T.B.JOSHUA – WHAT WRONG HAS HE DONE? WHY PERSECUTE HIM?

The Bible gave us this hope in John 16:23-24 “And in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be made full.” And I have a series of questions for our men of God and some lamentations too.

So now, if the above is the promise to Christians by the very foundation of our faith, is it a case that we no longer believe in this scripture? Or was Jesus telling a lie? Honestly, every Christian who prayed and prayed and prayed for something he believes he has worked for and deserved to receive but without a response, begins to wonder quietly what this scripture means to the believer. And most of the times, our pastors have a simple way of parrying our disappointment and keeping us consoled by either saying God’s time is the best or God does not desire that for us, or to cleverly insinuate that it is our sins that prevented our prayers from being heard.
But now, through the teachings of Prophet TB Joshua and his deliverance ministry which have unlocked doors that have closed against the fortunes of many believers, the hope in this scripture is returning; the joy of the congregants indeed are really being made full.

Let no one get the Prophet wrong. At least no one has ever heard him say that people can just rest on their oars and expect manna to fall onto their laps from heaven since they have used the anointed water. What he has demonstrated however is that whatever obstacle the enemy (Satan) has placed on their path of success could be removed so that their efforts could yield the results promised by God. Let us remember that Jesus also alluded to this fact in a parable in Matthew 13:25 that sometimes, it is the devil who plants the weeds in our wheat. So it could only take a true man of God to discern the root causes of our spiritual problems to uproot them to pave way for a smooth journey in our lives.

Or again, why do we doubt what the scripture said in John 14:11-13 “Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father. And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son”.

Today, the very pastors who tell us to run to the house of God as the only place of refuge from Satan are suggesting that men who do such greater miracles could only be the agents of Satan himself. Now, whom do we believe: them or John in John 14:11-13?

Let it be known to those men of God who have made it their business to castigate their fellow men of God that they are rather creating chaos in the minds of we believers. They are the very ones who are making the faith of many grow cold. In fact, how do they feel when they read 1 Corinthians 3:5-9 “What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.”

Coming back to the substantive issue, I still doubt which evil spirit is interested in mending broken marriages and bringing together scattered families? Or which demonic spirit would ask people to forgive one another and give to the poor and the needy in society as is the pre-occupation of Prophet TB Joshua and the SCOAN. In otherwise, do we believe that there is a being from the dark world who would be interested in obeying the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ? Matthew 28:18-20 (Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”)

So what contrary evidence do we have? The Synagogue Church of All Nations and TB Joshua through Emmanuel TV has sent the gospel to the four corners of the world giving hope to the hopeless, becoming father to the fatherless,  the defender of the oppressed and the widow and motivating every listener to do same. Are these virtues that we see on Emmanuel TV and witness in the SCOAN the works of Satan? Then I am tempted to say that the parable of Jesus Christ about the two sons has been demonstrated in our time: Matthew 21:28-32 (What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, “Son, go and work today in the vineyard.” “I will not,” he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, “I will, sir,” but he did not go. Which of the two did what his father wanted? “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.”)

Now, let us face the facts. When Jesus was preaching the gospel, he realised at a time that the people he was preaching to had never eaten since morning and leaving them to go like that, they might faint on the way. So he asked Peter whether there was any food to give to the people. But out of five loaves and two fishes he fed the multitude. The church can therefore not take the necessities of the people for granted and hope to keep them. If we indeed care to know, there are thousands who have just taken the Church now as an ordinary association which is a necessity to join because society would frown at you if you do not belong to one.

This fact and appeal are also worth noting. All the men of God cannot be the same; they have different ministries and gifts of God, and by collaborations amongst them, the work of God shall be complete. Since God can use any medium to express Himself, I would humbly plead with our men of God to swallow their pride and hearken to the humble appeal by Prophet TB Joshua to them, his fellow co-workers in the Lord’s vineyard, that they are at liberty to come for cartons of the anointed water for distribution in their own churches for free. For, whatever they do or say, their members are still sneaking to Nigeria and overwhelming the SCOAN. And if it is their lives we care for, then we should not forget that the same fate could befall them either on their way to Nigeria or at the church itself due to the huge never ending numbers of foreign visitors trooping there on daily basis.

All said and done, let no one underrate the intelligence of their congregants. If no one had brought solid evidence to them, they would not go out there to even watch let alone participate.
To Prophet TB Joshua, I know you are taking consolation in John 16:1-5 “All this I have told you so that you will not fall away. They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known me.” May the good Lord preserve you and keep your humility whilst he raises you. Amen.

Owusu Bempah is the cause of the large crowd that besieged TB Joshua’s Church

 The Head pastor of Glorious Word Ministry International (GWMI), Rev. Owusu Bempa has over the last few months carried himself as the spiritual Head of this nation, giving false and gloomy prophesies and lambasting great men of God in and out of the nation with impunity for obvious, cheap publicity.

Owusu Bempa who gave a “Stomach Prophecy” that the President of the land John Dramani Mahama will die which caused fear and panic in the nation, and lambasted reputable men of God such as Bishop Agyin Asare of the Word Miracle International Church and Arch Bishop Duncan Williams of the Action Chapel International who tried to call him to order, has done it again. While Ghanaians await the death of the President patiently so that we can give him a befitting burial, Owusu Bempa in a U-TURN has attributed the failure of his prophecy to intercessory prayers that have been organized for the President. Now, once again sees the Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations prophet T B Joshua’s recent visit to Ghana as an opportunity to announce his presence by drawing comparison between himself and T B Joshua, calling him an occultist and Anti Christ.

