes, I eat human flesh fresh,” the man admitted without a blink. What followed was a violent manifestation of the demonic spirit of cannibalism in the man after the man of God touched and prayed for him in the power of the Holy Spirit. The man explained that this problem started when he was young and his mother served him meat from an unknown source. Growing up, he realised that he had an unquenchable urge to murder and eat the flesh of human beings.
In exposing his practice, he confessed he would dig a deep pit in his house which he would cover with a couch, lure people home and offer them a seat. He would then push his unsuspecting visitor inside; if the fall did not kill them, he would kill them and immediately eat their flesh. He said he used to burn many witchcraft items and shrines in order to increase his demonic powers.
He also confessed that if someone died in the community, he and his fellow cannibals would go to the cemetery at night, dig up the dead body and feast on it in a ghoulish manner. On numerous occasions, he was arrested when family members of the bodies he had dug up and eaten suspected him and reported him to the police. He had also been arrested several times on account of murder.
He said the urge had pushed him to do things beyond human comprehension and that it was when he discovered Emmanuel TV in Uganda that he decided to come to The SCOAN to seek deliverance from his gory appetite. Prophet T.B. Joshua delivered him in the name of Jesus Christ.
The sirens blazed. Helicopters hovered. An elite troop of special agents steadily surrounded the house. There was no escape in sight. Flushing the remaining cocaine steadily down the drain, Mr Muyideen braced himself for the inevitable. Fearlessly brandishing his multiple firearms, he threatened the police below that if they dared move, he would jump to his death. Jump he did…
At a tender age, Mr Shittu Muyideen was initiated into a world of devilry. His father, who belonged to a secret cult, gave him the deadly mark of a scorpion on his arm – a symbol of demonic power which would ultimately lead him down a path of untold destruction. As the only son of his father, who had 16 wives and 47 other daughters, he was a fighter from day one.
In school, he could beat up 20-30 grown men at a go. That spirit of violence led him to fearlessly travel abroad and engage in a life of criminality to extreme degrees. Traversing from Nigeria to Libya, he crossed the ocean in a makeshift boat to arrive unceremoniously in Italy. It was there that the wickedness of the devil’s plans for his life began to fully hatch.
Dealing in drugs and human trafficking, Muyideen, known then as ‘CK’, became a friend of Europe’s most deadly and dangerous. “I would sell human beings without a trace,” he admitted. “I would sell young women to old men,” he explained, adding that the women concerned would later ‘drug’ such men into willing their entire belongings to them. CK would take fifty percent.
Arrested during one such shady operation, he was imprisoned but through “Mafia connections”, he was quickly released and relocated to Germany. There, Muyideen became a notorious ‘drug baron’. His methods of human smuggling became more advanced, this time arranging marriages for naïve German locals with men who would quickly divorce thereafter and take money from the inevitable proceedings. He even conned physically challenged women by promising to provide husbands – who would leave them shortly after concluding marital nuptials.
Escaping prison again in Germany, he went to the US where he affiliated himself with a notorious drug lord and his gang. With the proceeds from his dubious activities, he bought properties in different states in the US and married a Norwegian banker with whom he had two kids. When asked where he was getting his money from, he told her that his father was a wealthy king in Africa!
However, one day his wife opened a package that was delivered to their house and she was horrified to find cocaine hidden therein. Shocked, his wife reported to the police who quickly surrounded his house. Jumping from a balcony, Muyideen was caught by a net dropped by the helicopter and hauled into custody. Deported back to Nigeria, the drug baron never relented in crime. Moving to Ghana, he began to co-ordinate human trafficking activities to countries around the world.
It was in the midst of this that ‘CK’ discovered Emmanuel TV. Deciding to visit The SCOAN, his encounter with Prophet T.B. Joshua was nothing short of remarkable. The demon within him was wickedly exposed at the touch of the man of God, confessing the havoc it had wreaked in his life and the destruction it had caused him to do. After deliverance, the sober man tearfully admitted that satan had used him to destroy so many lives in the past, calling on people to embrace Christ fully as the only way to enjoy life in abundance.
