There Is A Way Out – TB Joshua’s God Work

Prophet T.B. Joshua prays for the overflow crowd, outside the church

Early in the morning, the streets were packed as far as the eye could see with people who had come to attend the meeting. Couples with the problems of barrenness and infertility due to different causes, even some with medically inexplicable causes filled the church to capacity and soon flooded into the overflow seating area across the street. In short, every proper means was used to find adequate space to seat and shelter the mammoth crowd in time for the service to commence.

Once everyone had been settled down into their place, some of the couples whom the Lord had blessed after attending the previous Fruit Of The Womb Meeting With Prophet T.B. Joshua in 2008, came forward to share their testimonies to encourage the faith of the people that the day was their day. Encouraging the congregation that they too were once in their position – it may seem like there is no hope, it may seem like there is no future but with God Almighty everything is possible – evidently, these blessed couples were equally ecstatic about the meeting. One of the fathers of a newborn baby boy remarked that before coming to the meeting, he counted himself among those who would never have a child and even at the point of despair, the situation was not beyond the repair of Jesus Christ and if the Lord could change his situation, He would do the same thing in their lives too.

With the excitement of the testimonies of those who had attended the previous Meeting in 2008 still ringing in their ears and burning in their hearts, these couples gleefully welcomed the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua to the altar and the service started in earnest.

Sensing the atmosphere of faith, the man of God began with a word of encouragement telling them that no matter what they were facing, the way out of their situation had come and this was confirmed as the power of the Holy Ghost came down upon many of those present even as the man of God was still speaking, just like Apostle Paul in the book of Acts 10:44. The man of God added there was a way out admonishing that what they had to do was to position themselves for that blessing. That is, to position themselves where their petitions would attract the attention and commitment of God. As the prayer progressed, men and women alike were rolling on the floor under the anointing of God and vomiting out different substances that had been the cause of their problems and as the prayer went on, many of the women who had been afflicted with fibroids delivered their fibroids there on the spot!
At intervals, the man of God explained that these miracles were supposed to happen at home but to strengthen the faith of those watching and to erase all doubts God had allowed these instant miracles to take place.

The man of God began to move around the premises while leading the congregation in prayer. Then inspired by the Holy Spirit, Prophet T.B. Joshua removed the mantle draped around his shoulders and said as it was in the days of Apostle Paul so it is today. It is just as we have read by the accounts of how such power pervaded anything that touched Apostle Paul, that even aprons and handkerchiefs that had come into contact with him were taken to the sick and evil spirits left them. So, this was the medium God would use to touch their lives in the meeting. The prophet explained that in touching the mantle, their problems would be taken up by God and after the service the man of God would go and bury the mantle with prayer and fasting and the problems of 2009 would be buried along with it.

The man of God then released the mantle to the crowd and it was passed person to person, from one end of the auditorium to the other and as it went miracles, signs and wonders followed in its wake. After those inside the main auditorium had touched the mantle, it was taken to the overflow seating areas to make sure that no one would miss out on this extraordinary move of the Holy Spirit.
As the mantle was moving round the people it also came to Mrs Lovett Samuel. Mrs Samuel had had no child for the past three years of marriage and had constant pain in her stomach, like something was moving inside her stomach. In the hospital, the doctors had told her that it was fibroid, yet during the prayer what finally came to light was something quite different. The congregation were told to watch their screen as the cameras rushed to the ladies room only to see Mrs Samuel deliver a stone! It was incredible! From the altar, the man of God instructed her to pick up the stone and try to break it with her fingers but despite her best efforts the stone remained unchanged.

She was asked to hit the stone with another rock by the man of God, T.B. Joshua yet it did not break or even chip. Then the question that was going through many people’s mind was: how did that stone get there? Mrs Samuel was then invited to walk among the congregation with the stone on her outstretched palm a tangible testimony that no matter the hindrance, no matter the difficulty the way out for their lives had come! While we look forward to the next wave of testimonies of what the Lord did in the lives of those who attended the Fruit Of The Womb Meeting 2009 both live and across the world, remember that distance is not a barrier to the power of the Holy Spirit. Just because Jesus is no longer visible in our midst does not mean that His power has elapsed. His power is even greater today because He can be in all places at all times through His Word by His Spirit. Our looking to God’s promise is the very good reason for looking to Him for mercy, favour and grace. We cannot stop looking until the Lord withdraws His Word.