 If God the Almighty really called Owusu Bempa then the spirit of God has departed from him and the devil have possessed him. His extra marital affairs and lavish life style has cost him is marriage and turn him into “Prophetic Maradona”, who dribbles his way into the pockets of the poor and vulnerable without mercy. He has lost track of his purpose and does not believe even in the scripture that says greater things than this shall you do if you believe. Or is it that he has limited the power of God to what he can envisage and that anything greater is from the devil ? People of God this shouldn’t come as a surprise at all because Jesus our saviour during his earthly ministry was accused of using the spirit of Beelzebub to cast out demons which he replied to by saying how can the devil cast out devil, a Kingdom divided among itself cannot stand. May be the source of Owusu Bempa’s spiritual prowess is questionable that is why he sees Prophet T B Joshua and his friend Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Christ Embassy as the Anti Christ. The question now is what of the Benny Hinn, the C S Upthegrove and the other great men of God who have endorsed Prophet T B Joshua?, Owusu Bempa can you please help us?. It is said that he who robs to succeed believes every successful person is a robber. Comparing himself to Prophet T B Joshua, Owusu Bempa said on OKAY FM that T B Joshua is no better than himself or any other man of God in the country and that he will never attend any programme organized by T B Joshua. Has he again forgotten the Scripture that says comparing our self to one another means we are not wise or he no longer believes there are different dimensions of anointing in the spiritual realm or the Bible verse that says there are diverse gifts but of the same spirit. why then the comparison. If it’s an attempt to gain international popularity then i am afraid he has failed big time, because even in Ghana he is not well known, his popularity can best be described as a drop in the ocean.

that we are hearing. Owusu Bempa has succeeded quite too long in using gimmicks to siphon money from vulnerable Ghanaians for his extravagant life style. He has turned himself into an artiste who stages performances in UK and the rest of Europe in the name of God for a huge fee, and even goes to the extent of fighting organizers if his charges are not met. It took the swift intervention of the police in London to avert an open confrontation between him and a gentleman called David Myles who organized one of such shows for him which attracted a low patronage. What has his holy anointing honey and salt brought to his followers. For Owusu Bempa to say Prophet T B Joshua preaches on barefoot should tell everyone he has no knowledge about T B Joshua, Was T B Joshua preaching on barefoot on EMMANUAL TV which he claimed to be watching before God revealed it to him that  he is the Anti Christ? People of God once again, T B Joshua never preaches on barefoot so what is Owusu Bempa talking about, The Bible says no spirit speaking from God will say Jesus be cursed. T B Joshua openly confesses JESUS day in and out on EMMANUEL TV because he has nothing to hide. Our lord Jesus made it emphatically clear that if you are not for me then you are against us. For him to lie against a man of God means he is of the devil’s generation because Jesus again said “you are of the devil your father because he first lied from the beginning”. By their deeds you shall know them and from the abundance in the heart the mouth speaks. In other words the life style and utterances of the two should help us draw disparity as to who is under the covering of God and who is not.

 On humanitarian grounds T B Joshua gives much  as he earns to the poor and needy as charity yearly. Apart from the individual assistance, he has touched the school for the blind, the Psychiatric Hospital, Help Age Ghana, the Prisons and other remote villages in Ghana with his benevolence, whiles Owusu Bempa is a master tactician when it comes to taking 3 to 4 times offering under the pretence of effecting special prayers which attract special fee, apart from wrecking the pocket of unsuspecting Ghanaians who visit him in search of solutions. He lavishes on women and rides in expensive cars and arrogantly lambasts men of God. How much does he give to charity? Has Owusu Bempa encountered the scriptures that say do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge in you the same way as you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others? How dare you say to your brother, please let me take that speck out of your eye, when you have a log in your own eye? You hypocrite.  Matthew 7-1-5. Or what about the word that says “let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the Harvesters: first collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.

 If Owusu Bempa wants to carry himself as the “Spiritual Watch Dog” over this nation and not a coward he should help us with the names of the fake pastors in this nation. Secondly, when God revealed it to him that T B Joshua is the Anti Christ why didn’t he come out to tell the whole World about this revelation about T B Joshua but waited until the latter came to Ghana. Or is he someone who wants to capture the attention of the President at all cost with his fake prophesies, then am afraid, the President and the top politicians will rather  visit T B Joshua and render his  “419 Job” futile? Bempa is seeking to win the heart of the President by fair or foul means with his fake prophesies so that he can “Control” his affairs and give directives as to when the president should travel and not to, when to sleep and not to, who to associate with and not to, when to perform sacrifices and not to and when to pay fat offerings and tithe into his coffers. His association with 419ers (Fraudsters) and gangsters is no longer a secret. He was quite recently in the news accused of buying a stolen car from a renowned fraudster. In short, he is a full blown “Job Man” (fraudster). It is therefore not surprising that after predicting the death of the President which has proven to be a false prophesy, he is now directing the President not to associate with T B Joshua else he will die, is this another prophecy from God or one of his desperate statement. Let me leave it to discerning minds to judge at this point.

 If he wants to use the name of T B Joshua to gain cheap popularity, then, I am glad to announce to him that his blasphemy and slanderous statements contributed to the masses that besieged the SCOAN Sunday service because Ghanaians are discerning and can read between the lines to know who is of God and who is not

 Because of your arrogance very soon all your church members will desert you for the Synagogue Church; you are a disgrace to your members. Your behaviour is not different at all from the manifestations of a demon infested person who will arrogantly dramatize his way into oblivion. It will not surprise me if Bempa is one of the fake pastors in the country Kweku Bonsam the fetish priest threaten to expose, He does not bear the fruit of Christ at all. I will recommend he Nicodemously seeks the man of God for deliverance; else the demons that have possessed him will destroy him. Let me make a wakeup call to the people of God in this nation to be wise as serpents, discern between T B Joshua and Owusu Bempa to know who is from God, and also rally behind the pillar of cloud that is currently leading the nation. I would like to use this piece to wish all who were caught up in the stampede that hit the church last Sunday speedy recovery and extend my condolences to the families of the deceased persons.

Response – Did TB Joshua say the anointed water is pointless?

TB Joshua Watch is at it again, are we surprised? NO! This absurdity is always expected. Another religious bigotry, the proclamation of self-made judges and self righteousness indeed! It is common knowledge that people who are hell bent on maligning the name of others will stop at nothing to do just that.  It is just ironical that these ‘faceless cohorts’ behind TB Joshua Watch sit by Emmanuel TV all day all night to watch every broadcast, thereby sniffing through each frame  to see where they can zero in their next blogging. This tells me that they are so addicted to this channel but as critics and judges……….what a contradiction!  One would have thought that if this Man of God TB Joshua is this ‘evil’ as they claim, and also that SCOAN is like a ‘cult’, it just seems hypocritical that they have not totally abandoned watching the channel????? Please readers, can you phantom what is going on here? Please do not stop….Keep watching Emmanuel TV!!!