On account of the maltreatment she was receiving from her stepmother, Adenike absconded from home. She moved in with a group of girls who introduced her to a travelling syndicate that specialized in transporting women to Spain for prostitution. After agreeing to a slavish bond of 50,000 euros, which she would have to repay, the 21 year old woman was taken to Spain.
She was forced to sleep with as many as six men a day. After each horrendous encounter,
they would leave her empty and alone with a very small sum of money as payment for her “service”. Realising she would never be able to repay the person who paid for her travelling expenses to Spain, she ran to Barcelona with the little she had with her. From there, she headed to Seville where she joined another group of prostitutes for a short time before she moved to Las Palmas, vowing to stay put, irrespective of what life had to offer there. One of her customers was a drug dealer who insisted he wanted to have a relationship with her but wanted her to quit prostitution and join him in the drug trafficking business. He opened a hair-dressing salon for her as a front for their real business and she thought she was in love until she discovered that her lover was married to another woman. While she was still smarting from the pain of that bad news, her house was robbed and her belongings carted away. Desperate because she was without documents, she pleaded with her estranged lover to take her in so she would not be forced out of the country. Adenike later had a baby girl for him and committed three abortions. After that, he was arrested for drug trafficking.
Life became unbearable and there seemed no way out until Adenike was introduced to Emmanuel TV by a friend. She received the Morning Water which she ministered on herself and discovered that the evil spirit in her manifested, kicking against her action. In the wake of that very experience, she decided to visit The SCOAN. Returning to Nigeria, she received her deliverance last Sunday when evangelists were ministering the New Morning Water to congregants. The evil spirit which came under heavy shelling with the fire of the Holy Spirit, confessed to have been responsible for all her woes, including her ill-fated sojourn to Europe.
The evil spirit was cast out of her life and she was declared free in the mighty name of Jesus. Adenike raised her hands in thankfulness to God for bringing to an end her dark experience. During her testimony, she told congregants that her life has changed for the best, adding that the spirits of lust, unforgiveness and anger have gone for good. She had the following advice for young people all over the world: “To the young people out there, don’t be desperate for money. Wait for God’s time.”
If you are cynical or skeptical about the miraculous, this video is meant for you! It was a nightmare situation. A little boy accidentally drunk acid, severely damaging his oesophagus and leaving him unable to eat or drink naturally. The doctors passed a tube through his nose, in readiness for an intensive operation. However, when little Joshua Nosike was brought by his parents to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria, a miracle beyond human comprehension was about to unfold… “The age of miracles has not yet passed. The Miracle Worker is still alive; His name is Jesus Christ!” – T.B. Joshua
A stirring tale of glorious hope shining amidst the dark chasms of despair, of seperation and shame transfromed to unity and peace, of loneliness and homelessness replaced with life and love. Because God was involved…
Beyond the burdening, burgeoning bondage of homelessness, Mr Kefa Olatunji Taiwo had strayed slowly into the hazardous realms of hopelessness. At 60 years old, his family had scattered, any shred of dignity or self-worth left battered – his life in total tatters. Living in a bedraggled and dishevelled excuse for a shed, scantily assorted from stray aluminium and rotting wood, he had dwelt and dealt in the refuse grounds of Lagos, Nigeria for over three agonising years, surrounded by the repulsive stench of decay and debris, and the degrading stigma of a lunatic-like existence. Suicidal tendencies crept increasingly closer…
Living amidst the rubbish…
He suddenly halted before him, sensing something strange.“You are the one I am chasing.” Kefa looked up, astounded, dumbfounded. “Where is your family? Everybody is scattered in your home – and you are sleeping under the bridge, as an elderly man.” Extraodinary. His life-story unfurling uncannily from a man he had never encountered, a man he had never explained his predicament to. “You are getting old, an old man sleeping outside – and the family are scattered. Do you know where your problem comes from? This is what your mummy was telling you. The little money you had, you were going out – sometimes in the night you will not come home. You would take girlfriends. The little you had – you spent it just like that. This has destroyed you, destroyed your career.” How did he know? Whom had he told? “Something happened to you before this thing started. You met a mad woman – you never knew she’s a mad woman, and you slept with the woman. This is where the problem comes from. Today, when you sleep you see animals.” “Exactly, sir”
When Mr Taiwo walked dejectedly into The Synagogue, Church of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday 30th August, unbeknown to him was the unfolding of a divine design to break the chains of poverty and restore the bonds of unity within his crises-fraught family. The prophecy took him by surprise. It was so sudden, so direct, so precise. Pastor TB Joshua narrated his life to him, a brief 30 seconds of breath-taking revelation, a concise uncovering. As he was led through the beautiful sanctuary, a flame of hope licked within his veins. Could it be a way out had actually come?