The Good Fight – TB Joshua

TB Joshua
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Apostle Paul is speaking to you and me here. We are all struggling with the common calamities of human life, struggling with the opposition of the powers of darkness. We have many enemies who will keep us from God and Heaven. But glory be to God, we have a Captain we fight for; we have a banner we fight under. Paul is saying here that he had kept the doctrine of the Gospel and had never betrayed or removed any portion out of it. It is a good fight a good warfare. The victory is assured – if we continue faithful and courageous.

It is a great comfort to a dying saint when he can look upon his past and say with Apostle Paul that, “I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith, I have kept the doctrine of the Gospel  and the grace of faith”. Towards the end of our days, if we can also have this opportunity, this type of grace, what unspeakable comfort will it be to be able to talk in this manner!

Someone Is Waiting For You – TB Joshua

When you stand in the midst of the needy and look the other way, you imagine that you are only in the company of poor, weak, disadvantaged and contemptible people. You will be made to know, perhaps when it would be too late, that it was Jesus Himself whom you denied.

Someone out there is waiting for you for a lifetime. You cannot afford to fail them; failing them is failing God. Remember, God is speaking to you through them, saying:

“They are fatherless, so that you can be their father.”

“They are lonely, so that you can be their companion.”

“They are in want, so that you can be their benefactor.”

Today, the Church is being awakened to her responsibilities towards the needy. I have a role to play; you have a role to play. This is not the time to sit on the fence; it is time to act faith (James 2:14-20).

As usual, the entire auditorium of the church was filled to capacity by worshippers who eagerly awaited Wise Man Racine for the message that was to follow the adoration melody by the choir. In addition, the arenas for overflow congregation were also stretched to breaking point. As soon as the adoration melody was over, Wise Man Racine mounted the altar for the message THE LIVING WORD

Wise Man Racine gave an enthralling and faith-strengthening message on the title, ‘The Living Word’, part of which explained the relationship of faith and the Word to the Lord. According to him, we live by faith. Those who live by faith are victorious. God’s Word is our standard. It carries us into the presence of God. One lives by the Word of God or misses the point. Faith acts on God’s Word. Citing Hebrews 4:3 as a proof text, the wise man explicated his message. In Genesis 1:3 according to him, God says, ‘Let there be light’ and there was light. God’s Word is a Spirit which creates material things. God is in His Word. He does nothing without His Word. Christ and the Word are one. Through the Word we have access to God. He uses His Word to bring about healing. The Word of God is the seed of divine life that causes faith to grow. Faith grows when the Word of God prevails over the thinking processes. Meditation in the Word of God is a visit with Him. Meditation brings revelation which brings result and power. The extent to which you think of the Word of God is the extent to which you have the power of God, the wise man reminded his listeners as he came close to the end of the message.
Soon after the applauded message, Prophet T.B. Joshua spoke briefly about the new Anointing Water and generated a wind of spontaneous excitement among those who received it the previous week. Many came forward to testify to the unforeseen grounds of miracles it broke following its application. Henry Onyebetor of Delta State was the first to give a testimony. According to him, he had been suffering from glaucoma for over ten years for which he had sought a cure but unsuccessfully. He came to The SCOAN and received the new Anointing Water. On getting home, he applied it as instructed in the booklet. Before long, he regained his sight and could read well. When he went to hospital for examination, the doctor wondered audibly whether Henry had at any time been diagnosed with glaucoma before. However, in his dream, Henry was attacked until the prophet came to his rescue. He ended by thanking God and His anointed servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua for restoring his sight.