Now to the issue at hand concerning the New Anointing Water, please let us make it unequivocally clear that the fact of the case is as follows…please read carefully.

Firstly, TB Joshua Watch has recorded the statement of the Prophet and edited it in order to misrepresent him.  Thank Goodness, a clip of every broadcast is uploaded on YouTube, and please feel free to see the clip on YouTube and compare it with what these discredited bloggers have put on…what a manipulation!

The issue of the New Anointing Water….hmmn, please let who have ears listen carefully. The exact statements of Prophet TB Joshua were as follows:

The Prophet said, he has provided Water, but God gives the Anointing, which simply means that he is saying that as a servant of God, he can only act on instructions in righteousness to pray in faith over anything, and when these things are passed on to people, will become medium for God to use to manifest Himself in their lives.  Please people of God, was it not same issue with Paul, whereby anything coming in contact with him were used as medium for healing, deliverance, blessing and salvation?

SCOAN GHANA CHURCH – THE PEOPLE YOU SEE ARE NOT UP TO QUATER OF THOSE PRESENT

• The Prophet said that the Anointing Water has been packaged costing a lot of money, but as a free gift of God, given out freely to people in the service on the 12^th of May.  Has anyone said money was collected?
• The Prophet’s word has also been manipulated.  He advised everyone taking the Anointing Water to take ONLY 1, and that should anyone take more than 1, would automatically nullify the Grace in it, because it is dubious, as everyone is entitled to just one (1).
• The prophet said that anyone taking more than one will only result him or her carrying away ‘dirty water’, meaning it may not work, because it has not be obtained in good faith and truthfully. This is quite simple, to say that whatever starts dubiously must end up dubiously…plan and simple.
• The distribution of the Anointing Water as announced by the Prophet stated that the Water would be sent to every part of the world.  This triggered several thousands of people going immediately to all SCOAN branches around the globe, even while the boxes had not left Lagos.  You should understand that because of what millions of people all around the world have been witnessing through Emmanuel TV, people around the world (obviously except the subversive bigots at TB Joshua Watch, who are the ‘most righteous’) want to partake in what God is doing here daily.  If millions in this generation must believe, they must see proof and signs that JESUS IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER.
• The unfortunate incident in Ghana has just brought home the reality of how desperately people are seeking God. Please let us state categorically that, there was no announcement to the general public or even the SCOAN members in Ghana that Anointing Water would be distributed.  But to everyone’s amazement, suddenly everywhere was jammed packed even up to all adjoining major roads. As soon as the report of the large crowd got to the Prophet, he personally came on air to suspend the service and meeting that day (see clip on Emmanuel TV). The Church authorities quickly alerted the Police and Security authorities about the mammoth crowd and they quickly dispatched personnel to the scene (well over 500 Policemen and 200 Soldiers). The Church Auditorium was full, and many tents were provided outside, but unexpectedly, the crowd (600 yards away) surged and pushed towards the venue, when to gate was opened for those inside to go home after Prophet TB Joshua announced that the service would no longer hold that Sunday, obviously in cases like stampede may be unavoidable. READERS PLEASE NOTE I WAS THERE AND I SAW IT HAPPENED. The security and Police authorities performed excellently and professionally in controlling and assisting the crowd. Our prayers go to the fatally affected, the wounded as well as their families. We just find it imperative to make the clarifications above in order to put records straight to stop the ‘deluded bigots’ from truncating their slanderous remarks.

DID TB JOSHUA CAUSE THE GHANA TRAGEDY?

The recent tragic incident that led to the death of four persons and others injured in SCOAN Ghana branch cause by unexpected crowd that troop to the church for free new anointing water allegedly sent by TB Joshua to be shared among the SCOAN Ghana church members. Many critics of SCOAN have used this opportunity to say all kinds of things about the prophet knowing to them that Stampede is a normal occurrence during huge world invent like festivals, campaigns, protects etc. Stampede occurred were massive crowd gathered especially when there is struggle and rush. Many of these critics have tried to involve or accuse the prophet concerning the incident, but the fact remains that this incidents have nothing to do with the prophet. Tb Joshua was not in Ghana and this is the first time in the history of SCOAN have we heard that persons dead from large crowd and SCOAN is know for huge crowd. Stampede is a common occurrence in the world when there are large crowd. We have seen record of hundreds of persons that dead form stampede in Mecca and other large gathering around the world.

Also, many of this critics have questioned the prophetic gift of the prophet, as to if he saw the incident beforehand and if he did, why did the prophet not prevents is occurrence. The prophet saw it coming that is why he cancelled the meeting. The meeting was cancelled before this incident took place. It is not TB Joshua fault. Do you expect TB Joshua to be with them and teach them how to conduct their selves, even the crowds in SCOAN headquarter was the worst; it took security agent to claim the crowd that was desperate for the free new anointing water. Who know what may have happened if the service was not discontinued in SCOAN Ghana,the death casualties may have even be more than this. SCOAN did not make any public announcement that they want to distribute anointing water in Ghana, even the Ghana pastor stated that their usual numbers of members where 15,000 and they were very surprise to see up to 45,000 and above which is not usual on a normal Sunday service in SCOAN Ghana. The prophet is someone that has the people at heart he wants to see a world that is Godly and right. The mission of the prophet is not to kill but to give life and salvation to the children of God. But, the evil ones who are haters of good thing are looking for all means to stop this great mission of the prophet by giving him bad names so that those that supposed to be saved by the grace in the life of the prophet will be deceived. We know they will never succeed by the grace of God.

Is TB Joshua Anointing Water the Savior?