Just imagine, just consider… what do you have to give?
The following week he stood again before the vast SCOAN auditorium, clips of his ‘home’ broadcast to the world live on Emmanuel TV. Evangelists had accompanied Taiwo to establish the veracity of the prophecy. The crowd gasped, beholding a dank wasteland with pigs scavenging among the filth, dirty infected water up to the knees, slime and grime at every turn. And a human being lived there, slept there, ate there, amidst the clutter and litter of decomposing garbage and gunk. “I’m useless,” the former furniture maker told the evangelists. “I just have to go and hide myself here when it is night. This is a shameful place, but I have no alternative – that’s why I have to stay here, living here as a mad man,” he said, explaining how local hoodlums had burnt his only property to ashes, forcing homelessness upon him.
Accompanied by his estranged wife and 11 children, all suffering a similar fate, Mr Taiwo watched on in reflective silence. “I believe if this man is helped, he will not go back to his past life – because he has tasted suffering and hardship,” said TB Joshua, addressing the whole congregation. “And I know if blessing comes now, he will be able to maintain it. Sometimes God uses foolish things. Don’t be surprised that among these children may be the president of tomorrow. Remember the past history, remember the heroes – many of them were raised from this kind of humble background,” he explained. “The first step is to get accommodation for the family, so we can bring the family together and let them live as one. To liberate these children, we must give them scholarships. And those who want to learn a skill – we will give them that opportunity.” The pastor, famed for his unrivalled and unbridled philanthropic works, explained that if the youths were left to themselves, they would probably end up in armed robbery or prostitution out of frustrations irrationalising influence. “Give them N300,000 and five bags of rice.”
Join TB Joshua – Let’s Make Poverty History
Tears of shock and joy escaped from beneficiaries and congregants alike. Never before had Kefa seen or touched such money. “I didn’t expect this. Thank you, sir,” he quibbled, words failing to form his heart-felt expressions of gratitude. “This is what we are born for, this is what we are to live for, this is what we are to die for,” smiled the prophet, ascribing all glory to God.
“Someone out there is waiting for you for a lifetime,” Joshua counselled the enthralled audience and viewers worldwide. “You cannot afford to fail them; failing them is failing God. Remember, God is speaking to you through them, saying: ‘They are fatherless, so that you can be their father.’ ‘They are lonely, so that you can be their companion.’ ‘They are in want, so that you can be their benefactor.’ ”
GOD CAN MAKE YOU FIT FOR IT, Evangelist Yetunde called on Christians not to
undermine their capacity to do the great works of God, stressing that whenever God chooses a person for an assignment, no matter how huge it appears, He will make the person fit and equipped to carry out that assignment. Citing the case of Moses who stammered with speech and how God made him fit to lead the Israelites to the promised land, she observed, “When God called Moses in the burning bush for the assignment of leading the people of Israel out of Egypt, He made him fit for it. It is the Holy Spirit poured upon God’s servants that makes them fit for it.” Concluding, she urged Christians not to allow the pleasures of the world to draw them away from God, adding that, “In His Word, we have His peace.”