Taking her turn to relate her testimony, Cecilia of Ogoja, Cross-River State informed her listeners that she had had diabetes since 2004 and had been in the sickbed praying. As a consequence of her poor condition, her menstruation also ceased after five years. A friend of hers from the north met her and gave her the Anointing Water which put an end to the diabetes. The same friend also gave her money to come to The SCOAN to testify to the goodness of God regarding her healing.
Another lady, Agnes Roman, a widow from Delta State also gave a testimony. Getting home from The SCOAN where she received the new Anointing Water, she prayed with her family and gave each of them an administration of it about 10 0’clock before they all retired to bed. Moments later, one of her sons, Precious started screaming and vomiting blood. The son said he was being tormented with fire all over his body. He then confessed that he was initiated into a cult five years before in school. As the screaming and vomiting continued unabated, the mother called a phone number in the church through which she was advised to administer the Anointing Water to Precious again. As soon as she did that, both vomiting and screaming stopped. Precious had also submitted his elder brother’s name to the cult for elimination before August for constantly challenging his coming home late every day. True to his wish, the elder brother fell sick. In his own testimony, Precious admitted all the facts given about him by his mother and added that he had joined the cult many years before the death of his father, though no member of the family knew about it. Ironically he was reputed to be a very quiet and good boy, much loved by the mother. His, according to the prophet, was a deliverance from darkness to light and salvation, adding that his elder brother who was sick, weak and haggard apparently as a consequence of the evil plans of Precious would be arranged in the prayer line for healing.

Stephen, a Chief Superintendent of Customs from Taraba State also mounted the platform for a testimony. In his words, he had had diabetes for some time making him urinate at least eight times every night. Two days to the administration of the new Anointing water, his condition became so bad that every five minutes he would urinate. He came to The SCOAN for the Anointing Water and after application, the frequent urinating stopped completely. He now urinates once a night. He thanked God for His anointed servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua who restored his health to normalcy through the medium of the new Anointing Water.
In course of the mass prayer during the previous service, many with contrary spirits were arrested and fell down in manifestation. One of these was a notorious armed robber named Kelechi. He had a gang of armed robbers with whom he unleashed criminality on innocent people. He had been caught, tried and imprisoned but became more hardened and brutal to his victims on regaining freedom. He had rendered himself invulnerable by meeting witch doctors for charms. He had the head of a three -year -old baby in him which told him what to do during robbery operations. At deliverance, he found it difficult to get up complaining that the baby had held his waist stiff. It was not until he shouted, ‘Jesus’ as instructed by the prophet that he was able to get up and thank God for his deliverance.
The man of God who had been playing host to him had course to ask him to mount the platform for more revelations about himself. He informed his listeners that he had been involved in robbery for seventeen years and that he was a leader of a gang of fifteen. He had a singlet which was bullet repellent and which he washed only with urine. One of his victims was his elder brother who he loved very much. On the fateful day he had warned the brother not to travel in one direction of the vicinity which would be the terrain for robbery operations that day. However his brother misunderstood him and travelled in that direction. When Kelechi and his gang stopped the bus in which his brother was travelling, the latter emerged from the bus but there was nothing Kelechi could do other than make him go the same way as the other victims. As regards his bullet repelling singlet, the prophet ridiculed the devil by shouting, ‘Jesus’ and there was Kelechi limbs, trunk and head on the floor.
Many of those who had wished the wise men to lay hands on them or prophesy to them felt consoled when the prophet pronounced that the service would start again at 12 noon on Monday.

Fraudster Exposed At The Synagogue Church Of All Nations – TB Joshua

The month of September, like the previous months of the year, 2010, has its share of mind-boggling events and stories in The

Emmanuel Oluwatobi impersonated Prophet T.B. Joshua to deceive people on the internet

Among these, is the confession of a seventeen year old lad, Emmanuel Oluwatobi who, for a length of time, impersonated Prophet T.B. Joshua, deceived individuals and nations and carted away money and other non-pecuniary benefits from them. His main weapon of fraud was the internet. He opened a ‘Facebook Account’ in the name of T.B. Joshua and used it to send emails to his victims, informing them that he was T.B. Joshua and that he implored them to donate money to his ministry for orphans. He wrote to the USA Government to ask for a loan of half a million dollars to build a church, all in the name of T.B. Joshua. He prayed for unsuspecting candidates on the phone, covering the phone mouthpiece with a handkerchief to achieve a falsetto closely imitative of Prophet T.B. Joshua. He dubiously collected money from unsuspecting people through the Western Money Transfer, made false promises of sending the much talked about Anointing Water to them and, in many ways, exploited the credulity of innocent people to advantage. He engaged himself nefariously in this way for five years until the signals of nemesis, by way of mental disorder, began to beam at him. He pleaded with the man of God for deliverance and he was delivered.