This is another issue that have being raised by some critics, SCOAN have made it clear countless of time that anointing water is just a medium, Jesus is the healer. We should be careful with the way we speak and react against the things of God. Jesus is our focus, TB Joshua have never said that he is equal to God he has always see himself as a servant and God is the master. TB Joshua remains the most humble servant of God among mega pastors and yet he is the greatest among the mall. Those who are ignorantly taking the prophet as a god are on their own the prophet has nothing to do with it. Salvation is the major focus of SCOAN not miracle, all the healing and deliverance in SCOAN are all for the salvation of our soul.

This incident was unfortunate and we sincerely sympathize with the family of those victims and quick recovering to those that sustain some degree of injuries. And may God bless the good people of Ghana and also we pray for more of God grace upon the land. Amen

No Amount of Defamation and Discouragment Can Stop God’s Work – TB Joshua

The General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T B Joshua says no amount of defamatory or discouraging words can stop what God is set to do in the nation, Ghana. In his quest to find lasting answers to the numerous challenges that confront the body of Christ in this nation he embarked on a familiarity visit to the Ghana branch of the church situated at the Spintex road to ascertain the amount of work on the ground and to look for possible solutions to them. But this has not gone down well with some individuals within the media circles who have little or no knowledge at all about the man of God or are being used by some aggrieved men who are into Kingdom business and feel threatened at the visit of the man of God or have allowed themselves to be used by the devil to stop the move of God.

It is in the wake of this that I have taken the pain upon myself to paint a vivid picture of the situation on the ground and to advice those media men whose intention is to throw dust into the eyes of the public to tread cautiously because no mortal man challenges the almighty God to a fight and comes out victorious. Plus, I want to point it out that no amount of defamatory statements can stop the hand of God over his people in this nation.

These media men who are bent on painting negative images of Prophet T B Joshua and his ministry trumpeted unfounded allegations that the presence of the Man of God and the Wise men  created a serious vehicular traffic on the Spintex road as at Tuesday dawn, workers  abandoned their posts to attend miracle sessions, the man of God  was affiliated to a certain political party in the country, and then also  supposedly guards of the man of God had detained Journalists who wanted to  cover  the programme.

If one cares to know, the presence of the Man of God was to address the challenges of the numerous Ghanaians who besieged the Headquarters of the Synagogue Church of all Nations in Lagos-Nigeria week in week out to meet him and not to ran a crusade. Hence not a second advert was placed on Emmanuel TV or any other social network.

I  would again like to put it on point that the allegations of a huge vehicular traffic on the Spintex road was not as severe as  reported but an act of heavy exaggeration because one could drive past the area in 10-15 minutes because of the presence of traffic controllers. The Man of God didn’t advertise his coming and could not have asked workers to absent themselves from work. His visit was to attend to those who were making frantic efforts to see him in Lagos-Nigeria and when people got wind of his coming they began to reach out to relations on phone and that contributed to the numbers that flooded the premises.

On his take on the allegations of political affiliation, Prophet T B Joshua refuted it saying the nature of his job does not permit him to be associated with any political set up both locally and internationally, and that he was for all.

The most diabolic of all the concocted stories on the internet  is the one that says supposedly “Body Guards” of the Man of God had detained Journalists from NET 2 TV for taking footage of the gathering, an allegation purported to instigate the media against the man of God and his ministry. The two Journalist colleagues namely Seth Yeboah and Abdul Wahab Giwah who I attended the second day meeting together with made it clear to me that they had gone to cover the event but were met with a huge crowd at the entrance making accessibility impossible. At this point they consulted the church security men who ushered them into the church security post which saved them the trouble of hustling through the crowd. They had access to water and some energy drinks with the promise that their request to take visuals will be forwarded to the church authorities for approval.

Due to the huge human presence, it appeared the concentration of the security men was on crowd control and so each time the two journalists enquired about progress made on their request, one of the security men by name Vincent Aziza told them to give him time since he is yet to receive clarification from the authorities. According to the two journalists from NET 2 TV it was until 1pm when crew from Multi TV were also ushered into the security post to wait for the Green light before any filming could go on but they raised an alarm which suggested we were facing detention, which attracted the presence of the police.

The two journalists from NET 2 TV have however expressed shock and dissatisfaction with the publication that seemed to link them with the detention story and would like to correct that impression the two journalists have stated categorically that they were not kept against their will let alone being detained. They had the option to leave without taking coverage or stay and wait for the approval and they opted for the latter.

Samuel Excellence a representative of the church in Ghana, he revealed that the man of God’s visit to Ghana was to bring relieve to the poor and less privileged Ghanaians who go through strenuous conditions to met him at the Head Quarters weekly. He said some sold their properties, vehicles or even borrowed money to travel to the Head Quarters which most often the man of God ended up refunding their moneys back to. This he said applied to people from Togo, Namibia, Cameroun, South Africa and the World over, so the presence of the man of God was not to create chaos, vehicular traffic, road blocks, exploit Ghanaians or step on the toes of any persons or cause supposedly body guards to manhandle journalist but to reach out to the vulnerable at their doorstep.

Rev. Samuel further indicated that the man of God does not use body guards because he wants to reach out to the unreachable and has always maintained that he is accessible but untouchable. He seized the opportunity to render an apology, on behalf of Prophet T B Joshua to all who might have been offended by his presence in Ghana. .

Before the commencement of the second day’s service one of the wise men by name Daniel addressed the issue of the media saying Emmanuel TV is a Media organization and so when they fight the media then they fight EMMANUEL TV and that SCOAN is a media friendly set up and that it is through the media that most of the negative impressions about the man of God has been corrected.

Prophet T B Joshua arrived later on Wednesday afternoon and addressed all the concerns that had been raised in the media, and also apologized to the media men for any inconveniences that they might have been through saying SCOAN is a media friendly setup and had no basis to stop the media from taking coverage of the event since he knows what he is doing is “light and not darkness”. If you are doing “wuluwulu things” that is when you think of keeping the media away, he said.

A Queen mother Cautions Owusu Bempah Over TB Joshua

Following TB Joshua’s turbulent trip to Ghana on the 7^th May, 2013, the following outstanding article by the Queen mother of the Odomna Family of Ekumfi Otuam, who also happens to be the Chief of Ekumfi Henakuma, Nana Ogya Boafo VII was published on Peacefmonline.com  There are other Pastors in Ghana who have cautioned Owusu Bempah for his immature behaviour.

May I remind Owusu Bempah that the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria did their worst, when the late Bishop Idahosa attacked TB Joshua during one of his crusade in Tafabalewa Square in Lagos Nigeria;

It all started when Archbishop Idahosa (MENTOR TO MANY GHANAIAN PASTORS) came out strongly against Prophet T.B. Joshua to the extent of questioning his calling and pronouncing a death sentence on him by saying next year by this time he T.B. Joshua would be no more. Idahosa is known very much for his verbal vituperation’s and curses but this time the curse rather fell on him. He met his untimely death the year he exactly gave for T.B. Joshua to pass on. Words are powerful and people must be careful in the way they speak or talk. People should refrain at all cost in pronouncing curses on others. Commenters be careful of your comments against TB Joshua

Another Pentecostal big wig and leader of the PFN in Nigeria, Ayo Oritejafor was less charitable, and demanded to know, ‘who tutored T.B. Joshua as a pastor in the first place’. He went on further to say, ‘If T.B. Joshua can show me his pastor who pastored him before he said he was called into the ministry; if T.B. Joshua can tell me when he got converted and how he got converted, then we would consider him. Anybody who is a Christian is a Christian because he received Jesus Christ at a point’.

This is quite laughable, does the anointing come from tutors and role models? The anointing comes from God who gives liberally. Indeed, T.B Joshua never attended a Charismatic church pastored by the likes of Ayo, Adeboye and Idahosa but was a member of the Anglican Church where he served God faithfully and The Lord bestowed on him a mighty anointing which has become a source of envy. Thank God, T.B. Joshua was not tutored by the likes of Idahosa and Ayo.

It has emerged that the series of searing attacks launched on the General Overseer of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun (TB) Joshua by the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries, Bishop Isaac Owusu Bempah, has earned the latter derisive responses from every angle.The Queen mother of the Odomna Family of Ekumfi Otuam, who also happens to be the Chief of Ekumfi Henakuma, Nana Ogya Boafo VII, has cautioned Rev. Owusu Bempah to season his words with salt when addressing TB Joshua else stand the chance of opening the floodgates for traditional authorities like herself to reveal his “dirty” secrets she has refused to churn out. In an interview with Okay FM, Nana Ogya Boafo VII who happens to be a relative of the late former President Mills, quipped that Rev. Owusu-Bempah’s latest attack on TB Joshua is a clear indication that “he has gone bananas”. He advised him to seek mental help from medical experts in order to ‘correct’ organs in his head which might have developed faults. She advised Rev. Owusu Bempah to clean the mess surrounding his marriage and make sure he removes the log in his eyes before attempting to wipe the spec in the eyes of others. Comparing the two, Nana Ogya Boafo VII noted that unlike Bishop Isaac Owusu Bempah, Prophet TB Joshua uses his resources to help the poor and the needy. According to Nana Ogya Boafo VII, she can’t afford to allow Bishop Isaac Owusu Bempah denigrate Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua since she also was directly related to him. Shedding little light on her background, she revealed that her father hailed from the same town in Nigeria as Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua comes from. As a result of this, she indicated that she considers the General Overseer of The Synagogue Church of All Nations as a brother.

What does Owusu Bempah hope to achieve by discrediting T.B. Joshua. If he says T.B. Joshua’s anointing is not from God his own ministry has been questioned by Rev. Agyin Asare and Arch Bishop Duncan Williams.

I only hope he will try and rebuild his ministry after so many scandals that has rocked it and rendered it weak and powerless. Does he want to rebuild his ministry at the back of T.B. Joshua?  Owusu Bempah indeed has a tarnished reputation in Ghana and abroad. In London the police had to intervene when one David Myles organised a crusade for him but only a handful of people turned up, he got so much annoyed that he had not been paid his share of the money and he threatened to fight the organiser of the crusade, David Myles. The police had to be called in to bring sanity to the situation.
Owusu Bempah has been embroiled in so many problems bothering on integrity and honesty. He bought a stolen car from a fraudster which became the news of the hour and also an affair with his maid servant which also became a national issue. It is this same Owusu Bempah who had a massive stroke and was flown in to London for medical help and admission. He didn’t take a cue from this but rather turned against Agyin Asare and the rest saying they were not from God.

What is Owusu Bempah’ s achievement apart from siphoning monies from unsuspecting Ghanaians for his lavish lifestyle. Can he tell us why his lawfully wedded wife divorced him? Owusu Bempah while give us a break from his demonic posturing. Yes, we know God can use any medium to bring healing and deliverance to his people but what his giving of salt and honey done to people who attend his crusades? At least, we can testify to T B JOSHUA’S anointing water and stickers. I advice Owusu Bempah to mend his chequered ways and concentrate on his ministry and stop attacking pastors. Today is Agyin Asare, tomorrow is T. B. Joshua. If it is a personality conflict he should see his doctors again in England. Ghanaians are getting fed up with his sickening effusions

Let me say this, there is no one in Ghana with the anointing T.B Joshua has been endowed with. Owusu Bempah is becoming irrelevant in Christendom. He wants to be noticed and recognised at all cost. I will rather urge him to further his education and start learning English.

Here is a wonderful response from a good citizen, Justice Lee Adoboe residing in Ghana, who has responded to an article published on Ghana web on Prophet TB Joshua’s visit to Ghana on Tuesday.