Slowly But Surely – TB Joshua

TB Joshua
Emmanuel! Emmanuel!! Emmanuel!!! If God is with us, who can be against us? Greetings to you all with the love of our LORD Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit! Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us today.
With improved clarity in the transmission of our live Sunday services on Emmanuel TV, hundreds of foreign visitors, a vibrant Come and Discover Yourself Night Event and countless testimonies of God’s grace, goodness and power, July has been an exciting time at The SCOAN!
The highlight was undoubtedly a series of revelatory messages, titled SLOWLY BUT SURELY. Prophet T.B. Joshua took his time to explain a story in the Holy Bible which has been the subject of much debate in Christendom – that of the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15. When reading this portion of Scripture, many may often ask themselves, “Why did Jesus, the loving and compassionate Son of God totally ignore this woman and refer to her as a dog!” What insulting language! However, this message opened the eyes of understanding of the thousands who received it.

Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “As a test of faith, Jesus deliberately insulted her sensibility in order to injure her pride – knowing that man will continue to hide his true character until his pride is injured. In both pleasure and pain, her emotions were stable because she knew that active faith would make that which is against us to be for us.”
As he explained, “We must first see ourselves as dogs before we are fit to be dignified. When Jesus referred to the woman as a dog, rather than get discouraged, she must have said in her mind, “If I’m a dog in God’s presence, I’m alright. Whether I am a dog or not, all I know is that I have come to meet the Son of David – and I will not let You go unless You have mercy on me!”

This powerful expression of belief is both challenging and sobering. How many of us are ready to exercise such great faith under such great trials and temptations?

When everything around her suggested that there was no hope, as a woman of faith, she continued to press on. Her knowledge that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah, Jesus’ initial silence, the disciple’s attempts to get rid of her and Jesus’ statement of purpose did not discourage her.

Most would have given up at the first obstacle especially at the seeming rejection from Jesus Himself. Nevertheless, the Canaanite woman had a vision that ‘if I could just attract Jesus’ attention, I know my daughter would be made whole.’ This vision was her focus – and nothing else, not even the insults and embarrassment could reduce her vision. Her interest was centered on the Bread of life, which she believed only Jesus could provide. This was why she was able to endure. “By her persistence, she demonstrated her perfect understanding of the parables, ironies and riddles in Christ’s actions and utterances.”

The series of messages, all broadcast live across the world on Emmanuel TV were truly eye opening! The congregation and viewers were amazed and privileged to witness the messages come alive – as a scene of an ancient Jewish market place emerged in the midst of the service, complete with market men and women moving around busying themselves with buying and selling. Bread, fruit, cloth, chickens and even goats made the scene look truly authentic. In the midst of a passionate Jewish soundtrack, those playing the role of Jesus Christ and His 12 disciples arrived on the scene, complete with flowing robes and a demeanor fitting to the time. A distressed woman cried out from the midst of the marketers, “Lord – Son of David, have mercy on me”. Powerfully re-enacting the stirring story of the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15, the message the man of God had preached concerning her case became a reality in the SCOAN auditorium. Watch out for these inspiring and truly memorable messages coming soon on Emmanuel TV.

Time does not permit us to tell all the wonderful testimonies that are taking place every day here at The SCOAN. God is not a man that disappoints. HE is a good God. Life Biggest Decisions Is What You Do With Jesus Christ – TB Joshua!

Decision, decision, decision! We are constantly making decisions, some trivial and others fundamental and life changing. Common sense tells us that some decisions are much more important than others. Deciding to put your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour is the most important decision you can make in life. I mean “Life’s biggest decision is what you do with Jesus”.

Joshua told his people to make the biggest decision to decide whether to serve the gods of their forefathers or to serve God Almighty. Though he did not force anybody to believe in God, he in a way, did not give them any option. He simply said to them, “As for me and my household, we shall serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15-16). He knew that the only decision that can stand the test of time is the decision to serve the Lord.