Modernity and education arguments versus the power of God, I was so appalled after reading the piece on the topic above written by one Kwame Asempa, and only wished he was not emphatic about things he cannot understand. I believe miracles still exist and God chooses which vessel to use in performing miracles. In most of the cases, “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong” 1 Corinthians 1: 27.”
There is no academic power, including theology which can withstand the move of God by the Holy Spirit.“There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” John 3: 1 (Remember Nichodemus was a professor of the Tora or law). “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus,” Acts 4: 13 This was the testimony about Peter and the rest of the apostles when they started their ministry, and the secret there is that they had been with Jesus.
Was it not Jesus who told the disciples, “Greater works than this…”?
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14: 12 & 13
I am taking pains laying this foundation because I have heard so many people these days trying to challenge Prophet T.B Joshua.
Most people have issues with prophesies he pronounces, and others the miracles performed through him. While some say they were fake, others believe his miracles are from Satan.
Most of these people unfortunately believe magicians and other agents of the forces of darkness.
They also believe in dry theorems of men which have not been able to save the world, but are quick to condemn the working of miracles, as if the miracles affect them negatively. But let me ask, do you have any proof to disprove the miracles or do you have any evidence that his miracles are from Satan? If you don’t why do you want to bring God’s wrath upon yourself by condemning something you don’t understand.
“Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, “Jude 1: 9 & 10
And Jesus warned that “but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” Mark 3: 29.

This warning was as a result of a similar thing said about Jesus by the scribes, claiming Jesus’ miracles were from Beelzebub, the prince of demons.
And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casted out devils. And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies where whatsoever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation. Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space; And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men…. But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. Acts 5: 34, 35 & 39
We can be critical, because the Bible itself tells s to test spirits” Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4: 1.
I have always maintained that as long as I have not found T.B Joshua contravening the Bible, and as long as I have not heard anything from God condemning him, I won’t make any prejudicial statements about him.
I advise that we might not like the look of T.B Joshua, and even think he doesn’t speak good English, but as long as we have found no proof of all our sentiments against him, let us keep praying and allow God whose name he has been using, and Jesus, whose name he has been using judge him, if they have not sent him.
This is better than incurring the wrath of God as Gamaliel said: “lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.”.
You can’t fight for God, so don’t be found fighting God.

Ghanaians stop politicking with anything T.B Joshua

Why the unnecessary fixation with T.B. Joshua? I am rather taken aback by the report that T.B Joshua security men detained Ghanaian journalists during his current visit to Ghana and the subsequent engagement with his church members at Spintex Road.
For your information T.B. Joshua has no bodyguards and those who volunteered to bring order and discipline on our roads during his visit cannot be termed to be security men. Again, since the matter is before the president of the Ghana journalists Association I will not like to delve in to it or pre-empt it. The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has got its own mouth piece which is Emmanuel TV and they have the right to all publications and video recordings at the premises and elsewhere within the confines of the Synagogue worldwide. I shudder to ask, what is wrong with this?
Where in the world can private individuals go and film church services and for that matter, crusades? Ghanaians must wake up and stop the politicking with anything T.B Joshua. T.B. Joshua is neither NPP nor NDC and must be left alone. His association with our late president, John Atta Mill, does not make him NDC. Again, leave T.B. Joshua alone, leave him to be!

In Genesis 5-7, Noah, through building the ark, prophesied that the entire civilization would die by a flood. He alone with his family would be the only survivors.

Yet some people write:

• “We’re angry what he claims was a prophecy was useless for anything except giving him bragging rights.”

In 1 Kings 20:27-28, “The man of God came up and told the king of Israel, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Because the Arameans think the Lord is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the Lord’. For seven days they camped opposite each other, and on the seventh day the battle was joined. The Israelites inflicted a hundred thousand casualties on the Aramean foot soldiers in one day.” One hundred thousand Arameans died that day, enemies of the Lord.

Yet the same people would write:

• “We’re angry that someone representing Christianity is using a tragedy for self-promotion.”

Throughout Scriptures, God Almighty reveals to His children the tactics and strategies of the enemy so that they can be well-guarded and well-secured. God can use any medium to express Himself today. In Biblical times, He used the medium of His servants, the prophets and apostles. Today, He still uses the medium of His servants, the prophets and apostles. Prophet T.B. Joshua is one such servant of God, speaking forth what God has put in his heart and on his lips for the sake of God’s people and those who are to become a member of the household of faith. We know the source of these prophetic messages – Prophet T.B. Joshua speaks directly, live from The SCOAN on Emmanuel TV for the world to see and conclude in their own heart.

Do we know the source of this blasphemy? Where are these voices, these words coming from on the internet? Who are they? Where do they come from?

Do you really believe everything you hear on the internet?

Thousands encircle TB Joshua’s church for healing and deliverance

Thousands of people, acting on a hint that the Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T. B. Joshua, would minister in Accra yesterday, thronged the Ghana branch of the church, off the Spintex Road, seeking divine intervention in their lives.

Prophet Joshua shepherds one of the largest unorthodox Christian congregations in Africa and is renowned for his healing and deliverance ministration.

The large number of worshippers spilled over the church auditorium and premises onto the street outside, stretching for as long as about 100 metres, with canopies erected on both sides of the street to accommodate the anxious congregants.

Some of those who could not find space under the canopies had to sit or stand in the scorching sun, with a few taking shelter under small umbrellas.

The Daily Graphic team had a tough time entering the premises of the church, as the crowd jostled one another to find convenient places to seek divine intervention.

Some of the ushers of the church were very hostile to the Graphic team, leading to heated exchanges at one stage.

But, eventually, an official of Emmanuel TV, the media organisation of the church, intervened and ushered the team onto the church premises, where church officials were very helpful.

The Daily Graphic later learnt that some journalists who had visited the premises earlier had been manhandled and detained by some officials of the church.

That incident must have prompted the heavy presence of police and military personnel on the premises to maintain law and order.

Although Prophet Joshua did not show up at the service, many of the worshippers were not perturbed, as they claimed to have received healing, deliverance and breakthroughs in their lives.

The moment to justify the long wait in the sun came when leaders of the church, identified as the three ‘Wise Men’, walked through the congregation, giving them spiritual touches for their healing and deliverance.

As the three ‘Wise Men’ laid their hands on the people, there were screams from the recipients of the holy touches, screams that were supposedly from demons fleeing and pleading for mercy.

A teacher at a school at Dansoman in Accra, Kwasi Amoah, was one of those touched by the three ‘Wise Men’.

“My brother, it was not easy; it was as if some power has passed through my system,” he told the Daily Graphic.

Mr Amoah said he had attended the service because he had heard that Prophet Joshua would be ministering.

He said having seen Prophet Joshua’s spiritual exploits on television, “I knew that when I come anything tormenting me will stop”.

He said things had not been going on well in his job and he attributed that to spiritual reasons.

A resident of Odorkor, an Accra suburb, Naa Dedei, had been suffering from stomach ache for a long time, but after a touch from one of the three ‘Wise Men’, she said, “I feel good now.”

Rita Norla Amegbletor, a resident of Tema, had attended the service seeking spiritual solutions to her marital problems.

She expressed the belief that her marital problems had been solved, but she was relying on time to confirm her marital breakthrough.

For Tony Ikefuna, a resident of Awoshie, also in Accra, he had gone to the service to seek healing for his headache and high blood pressure.

After the service, he said, “I am okay.”

TB Joshua’s Triumphant Entry Into Ghana

A church programme scheduled for Tuesday morning in Ghana’s national capital, Accra, by Prophet T. B.

Joshua of Nigeria has caused chaos and humongous gridlock on the Spintex road and its enclave.

The entire Spintex enclave has been invaded by a sea of cars, some of which have parked haphazardly on the side of the road.

Thousands of Christians and members of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations Synagogue (SCOAN) have swamped the enclave for T. B. Joshua’s morning Church service.

Public figure David Ampofo, who described the situation as “total chaos” in an interview with XYZ News also wrote on his facebook wall that: “Come and see what is happening on Spintex road. We can’t even go out to work or take the kids to school because T.B. Joshua has arrived in Ghana and is holding a service at his Church on Spintex road with a message from God for his flock”.

“Cars parked all over, on pavements, on the lawn, in every conceivable space. People trooping in large numbers on foot, making their way to see their “man of God”, describing it as a “shame” and asking: “What is wrong with us?”

Mr. Ampofo wondered why so many thousands of people would abandon their jobs on a Tuesday morning to go to worship with T. B. Joshua.

Chances are great now, if you’re reading this article, that you are one of those benefiting immensely from the priceless Grace of God in the Life of TB Joshua in the form of healing, deliverance, salvation prosperity, divine protection and all of God’s blessings.  While you are at it, you must not ignore the reality of the diverse forms of opposition against the ministry of TB Joshua, which time has revealed to be in all spheres of life. You must have read derogatory stories about the man in the synagogue on newspapers, Magazines, internet, and also come across distasteful rumors alleging different offenses committed by the Man TB Joshua. A friend of mine who usually kept a record of most allegations against TB Joshua he came across confessed to me that he was confused, when I asked him why, he replied that apart from the fact that the allegations do not all agree, they were so much that he wondered if truly a single soul was capable of all this evil and still have such an active and growing ministry. Still the question remains, how can we verify the truth of these stories? Are these reports true or false? If you’re one of those pondering if there could be any truth in the evil reports you’ve read about TB Joshua, it would interest you to know that Negative propaganda on the internet is one of the least forms of attack against TB Joshua; the ministry of SCOAN aside from topping the chart of the most persecuted ministry on earth, also boasts of thousands of documented confession videos of demonically orchestrated seductive attempts at TB Joshua of the synagogue of all nations. Now this you would agree is a more serious form of attack, especially when the seducers are ever willing to testify before a global audience of the processes involved in their seductive assignment on TB Joshua, such that were it to succeed, we would not be reading falsified stories about TB Joshua, but stories of how the ministry of SCOAN no longer exists. Here we present one of many who have come to The SCOAN to seduce the man of God and her confession was recorded. As the wise man prayed for her, the evil spirit dwelling in her manifested and confessed the following:

“My duty is to seduce pastors because my kingdom needed souls. A lot of people go to church without doing what they are supposed to do….I am the queen. She hasn’t finished the assignment I gave her. I am the idol. I destroy men…I get them with the sample of the body. In my eyes are many powers to seduce them; before they know it, they come crawling. I seduced pastors and I loved it. I love seducing them the most – all of those chewing gum boys out there. They would see me one on one in their office. When I talked, they would like my voice and they would just like me. Of course, I get what I want.

Those who are truly born again, I don’t go close to them because when I see them, the fire in them scares me so I would just have to go but when I see the simple ones, I love it, those who call themselves men of God but are not practicing the real thing. I love getting those ones to my kingdom. I would just sleep with them and have fun.

The way you people are doing all these things, our kingdom is drying. We need more souls.”

To the glory of God, she received her deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ and power of the Holy Spirit. Free from deceptive and seductive spirits, she confessed the following:

“I am Florence Oluchi Ezibiro. I was initiated as the queen of the coast from my childhood. When I became older, it was time to carry out my mission, which was seduction. I would go to different churches, in the name of going there looking for a solution to my problem. My mission there was to seduce men of God, most especially the proud pastors. Coming to the church, I would see a pastor preaching, “The kingdom of darkness has no power”. I would be provoked. I knew where my power was, in my eyes, breasts, navel and my hips. When I walked into the church, I made sure the pastor looked at me eye to eye. From there, I would initiate him. When everyone was seated in the church listening to the pastor while he preached, I would walk into the church and make sure everyone’s attention would go to me. The way I demonstrated my body and eyes and the way I walked, they would be forced to look at me. When they looked at me, they would be carried away. After service, if I saw that they didn’t notice me, I would request for their prayer, that I was suffering from this or that. I didn’t actually need the prayer I was requesting for. If I couldn’t seduce them in the church, getting to their office was a one-on-one talk. When I talked to them, I would look into their eyes, read and manipulate their minds at that time. I would say that I wanted to be delivered. The pastors would start preaching that I needed to be born again. I would agree that I needed to be born again. Then I would draw up my breasts and they would say that they were in love with me. I looked into their eyes and could manipulate the pastors. Instead of them to deliver me, I would deliver them on my bed. After that, most of them would begin having problems with their ministries. Inside me, I would know that they were already mine.

Imagine if she would have succeeded. What would have happened? She said that she was sent to seduce pastors and after “delivering them on her bed,” their ministries would begin to suffer problems. That was what happened when she fulfilled her mission. She took souls to the evil kingdom by sleeping with the pastor. But when she came to The SCOAN, she was unable to fulfil the mission. Why? Where are they now?  what are they doing?  If a person with such an evil intent of seducing TB Joshua to have sex with her, after imagining and fantasizing about how her sexual affair with TB Joshua would go, on getting to SCOAN, didn’t succeed and left without being delivered, what do you think would stop such a person from gossiping LIES about how she and TB Joshua slept together? Which of the two sins is easier to commit in your opinion? A person bestowed with demonic powers from the pit of hell for the sole purpose of seducing TB Joshua, leaving without deliverance is capable of anything – and of this truth you can be sure, that when those seducers who escaped without deliverance realized that their mission had failed in The SCOAN, they went to the media, cooking up stories of falsehood against the ministry with this instruction from SATAN their master in mind;

 If we cannot destroy him as it now seems; then let us bring his name to utter disrepute to ascribe unto him the abomination we intended for him, that many whom we have afflicted might not go to him and be loosened from our yoke, else we lose at both ends. For look! The whole worlds of our afflicted are going after him as they went unto him whom we hung on a tree.

Popular Nollywood Actress Confesses To Being A Witch On TB Joshua’s TV

Nollywood veteran actress, Camilla Mberekpe, popularly known as Mama Eko, was at the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, on Sunday to seek deliverance from a demon that has possessed and tormented her for many years.

As the face of the light-skinned actress was beamed on television screens in Prophet T.B. Joshua’s church, many worshippers stood in awe and screamed: “Jesus, an actress too!”

Prophet T.B. Joshua, who did not seem to know the actress, was a bit confused and did not understand why the sudden noise in the church as he stood before her.

“I don’t know you,” he said as he laid hands on her. He asked her to wait behind for the exorcism in the night.

The church and deliverance service was broadcast live to millions of viewers on Emmanuel Television, the Synagogue Church’s cable network aired on several continents.

Later in the night, one of the wise men in Synagogue church began to exorcise the demons from the actress and in the process, she began to talk, although the exorcist later said it was the demon in her talking through her.

She began to confess that her mission is to destroy a very good actress who prays and worships God a lot.

“I don’t want her to go up. She’s a very good actress. I want to destroy her,” she said in a bizarre and demonic tone.

“I destroyed her marriage because she refused to worship me. I hate it when she prays. She is a prayer warrior,” she said.

As hands were laid on the actress and the demon was ordered in the name of Jesus to leave her body, she fell to the ground.

Her scarf fell off her hair and she began to roll on the floor, screaming and apparently resisting the power of God.

The scene appeared bizarre to many worshippers and could shock millions of viewers not used to occultic or spiritual warfare.

At a time, it seemed as if the actress, who has acted in more than 38 home video movies, including many roles as wicked mother and step-mother, was in a Nollywood scene and acting.

The expression on her face appeared funny, serious and dangerous.

Ngozi Mberekpe is a very versatile actress who speaks English and French fluently as well as her Igbo native language.

She has been in Nollywood since the early days of the industry and she is often cast as  mother or wicked step-mother.

Another plus for Camilla is the fact that she is also fluent in French, as demonstrated in the movie “Bonjour”.

She has featured in numerous roles in movies such as Tea or Coffee, Holy Anger, Illegal Brother, Sins Of the Heart and  Beloved among others.

The deliverance session was so striking that the four buses purchased by Synagogue Church to cater for the elderly in their church, which was introduced yesterday, received little attention after the service as many people kept talking about the Nollywood actress.

The four buses, T.B. Joshua said, would convey the elderly to church on Sunday and take them back home after the service.

“If you want to reach old age, you must care for the elderly,” T.B. Joshua said in her sermon, adding that many have abandoned their aged parents and grandparents in villages and are enjoying life alone in Lagos.

Journalists deny being detained by SCOAN Ghana’s Security

Two Journalists from Kencity Media Limited (NET2 TV/Oman FM) Abdul Wahab Giwah and Seth Quaku Yeboah have denied media reports that they were detained by security personnel of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) founded by Prophet T.B. Joshua. They expressed shock about media reports that they were detained.

Emmanuel Anteh, a journalist with Joy News on Multi-TV, and his cameraman, Gilbert Azu reported that they were detained without any explanation for over six hours.

In their narration, Emmanuel Anteh, a journalist with Joy News on Multi-TV, and his cameraman, Gilbert Azu mentioned that another group of journalists from NET 2 Television Abdul Wahab Giwah and Seth Quaku Yeboah were also detained for more than six hours.

However, the two Journalists from Kencity Media Limited (NET2 TV/Oman FM) Abdul Wahab Giwah and Seth Quaku Yeboah says their inclusion in the detention story came as a surprise to them. According to them, they arrived at the Ghana branch of SCOAN at Spintex around 5AM Tuesday May 7, 2013. Since they did not have accreditation, they contacted Vincent Aziza one of the heads of the vigilante Group of the church to seek permission to cover the event. Vincent Aziza then asked the two journalists to wait at the security post guarded by a military officer. Aziza explained to the military officer why the two journalists had to wait there while he consults officials of the church to seek clarification as to whether to allow the media cover the event or not. While waiting at the security post, Aziza keeps going back and forth and when they enquire about the progress, Aziza tells them to give him time since he was yet to hear from officials of the church. Aziza’s attention was more on crowd control and the journalists waited till about 10AM when the wise men arrived. While the wise men started their work, the Journalists were still at the security post waiting for Aziza’s feedback. At around 1PM, Multi TV crew were also brought to the security post to wait for Aziza’s feedback on whether filming by journalists would be authorised or not. The Multi TV crew immediately started calling theirbosses in the office to inform them about the situation. In just about 20 minutes time, personnel from the Ghana Police Service arrived at the security post demanding to know what the situation was. After narrating what happened, the police escorted the journalists out of the premises of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN). The two Journalists from Kencity Media Limited(NET2 TV/Oman FM)Abdul Wahab Giwah and Seth Quaku Yeboah will like to put on record that they were not kept against their will for it to amount to detention. According to them, they were free to leave without covering the event but their desire to cover the event at all cost coupled with securing permission to do socoming very late kept them long at the security post.
